You can hear the JR lines in the 3rd floor halls but at least on room 312, barely a hum. The shower 🚿 has 4 modes and great water pressure. Free coffee and ice cream pops in the lobby. Friendly staff. 9 minutes walk from Nippori (JR lines and Keisei Skyliner) and 4 minutes walk from Nishi-nippori (JR Yamanote and Chiyoda C16).

飯店的位置離JR西日暮里站很近，松屋、房家西日暮里店、麥當勞、7-11也近，日暮里站前有超市， 因為在鐵路旁（三條路線）， 會有聲音，但對我們沒有影響。 我們住四個晚上分別遇到除日本服務員外三個中國與台灣籍的櫃檯服務員，服務態度都很好很高興遇到他們（我有去櫃檯借水果刀）。 二樓有投幣自助洗衣機，可洗可烘，用了一次，真的很方便。

We loved our stay at Tokyo Trip. We are a family with 2 kids and were able to stay in one room, which is difficult to find in Tokyo. Our room had two single beds and two futon beds on tatami. The kids loved sleeping on the tatami. The hotel is very conveniently located a few minutes walk from Nishi-Nippori station and Nippori station (which is direct to Narita on the Skyliner). It was nice to be in a quieter area of Tokyo while still having access to the Yamanote line. There is a 7-11 nearby as well as a supermarket right under the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel but they have free tea, coffee and popsicles at the reception as well as a number of games you can borrow for free. Our room also had a great balcony and deck. Yes you will hear the trains passing by overground; it didnt bother us as we were still able to sleep. Finally the whole staff is Chinese speaking (English fluency will vary from staff to staff) so it was convenient for me as I dont speak Japanese but can speak some Mandarin. Ms. Li K was very nice and helpful and the entire staff in general was very welcoming.

Located a few blocks from nishi nippori station so very easy to get to. Lots of restaurants in the area. Checking in was quick. Room was spacious and clean. Only one elevator. Free coffee and ice cream in lobby. A bit noisy because of proximity to station. English speaking staff.

You can get many one-time personal care items in the lobby (face cream, toner, face wash, earplugs, etc.). You do not need to bring any face care, which is super convenient! You can enjoy free coffee and ice cream in the lobby. There are board games for rent. The room is spotless. It is very near to the station. Only one 7-11 near the Hotel. I hope to have more choice. I am happy with this Hotel!

When I first booked this hotel, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew nothing about the area beyond a quick check on google maps and a few reddit threads. Upon finding the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was small, but extremely inviting, and the man that helped us was super affable and quick to make us feel right at home. During check-in, we were offered water and popsicles, both of which were greatly appreciated after a long travel day! By the elevator was a table full of amenities, from tea bags to toothbrushes and everything in between. There was also a selection of toys to check-out for the duration of your stay. The room was VERY spacious with a large desk, two double beds, a comfy chair, and a table. The attached balcony spanned the length of the room and had equally comfortable furniture. The bathroom had plenty of space to tend to daily needs: The shower had fantastic pressure. The toilet was a bidet, which had many comfort options, including a heated seat. Instructions were in English and Japanese. The hotel was quiet with one minor exception: trains go by! Neither my husband nor I found it to be too loud. Closing the door to the balcony muffled the sounds considerably and, even with the door open, they were easy to forget. There were many dining options and convenience stores, a gym, and the train station nearby. The Hotel Tokyo Trip was a pleasant stay. If/when we visit Japan again, we're definitely coming back!

駅近くで利用しやすい。電車の音は気になるが耳栓があったり配慮してくれていてよかった。 部屋もグレードアップされていてゆったり過ごすことができた。 当たり前に置いてあるホテルが多いので、氷がなかったのが少し残念だった。

The free amenities provided in the lobby are good. Really surprised to have Dyson hair dryer for free rental. If there is a choice for not changing the towel would be better as it is not necessary to change it everyday. Very nice and helpful hotel staff.

加湿器のフィルターに埃がものすごかった。フロントに伝えたら加湿器ごと交換してくれたので使用することができた。 親切な対応と思えるところはあったが…。 すぐ横を鉄道が通っていて電車が通るたびに騒音が結構響いた。 上記以上に信じられなかったのが、 冷蔵庫に忘れ物をしてチェックアウト10分後に電話して置いといてもらうように頼んだが、3時間後に電話かかってきて「何もなかった」と言われた。電話連絡後すぐに確認してないのがありえないし、商品名も数も確実にわかっている状態なのに「なかった」で通された。「そんなはずはない‼︎」と言ったら「確認する」と言ったまま連絡なかった。清掃スタッフがなかったことにしたか盗んだとしか思えない‼︎ 2度と泊まりたくない‼︎

Stayed at this hotel from 3/1/2024 to 3/7/2024. Likes: Hotel is clean. I reserved for 2 twin bed deluxe and it is spacious enough for me and my 90-year-old father with 2 large luggages, 1 medium size luggage, and a carry-on luggage. There is Doutor, 7-11, McDonald, and Yoshinoya stores within walking distance. And other restaurants nearby. This hotel is literally close to the train station that you could hear the train coming. If sound does not bother you, then it should not be a problem. It did not bother us at all. Overall, I like this hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Dislikes: No dining options inside the hotel.

