Very nice and clean! The property is newly renovated. There's two things that could use help. The water pressure was low and the parking lot needs repaving. I do not wear shoes indoors; but here I had to because the amount of dirt tracked in from the parking lot. However, the price was right and I will stay here again if visiting Baton Rouge.

My stay was comfortable and amazing. I booked based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. Brand new, cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Mattress was new but the pillows were amazing. Slept like a rock! My room was large, had a full kitchen with stove, large refrigerator, sink and a kitchen table with chair. Bathroom was beautiful. What I really liked was that you could park right in front of your room door. That is extremely convenient for me when on my business trips. Grateful I found this little place. The owner is friendly but firm on what he expects from his tenants. They are doing great things at the Budget Inn. Felt totally safe while I was there. Outside is probably a work in progress situation. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Wonderful little place I will be staying at when I'm in the area on business trips.

Absolutely one of the best places I’ve stayed … Super clean, bed was incredibly comfortable.. The owner obviously is skilled as he did the renovations himself. I originally chose this place based on the fact that it has a full size refrigerator so I could store the frozen items I was carrying.. the price was fantastic as well. Mom& Pop motels are being swallowed by by corporate American… but this places remains a small beacon of honest work and authenticity.

My room was exceptionally clean and newly remodeled!! It was complete with everything you need to cook (except food) of course. Management was phenomenal!! Let us know how and where he could be reached. This motel is located in an older part of town, but it Close to anything you may need!! I will stay here again!!

Super clean room, has a lot of equipment: fan, fridge, stovetop, sink for dishes, tv, etc. I didn't like the feeling of bedding, so I took a blanket to sleep on it. And a neighbor from the next room was listening TV all the night.

I was on the road 45 days and stayed in many motels during that time and this was my favorite room. Newly remodeled ( not just a spit shine. This was floor to ceiling new ) it had a full size refrigerator & a full sized sink. PJ the owner was on site, attentive, & available anytime. I could park outside the room and keep an eye my antique vehicle. I thought I was only staying one night but my business kept me overlong so I checked back in for a second night. Great value for the price.

Guest service was first class. The room looked new and was ULTRA clean in appearance and smelled clean - no chemical cover up. The price made this stay the best lodging bargain I’ve found in years! I would definitely want to stay hear again.

Rooms are completely renovated & very nice. Exterior is a bit rough,but it’s been there a long time. It’s near shopping and restaurants. It’s on a main highway, but my room was very quiet. The owner was very polite and personable. Parking is very close to your room. I’ve stayed a lot of places & for the price, this was a good deal! I’ll definitely stay there again.

This was a great 3 night stay overall …the room was freshly remodeled and absolutely spotless. The bed was super comfy the shower was hot and the a/c was cold. The neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired…nothing much to eat around there but there is a kitchen so bring your own food. The owner was very nice and attentive. If you just need the basics …this is a great choice! Perfect for my business trip to BR !

very nice surprise! exterior is plain and non-descript. rooms, however, are another story. recent remodel and was very nicely done. rooms are clean, modern, nicely maintained and comfortable. the staff was super helpful. all at a very reasonable price. will be staying here again as a preferred choice in this area. only suggestions would be a light/usb connection on the nightstand and a sheer on window for privacy .... but, this is nitpicking. recommend this property as a great value facility without reservation!!

I booked the room last minute and really late, they were extremely accommodating and courtesy with service. The surrounding area is a little sketchy but the inn itself is lit really well. The room had all the necessities I needed for a night stay, comfortable bed, fluffy and supportive pillows, AC unit that can be adjusted to liking, a small dining table, a microwave, a mid size refrigerator, and a clean bathroom.

PJ and the property was great. I arrived at 1am and PJ communicated perfectly via text and made sure I was taken care of, even though it was very late. And he was there to check me out early in the morning. Truly great service.

Cleanest motel room I have ever experienced bar none! Would stay again for this fact alone. Owner/property manager was most accommodating giving us a larger kitchenet room on arrival as a unsolicited upgrade. Some reviewers have noted Hwy 190 neighborhood as a negative. As well managed as this facility is and the cleanliness of the room would have to say this to be for our use a non issue. The facility parking is secure with only one access point in or out. Very safe. If you are looking for a exceptionally clean room and a bargain stay this is it!
