Overall good stay, however, we were initially double charged for our room but was it was corrected when I brought up that we had pre-paid. The parking situation is not ideal with Energizer having most of the good parking spots in the parking garage so you’ll likely have to park on level 2 or 3.

Our family of five had a great long weekend in St. Louis with the hotel as a homebase. It is close to public transportation, easy to walk around Clayton, but parking is an extra charge per night if you bring your own car.

The hotel is super clean and very spacious room. Location is safe and just 10 mins from St Louis downtown. There are lot of good restaurants like Ocean Bistro to enjoy. Breakfast had lots of varieties hot and cold option. 24 hrs coffee and tea. Bar is open till 11pm. They have big fitness center, extra restroom in 2nd floor and water fountain. Parking I did is valet you just have to park in front of hotel and they will park for you. Check in and checkout was smooth.

The room was larger than average and very clean. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the fitness area had plenty of updated equipment and dumbbells. It’s clearly a newer hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is new and clean in a good location. However there was no parking in front of the hotel to get checked in. Come the parking garage you have to walk through the dark alley around to the front as the hotel keys do not allow for side access. Once I got back to the hotel, shortly before 8 pm the bar was already closed. I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel and room were clean, well maintained and attractive, but..... Parking SUCKED! Poor explanation of parking situation in what I guess is a shared parking garage. Very inconvenient. Saw other people who had checked in and couldn't figure how to get back to the hotel from their vehicle.

The hotel itself is great, but the parking garage may need a bit of renovation. Or, to be more precise, they may want to make sure that their guests do not have to suffocate (due to the dust emitted from the construction) or have their hearing impaired (due to the loud drilling of walls or something) while walking from the hotel to their car (as part of the garage is under construction).

Very nice room, but had a horrible sewage smell. Management sent maintenance to spray air freshener instead of giving me another room. Smelled so bad I had to sleep on the sofa instead of the bed. Only thing they did was comp my parking. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are large and clean, the breakfast is better than usual, and if you get a room facing the park the views are incredible. That said, there are some things to be aware of. First, the hotel allows dogs. Personally, I like dogs, but I don’t like getting woken up at 7AM by a relentlessly barking dog that another guest has left in their room while they’ve gone to breakfast, which is what happened to me during my most recent stay. Second, the rooms facing the back look out into a parking lot, so try to get a room facing the park if you can. Those are brighter and have a beautiful view. All in all, this hotel deserves 5 stars - and if you want to bring your dog I highly recommend it. For anyone traveling on business or needing to sleep without being disturbed, beware of dog!

Staff is pleasant and responsive. Reserved two double suites that were supposed to have pull out bed but discovered very late at night that the sofas did not have the promised pull out beds. Too late to do anything about it but if yoh are counting on the pull out sofa bed, yoh might want to check. Room was very spacious and clean. Area is very clean and safe. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Average hotel in a nice part of town. Room was spacious but not well thought out. No hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes. The remote control for blinds was not working. Thermostat not user friendly. No locker provided in the room!! The front staff couldn't be bothered to help you.... Safe to say would never stay at this property ever

The room was gorgeous except we booked two beds and only received a single king. The staff didn’t try to remedy instead called back to the room to say they need me to come down to provide a card for incidentals, which should’ve been done when checking in. I provided the card to later be called TWICE at 9:30 at night to ask for the card, even though I already came down. They had what they needed but tell me why they were calling so late. The staff is rough but the hotel is beautiful.

Night shift front desk people were horrible and you had to walk 3football fields just to get to parking then our key card never let us out and had to keep parking again and going to get some one to meet us at gate,,,,was pathetic

The check-in experience was extremely unsatisfactory. We arrived shortly after midnight to find the overnight clerk gambling on his phone. He was rude and dismissive throughout the process. Despite having prepaid over two weeks ago through a third-party service, the clerk demanded that I insert my card without providing any explanation for the charges. When I inquired about the amount, he reacted with frustration and claimed he had to restart the process multiple times, which was not my fault. His unprofessional behavior continued as he insisted a full night's payment was due at check-in, even though I had already paid online. He refused to review the receipt and became increasingly agitated when I questioned his rudeness. It was only after he put his phone down and properly checked his screen that he acknowledged our prior payment. This made for a terrible check-in experience. However, the morning staff was exceptionally kind and professional, offering a stark contrast to the overnight clerk. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious.

This was a last minute stay. I made the reservation from the street in front of the hotel. What a wonderful place. The staff was amazing. From the front desk to the valet to housekeeping. And they are pet friendly, i had my favorite travel partner with my, my lab mix Lilly. She loved the room also!

The staff seemed harried, irritable and understaffed. I asked for an ice bucket and it arrived an hour later. Some staff did not understand, and could not speak, English. I understand Covid staffing issues, but this was ran very much like a "self-service" hotel, but the rates don't reflect this.

A very nice property in normal weather We were there Jan 12-15 during a cold spell the lobby was freezing all weekend, the thermostat in the fitness center read 56 on Saturday and Sunday No half and half sat or sun or Monday No beer at the lobby store and the bar was not open on a playoff Sunday A good manager would have walked down the block (as I had to do in minus 5 weather) and purchased half and half for the breakfast room and lobby coffee bar and beer for sale at the store (which did have wine) It does not cut it to say for 3 days “we did not get a delivery” when there is a Strawbs a block away!
