Tokyu Stay Hida Takayama Musubinoyu

This was probably the best hotel I stayed at during my Japan trip! The location was excellent — an easy walk to the morning markets, old town, restaurants, and everything I wanted to see in Takayama. The room was very comfortable, especially the large bed, and I loved having a washer/dryer combo machine right in the room. After traveling and walking so much every day, it was incredibly convenient and worked surprisingly well. One of my favorite touches was the relaxing foot bath area, which was perfect after long sightseeing days. The onsen was also wonderful and made the stay even more special. I also enjoyed the hotel dinner buffet. There was plenty of food, lots of variety, and everything was tasty and well worth the price. Overall, this hotel had all the comfort, convenience, and amenities I could ask for. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Takayama!

decent room size. Private onsen was good but a little too noisy from traffic. Fantastic location next to train station. Many eateries around and only 15 mins walk to old town.

Good location. Good service.

So convenient to station it removes any stress with local transport. Well organised service for use of private bath. A good corporate citizen in respect of Takayama strategy on sustainability and involvement of Local community in tourism Breakfasts and tableware for them could be more curated is only suggestion for improvement.
