Great check-in, clean room, plenty of hot water. Just wish there was a hot tub

The property was very clean and the breakfast was good. The gym was under renovation.

Very nice, well maintained, and comfortable HI Express. Only 15 minutes from downtown Lake Geneva, this was an affordable and enjoyable overnight stay. The salt water pool was unexpected and the workout room was terrific.

Quick check in and friendly staff. Exercise room was good. I wish they would have hot oatmeal for breakfast instead of instant oatmeal.

It was clean--easy to park and room keys worked every time. It was an enjoyable stay. Thank you!

We went to a concert at Alpine Valley. Holiday Inn was very convenient to this venue. Although we chose to drive ourselves they provided a shuttle bus for convenience.

Great stay for a good price & distance from Alpine Valley (Skii Resort). All staff super friendly, room clean, breakfast very appetizing especially for complimentary! ☺️ Only wish that the pool water was warmer. Will definitely stay again for our skii trips ☺️

Therevis no hot tub. The pool is extremely smallvand only good for parents with todlers. The wifi is awful. However the majority of the staff is helpful and very pleasant. If you need acplacecto stay with young children. This is the place to go. However if you are on a business trip or have teenagers who use a lot of wifi dont go here. You will only have issues and the manager will refusec to help and just transfers you to a service center that does nothing after you spend 2 hours on hold.

Our room was spotless. Hallways clean. Housekeeping does a wonderful job.

I was super disappointed. The room was not cleaned properly. There was garbage still on the floor underneath the edge of the bed. The floor was not vacuumed properly and when you walked your feet stuck to the floor where it made that sticky sound when you would walk. The key cards that we had continuously stopped working, which made us late to our competition by about 10 minutes because we consistently had to keep going back down to the desk to have the key cards reactivated. We didn’t even have our phones in our pockets while we had the cards. The black cover on the door where you scan your card kept falling off when you would close the door. I want a refund for the money that was spent to stay in this room.

Hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly. The hotel and our room were spotless - it smells clean as soon as you enter the front door. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Great location. Breakfast was good and simple! Room very clean . Didn’t know we would be in a handicapped accessible room - so shower was not what we expected but we made it work. Staff was very friendly.

Very nice set up in the rooms. Plenty of USB ports in convenient places. Nice shelf near big mirror with outlet. Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was updated, modern and very clean. Staff was very friendly. Awesome blackout shades and good lighting in the rooms. Room doors are very thin and neighbors could be heard so if there are very light sleepers this might be an issue but we had no problems. We would stay again for sure simply based on how clean everything was.

Very nice outside and inside appearance. Only issue I had was minor-when I shut the fan/air conditioner off, the room began to smell musty. Once I turned it back on it was fine. Probably just my room. Breakfast was great! Staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable

The response I was provided when I dealt with slamming of the doors and music/ running through the hallways for hours was ridicules. Only called down once after an hour plus listening to this at 1130pm the issue was never resolved and lasted until 2am.

The stay was very good. Problem was with the front desk. I arrived at 2 pm from Indiana after driving for 2 and half hours and the front desk told me that I have to pay $25 for early check in, which is not right. I have to go away and come back an hour later. That was totally in called for and I am a IHG member

Overall it was a lovely stay! Stayed in room 316, & it was very clean and comfortable! On the last night of my stay however, there was a wedding with a lot of guests staying overnight…there were several drunk people running up and down the hallways, talking loudly and slamming doors until well after 3am. I had to start work at 6am, so I was not a happy camper. Would have appreciated the staff keeping up with the noise levels for the other patrons of the hotel.

It looks like a soda can sprayed on the room wall near our door. I waited in line quite a while for the traveller in front of us to get checked in. My check in was very brief.

My overall rating is a 3 out of 5 based simply on the fact that we were sent to a room that was already being occupied!! Luckily we didnt walk in on someone but it was clear the room was being occupied. The next 2 days i constantly kept looking towards the door making sure nobody was walking in on us!!

Before check in on 7/26 I received a call from the hotel. They were out of the two Queen-sized beds I had reserved and asked if I would take a King sized room with “compensation “. It was late in the day, we needed a place to stay, so I agreed without asking what the compensation was, even though I would have much preferred my own bed and a good night sleep. When we checked in, I asked about the compensation, the clerk told me there wasn’t a manger available. I checked in twice the next day. No manager available to speak to, but was assured that it would be taken care of by checkout. So- checkout time comes. I don’t get a receipt because I booked through Expedia. I ask the clerk if my “compensation” has been applied…. Nope. I ask to talk to the manager. He goes around the corner and I hear him say that someone wants to speak to her. Two women just start laughing and one says, “oh boy”. I’m stunned because this whole thing was their idea in the first place. When she comes out (I don’t remember her name, I was feeling a little embarrassed that I was being made fun of), she has me explain the situation to her and she says, we’ll we can’t give you a full refund- ummm of course not. We worked up to a $40 total discount for the two nights we stayed. She said she would let Expedia know and I would receive the refund through them. As no surprise, no call to Expedia was made. Expedia’s service team is working on the claim, now. Extremely frustrating experience.

Nice hotel in a great location

Had an event in Lake Geneva and this was close. Price was reasonable. The place was EXTREMELY clean. Very convenient on and off I43. Lots of dining options within Doordash distance.

Very clean and quiet. I like that is off the beaten path from the area hustle and bustle.

Would stay again very clean and easy to get there not far from shopping and restaurants

This place was sort of out in the middle of nowhere, so it was safe feeling. Gps wasn't very reliable for getting there though

The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was very clean as well and the bed was more than comfortable. There is easy access from the freeway. The breakfast options were plentiful. We will definitely use this on future visits.

Disappointed with continental breakfast. No meat of any kind. “Omelet” was a 2-day old scrambled egg folded over a spoonful of minced ham and microwaved. The pancake machine wasn’t working. Front desk said sausage and bacon coming tomorrow and a new pancake machine was coming in 2 days. She was very sorry. Me too.

We arrived 20 minutes before check-in. The employee took our name and proceeded to check us in but then told us we were not able to check in at that time. When we returned, it took two employees about 10 minutes to process us. While I do not blame the employees, I think maybe better training is needed, especially for a sold-out weekend as I had overheard. Breakfast was mediocre. The pastries seemed old or dry and the eggs left a lot to be desired. Again, for the price of the room I was less than impressed with some of these things. One final note our room did have a smoke alarm signal the front desk. I’m glad they called immediately even though we discovered there was not smoke. However our room did not annunciate an alarm.
