Holiday Inn Chicago O'Hare - Rosemont by IHG

Very modern and clean. Amazing and helpful staff. Fully appreciate the 24/7 shuttle service to the airport as we need a 5:00 am ride!

The bed and linens were very nice, as was the room. They had a shuttle. There was a bar, restaurant and coffee stand by the lobby.

One staff member was very rude and unhelpful when asking questions about booking or parking, did not get name the other girl was lovely but one of the front desk ladies acted like I was the dumbest person on earth for asking basic questions on the phone before arriving and in person. Also airport shuttles were very limited and that was not disclosed prior to arriving. They could supposedly only fit so many guests at a time but when we did shuttle at 4 am cause that was supposedly the only time they could accommodate us the shuttle was not near as full as they made it seem. Other hotels I’ve stayed at near O’Hare have shuttles run every 15 minutes or so this was the only place I’ve been to thus far where you needed to reserve a time ahead of time and where they ran on a half hour basis. Don’t stay if you want secure transportation. Rooms were clean and nice just wish they had better travel accommodations and nicer staff.

Nice clean hotel. The swimming pool water was a little cold. But overall nice place to stay

Only one of the three elevators was working, and you have to pay for parking during your stay. The room was nice and clean.

The location is great from the airport. Shuttle service is good but only to terminal 2, after that, you need to take the train for other terminals

The front desk staff was mid and not super helpful. There was an additional fee for parking that was not advertised nor was it secure to warrant an additional fee when there was a lot right out in front of the hotel. Overall, however, the hotel was clean and we enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant.

Pictures not representative of rooms. We got suite room- no table and obviously stained carpet in many areas. Bathroom door didn’t even latch and would just roll open.

The stay was not pleasant. The rooms were very dirty and had bugs. The toilet needed to be bolted down

Amazing Hotel, so clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend. Was a little more expensive compared to others around but we were going to be there for a while. The lovely lady at check-in upgraded us to an airport view :) Handy location to rental car return place, we checked in, then I dropped off the car and walked back. We also walked up to Outback Steakhouse for a nice dinner. Good shuttle service in the morning. Would stay again

The room was generally fine but the carpet had a lot of stains and didn't seem too clean.

Close to the airport and clean. However, our room smelled strongly of smoke, the a/c isn’t fully functioning and the room phone is out of order.

Room was dated and dusty. Needed to be properly cleaned. The ice machine seemed to be broken on the floors we were told to get ice. Lots of garbage left outside the doors by other guests. Hallway reeked of weed from guests smoking in their rooms. Just a very basic hotel.

The room was clean but the bathtub had a chip in the plaster. The packing was $20 a day so I parked outside with no issues. There are many restaurants to choose from in the area. The swimming pool was decent. I wasn’t able to control the volume for the tv and the blind was broken. The manager was very nice and accommodating since I arrived late.

Great staff. Great location. Clean and had everything I needed. Internet issues / tv entire stay. Staff moved me to see if that would help w Service. Bad internet and tv reception in and out no matter where I was. Front desk worked hard to compensate.

Woken by LOUD people from the adjoining room at 1am and again at 3am - rooms have thin walls to allow such noise to wake us as we are sound sleepers.

This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn overall, but I would certainly do it again. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, I was able to check in early! The shuttle to the airport leaves every 30 minutes, so that’s very convenient. The restaurant downstairs is delicious, too so that’s a plus. The bed is huge and has very comfortable pillows. My only “complaint” is that the pool area was too muggy. There’s no ventilation but I still enjoyed the pool. The water was nice and cold. Overall, a perfect stay!

The room we stayed at was very clean however the air conditioner was extremely noisy.

Airport and outside noise was incredibly loud. The noise in the hallways was loud. Seems there could be more insulation for sure.

The property does have a nice modern aesthetic and is pleasant looking. The bathroom door is a sliding door and it was difficult to open as well as it has a very chincy lock that you can tell is damaged. The photos of the outdoor patio space definitely made it appear nicer than it actually is but was still at least pleasant. Check in staff seemed a little offputting and slightly pushy to get me going when I was asking questions. Breakfast is not complimentary and is quite expensive but there are nearby options to eat still. Overall seemed a little bit overpriced for the stay.

Would have given it 5 stars but hot eater literally took 5 minutes to get to.the faucet. No joke. When will American hotels get on demand hot water? Crazy

Check in was good, room was clean. TV did not work, called the front desk they did not send anyone to the room to look at. So no TV all night and morning still nothing.

