Stayed 1 night

I chose this hotel mainly because of its location near my daughter’s doctor. We travel to this area about twice a month for her appointments and normally stay at another hotel nearby. I decided to give this one a try, but unfortunately, considering the price and our experience, I wish we had stayed where we normally do. The front desk clerk was pleasant when we first checked in. Later, we went to the lobby to get the pool table balls. Having things to do at the hotel was actually one of the reasons I chose this property—I try to make these trips a little more enjoyable for my daughter before her appointments. We stood at the desk waiting for over 15 minutes while the clerk was dealing with another guest, who appeared to be a military veteran, regarding paperwork for a tax exemption. I understand that hotel policies and proper documentation have to be followed, but the way the conversation was handled came across as unnecessarily rude and dismissive. When he finally got to us, he told us, “Oh, sorry, it closes in 10 minutes.” I explained that was fine and that we would make sure we were finished on time. While we played, he continued looking at his watch, which made us feel as though we were an inconvenience—even though we had just spent more than 15 minutes waiting at the desk. We played quietly, cleaned everything up, and returned the equipment right at 10:00. Had we been a group of loud kids causing problems, I could understand the concern. We weren't. We simply wanted

Stayed 1 night

The property was clean. Rooms are nice, nothing fancy. Great value. At this location, you have to pay for parking, which is ridiculous. Must be a Georgia/Atlanta area thing. I'd rather pay $5 more for the room versus the hassle. Road noise was a bit noticeable until about 10pm or so. Overall, I'd recommend staying here. Very helpful and friendly staff.
