Tailwinds is the model of a B&B. The hosts, Janet and Trevor, provide stellar comfort, amenities, and service. It’s a beautiful property, with a lot of places to relax and chill. Tailwinds is a short walk to Hillsburgh and the locals are friendly! We’ll definitely be back!

It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast which was included was fresh, filling and delicious. The owners are fantastic people! The area is beautiful with a view of the pond and the trees changing colour.

We were attending a family wedding in the area so booked this exceptional B&B. The home was lovely, the bedroom spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was to die for, and the host was lovely. The grounds are spectacular. They were wonderful to allow us to bring our service dog. All in all a wonderful experience. Would book again if we are in the area.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful mini-vacation here! The bathroom was downright luxurious - though shared, which did make for some uncertainty - and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, we had a very relaxing time staying there, everything felt clean and organized, and the property and surrounding areas were gorgeous. Very much recommend!

Janet & Trevor were lovely hosts! It was a beautiful property, close to the Trans Canada trail. The room was incredibly comfortable and equipped with all the amenities. Breakfast each morning was a delicious variety. One night they even treated me to a lovely bonfire. Hosts were lovely and very knowledgeable about the area.

We stayed for 1 night at this property. Check in was easy and instructions left by the owners was straight forward. The snow was cleared from the walkways and driveway. We stayed in the room with the large king bed and onsuite bathroom. The room was clean and well stocked with supplies. The bathroom shower did have a crack in the metal hosing which needs to be replaced i think. The best part of the entire stay though was breakfast. A large selection of mini quiche, crossiant, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, etc. And the owners took our dietary needs into consideration.

Something we weren’t expecting was that despite being listed under “NOT a pet-friendly b&b” upon entering we immediately were greeted with an overwhelming dog smell. They own a large dog and the smell dominated the duration of the stay which lessened the experience for us.

I can’t wait to come back to the magnificent Tailwinds Bed & Breakfast! The scenery is gorgeous and THE MATTRESS IS AMAZING!! I felt right at home and totally comfortable. Our hostess was there at check in time, on dot with extremely detailed instructions. If ever I’m back in town, I will absolutely return for another stay. Highly recommend!

Was and amazing experience everything is amazing, the bed is very comfortable, the view outside i stunning, the rooms have everything you need the decoration are very personal. Breakfast was incredible, I asked for and early breakfast and the made me a breakfast to go. Was incredible. Exced my expectations. I will definitely come back.

could use more exterior lights. i arrived after sunset and the driveway was quite dark and inviting. During daytime it is very quiet and tranquil also, the bathroom is shared by other residents so that's kind of odd. all in all it's a good place to find rest

A beautiful stay! We felt very taken care of. The check-in/out process was casual and simple, as we were arriving later. The home was cozy and tidy. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer to check out more of the property and surrounding area.

Hosts very attentive to detail whether local restaurants, instructions or breakfast times/choices. Janet prepared bag lunches when needed to leave by 6:00 a.m. Beautiful, large bathroom, with only negative that it was shared with 3 rooms. However, only once was it busy for a few minutes when I wanted access. There was a small refrigerator/freeze available for guests. Breakfast items were very wholesome and of good quality with a variety of fruit, protein and carbs.

Was and amazing experience everything is amazing, the bed is very comfortable, the view outside i stunning, the rooms have everything you need the decoration are very personal. Breakfast was incredible, I asked for and early breakfast and the made me a breakfast to go. Was incredible. Exced my expectations. I will definitely come back.

The accomodations were excellent, beds were super comfortable, bathrooms were very large and clean, house was very nice. We opted for the express "to go" breakfast as we had to leave a bit early, and it was still amazing!!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful mini-vacation here! The bathroom was downright luxurious - though shared, which did make for some uncertainty - and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, we had a very relaxing time staying there, everything felt clean and organized, and the property and surrounding areas were gorgeous. Very much recommend!

Our vegan breakfast was truly amazing, thanks to Janet, the owner. It was scrambled tofu with peanut sauce, mimicking scrambled eggs, and potato, carrot, and walnut pancakes. Everything was delicious!

This is a beautiful property. The owners are wonderful. Great breakfast every day. There is an area beside the pond where guests can mingle with each other. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Lovely home in rural Ontario. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy and punctual. We left early in the AM and they accommodated us with breakfast to go. Overall, a short but sweet stay. Would recommend and repeat.