Everything from our check in to check out and airport transportation was literally the SMOOTHEST and most hospitality driven that I have ever experienced as a seasoned traveler! Would highly recommend this place to any of my friends or travelers for conventions or just to take in the downtown Chicago sights. All of the staff was extremely kind and pleasant from the front desk staff, housekeeping and shuttle staff! 10/10 and 5 stars all around! Thank you again for such an amazing stay!

Michelle was absolutely a gem. Despite a few issues, I had she was exceptionally understanding. She accommodated to the best of her ability and it was the reason I stayed the entire time instead of leaving early.

Staff was rude about not being able to find my reservation in their system o showed him my hotel .com confirmation email and he even found a print out of my reservation but because it wasn’t in the system he didn’t want to check me in. Then another staff member told him to register me and to honor my reservation. I reserved a king and he kept insisting I reserved a what was available room which was not true my reservation shows king size bed. After about 30 min of back and for the with this gentleman o was finally given the room I reserved and paid for

I recently booked a room at this Holiday Inn due to unexpected flight delays, so this was not a leisure trip but rather a stressful situation we did not anticipate. Unfortunately, the experience started off on a bad note. The booking agent was not only disrespectful but also used a derogatory term that was deeply upsetting in an already tense situation. When we arrived, the hotel staff inside did their best to make our party feel welcome. The service within the hotel was warm and professional, and our room was clean and comfortable, which provided some much-needed relief. However, the shuttle service to and from O’Hare Airport added more stress. Beyond timing issues, the behavior of the shuttle staff was also unprofessional and unsettling. I witnessed name-calling and derogatory remarks directed at passengers. The drivers seemed unfamiliar with the hotel location, repeatedly asking for the full address, including the zip code, and becoming visibly frustrated when passengers could not provide it. At one point, a driver even raised their voice, which added unnecessary stress to an already challenging day. I reached out to the IHG customer service afterward, but their response left me disappointed. While the service within the hotel itself was wonderful, I would advise future guests to be cautious about the booking and shuttle experiences.

Both of my airport shuttles drivers were two of the top, professional hotel airport shuttle drivers I have ever met. They were prompt, had great communication and made me feel at ease with the transfer. The receptionist were friendly and helpful and my room was quiet and comfortable. I had to stay overnight due to a flight cancelation and I was a little distraught about this, but this stay made the long lay over nice.

The van driver guy Freddy was awsome, provided excellent ride service for my family and I, he was really friendly and helpful, very professional

I stay there whenever I travel international. I fly back and forth several times a year. Before I take a domestic flight from O'Hare to my final destination, I stay overnight. I have always found the staff to be professional, accommodating and knowledgeable. The shuttle service and driver are excellent and the hotel has onsite dining as well as nearby off-site options.

Shuttle driver passed me by after seeing me wave. When I caught up to him, he told me that he was going on his lunch break soon that’s why he didn’t stop. Front desk at hotel staff was very rude. Every time the toilet flushed in the room next door, the water would run in my room! Works experience ever with this hotel.

I stay here every time I fly through Chicago and need an overnight. It is usually very fair priced. The restaurant is always good and certainly fair priced with a hotel issued discount card. Staff is very helpful. The 24 hour free airport shuttle is a real benefit and one of the main reasons I choose this property.

Stayed at the Hiliday Inn to go to a concert at Allstate Arena. Perfect location for that ( walking distance). Lots of typical dining options around. Friendly staff.

Great stay near the airport for an early flight.

Super nice and convenient hotel, right next to the airport multiple food options near and walking distance. Gas station across the street can’t get any better than this!

It is possible to walk from or to the rental car center though not many do it. There are also eating options within walking distance. My bathroom drain didn’t drain so those were the only points off

The hotel was wonderful. I would have liked if the restaurant land and lake was opened later. Restaurant food was excellent. All staff well trained and courteous. Comfortable stay and we liked being close to O’Hare airport to watch planes land.

A nice airport hotel, however the restaurant closes at 9 pm for an international airport is shocking

We got in late, but check-in was quick and smooth. Since we had an early flight, we were hoping to eat an early breakfast, but the restaurant wasn't open yet. But we were able to get coffee and breakfast sandwiches from the barista at the coffee bar and she was fantastic.

Helen was so helpful. We very much liked being able to have our meals at the hotel - early morning coffee to dinner after a long day

The beds and linens were very comfortable. I wasn’t very impressed with the Land and Lake restaurant. Service was slow and the food was like what is served at a free hotel breakfast - the eggs didn’t seem like fresh eggs and the toast had to be sent back to be toasted. Coffee was $4 a cup!