The room is quite big compared to other hotels in the area. We opted for the western-japanese with a balcony which was GREAT. Service at reception was very nice too and helped us with the TA-Q-BIN and other issues. It's near the station, very convenient. NOTE: As other guests said, the train tracks are near so you could expect some noise, but with the double window we did not have any issue, it's like a murmur at night and should not disrupt your sleep.

As we arrived we were told that we got a free upgrade to a western Japanese style room. The room was great and really big, but sadly it was direct by the train rail and it was really laut in the room when a train passed by, which it did every 5-10 minutes except between 1 am until 5 am, where the trains does not drive. If that wasn't there it was a really great room. Nice staff. But because of the noise, I was really glad that we only stayed for 3 nights.

Great check-in - front desk super helpful. Cute little balcony garden patio to sit in. Right in the middle of everything - air conditioning worked great. Near ueno park and easy walk to asakusa. Great food options within two blocks.

As advertised in the hotel website, it is great for train spotting. It comes with some advantages (easy transport) but not as much disadvantages as one may fear (trains stop at midnight and though we heard them they didn’t bother us significantly). Very spacious rooms by Japanese standards and comfortable. Manda, at the front desk, was great!

Room is very clean and spacious. Easy to place your 2 suicases. Nice warm bedding with 2 big pillows per person. I wish hotel was located further away from train tracks. Trains noise stopped around midnight but started early morning. So if you need wake up call you will get it from noise of trains early morning. Sunsets in winter are really early around 4.30pm so you need to wake up early anyway. Hotel is located very close to Skyliner that gets you fast to Narita in 40 minutes. Train goes 150km/h. Buying skyliner ticket at the station was very complicated so perhaps getting it online would be easier. Very convinient subway station just a minute walk from hotel. Overall yes I would stay at that hotel again.

This hotel has great access to the train station. Staff were very helpful. Room was small but had what you need. My only issue was with our window was double glazed to limit train noise which it did well but at the expense of natural light I would stay here again but on another level to get the light.

Stayed at this hotel from 3/1/2024 to 3/7/2024. Likes: Hotel is clean. I reserved for 2 twin bed deluxe and it is spacious enough for me and my 90-year-old father with 2 large luggages, 1 medium size luggage, and a carry-on luggage. There is Doutor, 7-11, McDonald, and Yoshinoya stores within walking distance. And other restaurants nearby. This hotel is literally close to the train station that you could hear the train coming. If sound does not bother you, then it should not be a problem. It did not bother us at all. Overall, I like this hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Dislikes: No dining options inside the hotel.

You are right in the train track, but that was cool seeing them rush past from our balcony. Rooms spacious for Japan. Loved tatami lounge area. Very convenient.

The room is quite big compared to other hotels in the area. We opted for the western-japanese with a balcony which was GREAT. Service at reception was very nice too and helped us with the TA-Q-BIN and other issues. It's near the station, very convenient. NOTE: As other guests said, the train tracks are near so you could expect some noise, but with the double window we did not have any issue, it's like a murmur at night and should not disrupt your sleep.

We loved our stay at Tokyo Trip. We are a family with 2 kids and were able to stay in one room, which is difficult to find in Tokyo. Our room had two single beds and two futon beds on tatami. The kids loved sleeping on the tatami. The hotel is very conveniently located a few minutes walk from Nishi-Nippori station and Nippori station (which is direct to Narita on the Skyliner). It was nice to be in a quieter area of Tokyo while still having access to the Yamanote line. There is a 7-11 nearby as well as a supermarket right under the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel but they have free tea, coffee and popsicles at the reception as well as a number of games you can borrow for free. Our room also had a great balcony and deck. Yes you will hear the trains passing by overground; it didnt bother us as we were still able to sleep. Finally the whole staff is Chinese speaking (English fluency will vary from staff to staff) so it was convenient for me as I dont speak Japanese but can speak some Mandarin. Ms. Li K was very nice and helpful and the entire staff in general was very welcoming.

