Excellent location close to bus/train and riverside market area. Comfortable room, nice amenities, fun onsen experience on top floor. Excellent stay at Hotel and Spa Gift Takayama, perfect for a first time visit to Takayama. The location is great, super close to the train station as well as the main historical streets and great restaurants. Great amenities with a rooftop onsen after a day of sightseeing. Service was top class with super helpful staff, during the stay but also after, as I forgot something in our room and they went above and beyond to help me find it back despite servaral hours after check-out. All in all a great stay in Takayama.

My family LOVED this place. The room was very large, clean, with excellent views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the public baths. It was nice soaking in the mineral waters after a long day walking. It relaxed my muscles. Breakfast was really good, too. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!!!

The Double room is very tiny, and there’s a step to get into the shower. Not very safe. We upgraded the room, and it wasn’t very big either but the bath is the same level. In all rooms, mattresses are hard. Breakfast variety is more limited than in other hotels we’ve been to in the area, and not many western choices.

We stayed in the SUITE which was huge. It included 2 queen beds a separate living room And dining room. We loved the extra space. It was far better than we expected. The hotel is super convenient -walking distance to all major sights in Takayama. We enjoyed our stay !

We only stayed for 3 nights, but it was generally fine. Nice size room, only downside is the door to the actual room must be very thin as we could hear EVERYTHING out in the hallway. Front desk were kind to lend us umbrellas. We didn’t have any meals at the hotel, so can’t comment on the restaurant.

I upgraded our room to the suite and it was extremely large and spacious with 2 queen beds and a living room area We loved having the extra space as we were there for 4 days. The hotel was walking distance to most major sites We were extremely happy with our hotel stay.

The hotel is in great location and this is my second time staying here for this year . The service is gotten worse they are overwhelmed with guests When I check in the staff was rude and condescending . I sprained my ankle on the way over here and asked for ice she said there is no ice in the hotel which is not true there is an ice machine on top Floor . I had to hop over family Mart store in pain to get ice . They are incompetent and extremely rude . I will never stay at this hotel again

Very nice property and very clean. Close to the train station easily walkable with luggage . Close to the historic district. Only issue was the restaurant. You cannot just walk in like a normal hotel restaurant you need to reserve one day in advance. But nobody told us.

Eigentlich ein schönes Hotel; Unsere Gruppe wurde leider bei den Speisen betrogen: Wir haben gegen grossen Aufschlag ein Luxus-Abendeseen Kaiseki gebucht. Am Abend wurde uns erklärt, das Management und das Küchenkonzept hätten sich geändert, es wurde ein normales Halbpension-Menu serviert. Eine Rückzahlung das Aufpreises wurde kategorisch verweigert. Insgesamt ein komplett unfähiges, völlig überfordertes Management. 実際、素敵なホテルです。残念ながら、私たちのグループは食事でだまされました。高額な追加料金を払って豪華な懐石料理の夕食を予約しました。夕方には、経営陣とキッチンのコンセプトが変更されたと告げられ、通常のハーフボードメニューが提供されました。追加料金の返金は断固拒否されました。全体として、完全に無能で、完全に圧倒された経営陣。

很近高山JR站及飛濃巴士總站，早步行去宮川朝市5分鐘左右路程，房間空間很大，晚上有提供免費茶漬飯宵夜，樓上有公眾浴場，浸完温一星期泉之後有免費雪條，樓下地下大堂亦有提供免費咖啡，唯一缺點就是房內的廁所比較高，好像每次上廁所都要行一級大樓梯。