When I first booked this hotel, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew nothing about the area beyond a quick check on google maps and a few reddit threads. Upon finding the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was small, but extremely inviting, and the man that helped us was super affable and quick to make us feel right at home. During check-in, we were offered water and popsicles, both of which were greatly appreciated after a long travel day! By the elevator was a table full of amenities, from tea bags to toothbrushes and everything in between. There was also a selection of toys to check-out for the duration of your stay. The room was VERY spacious with a large desk, two double beds, a comfy chair, and a table. The attached balcony spanned the length of the room and had equally comfortable furniture. The bathroom had plenty of space to tend to daily needs: The shower had fantastic pressure. The toilet was a bidet, which had many comfort options, including a heated seat. Instructions were in English and Japanese. The hotel was quiet with one minor exception: trains go by! Neither my husband nor I found it to be too loud. Closing the door to the balcony muffled the sounds considerably and, even with the door open, they were easy to forget. There were many dining options and convenience stores, a gym, and the train station nearby. The Hotel Tokyo Trip was a pleasant stay. If/when we visit Japan again, we're definitely coming back!

The front desk staff was the friendliest we experienced our whole time in Japan. Wang, Monda, and a couple of others whose names we didn’t get. They spoke great English which helped our check in process. The rooms were on the smaller size but this is Japan and we didn’t want to spend our whole budget on the place we just slept. Beds were comfy. Towels were fresh. Super close to so many train stations including the Skyliner to/from NRT. And Nishi-Nippori exit.

The free amenities provided in the lobby are good. Really surprised to have Dyson hair dryer for free rental. If there is a choice for not changing the towel would be better as it is not necessary to change it everyday. Very nice and helpful hotel staff.

Stayed here for almost a week. I was hesitant about this hotel because a lot of people complained about the train noise. In my case, I did not find it problematic or distracting and they only last less than 10 seconds. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you are arriving / departing via Narita Intl Airport. NRT is directly connected to Nippori station, which is about a 10-min walk from hotel. In addition, the hotel is also close to Nishi-Nippori station which is served by the JR trains and the Chiyoda line metro train. You can directly get to Shinjuku in less than 30 mins. The same train can also take you to Shibuya. The hotel is close to late night gyudon restaurants and convenience stores. I stayed on the 2nd floor, and I was just right next to the washer/dryer. I wish I didn't bring as much clothes cause it was so convenient to do laundry. The room is nothing fancy, but clean and adequate. I like that there's a switch for all the lights in the room at the bedside. The front desk also provides free coffee and free ice cream. Staff was friendly. Latest late checkout is only up to 2pm, with extra fee. I will definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

This hotel was clean and continently located in Tokyo. It was affordable which is why we chose it but it was very conveniently located a 4 minute walk from the Nishinippori JR station which was great for getting around Tokyo.

Wonderful staff and unique neighborhood. If you can tolerate some train noise this is a quaint place to stay near AirPort Express route. My room had a cool little patio which would be fun in warmer weather. Super close to Nishi Nippori JR station.

You can get many one-time personal care items in the lobby (face cream, toner, face wash, earplugs, etc.). You do not need to bring any face care, which is super convenient! You can enjoy free coffee and ice cream in the lobby. There are board games for rent. The room is spotless. It is very near to the station. Only one 7-11 near the Hotel. I hope to have more choice. I am happy with this Hotel!

There were many dining options and convenience stores, a gym, and the train station nearby. The Hotel Tokyo Trip was a pleasant stay. If/when we visit Japan again, we're definitely coming back!
When I first booked this hotel, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew nothing about the area beyond a quick check on google maps and a few reddit threads. Upon finding the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was small, but extremely inviting, and the man that helped us was super affable and quick to make us feel right at home. During check-in, we were offered water and popsicles, both of which were greatly appreciated after a long travel day! By the elevator was a table full of amenities, from tea bags to toothbrushes and everything in between. There was also a selection of toys to check-out for the duration of your stay. The room was VERY spacious with a large desk, two double beds, a comfy chair, and a table. The attached balcony spanned the length of the room and had equally comfortable furniture. The bathroom had plenty of space to tend to daily needs: The shower had fantastic pressure. The toilet was a bidet, which had many comfort options, including a heated seat. Great location close to Nishi-Nippori Station. Clean room, and nice working AC plus a rolling air purifier when it was so so hot and humid. Good-sized room. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants and konbinis nearby, and some 24h options too.

Near by Nishi-nippori JR station, 7-11, and Aeon market, very convenient. In other words, you hear noise from train as well at night. It still be a good choice if you expect price and convenience in the balance.

The room was big enough and all 4 suitcases were stored inside with no problem. The coffee was very good, just no breakfast but it’s ok. The location was a minute from the train, which is very nice. The train sounded like the AC went on quickly.
