Spent a night during a long drive to SLC. Room was decent and as expected from the property description. But what wasn't expected was the beautiful campground that's on the same property. It's peaceful and sits next to a river. I would stay at the campground next time.

The rooms are small but very well kept up. The bed was comfortable. When we opened the door in the bathroom it went out to a patio with chairs. It was easy to walk to the river. They setup a kid friendly movie after dark. served popcorn and cotton candy. I would definatly stay again.

I only stayed here for one night but I loved it!! The bathroom is a little small and a place to hang a hand towel would be good. The view of the river in the back and the ability to just sit on the chairs and relax is fabulous!! 10/10 will be coming back!

This is a perfectly nice roadside motel. The owners have clearly tried to keep things up to date. Not fancy, but clean. Comfy bed. Did not try the shower. Not located in town, but that made it less frenetic. Nice little stream in back. The A/c drowned out the road noise and (almost) the train noise. Unfortunately I could not find an ice machine in the morning, and there was no one around to ask.

You can tell they've done a lot of updating over the years and overall the rooms are really nice, especially given it's a motel. TVs are massive, which you never see at hotels or motels and they have an extensive cable package. The beds and recliners in the room are great and comfy and everything was very clean. The only downfall was that the showers/tubs didn't look super clean, although I think that's more to do with the fact that they're older. They've made great updates in the bathroom like the lighted makeup mirrors and toilets, it's just the tubs age that makes them look dirtier than they are. Good things to note: they give you a parking pass for one vehicle, not sure if there is a cost for more. Also, check out is a breeze, room keys are actual keys, you can hear the trains and highway from the rooms, and it's really close to Lava Hot Springs and a gas station.

The pictures online made this property look more appealing than it was. The bed qas very comfortable and there's a nice big tv, but the bathroom was tiny, with mineral scale covering everything and it just didn’t look clean. There was a weird smell in the room, like fake cleanser, but it wasn't pleasant. I wouldn't stay here again, even for the reasonable price.

What a beautiful property right on the Portneuf River! King size bed was super comfy. Everything was very clean. Checkin was easy. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local town and eateries. Biggest surprise, and most wonderful, was the white noise machine! What a great option. There is traffic noise but it slowed down later at night and with the machine i didn't really notice it! Thinking about returning with our camper because it was a great stay.

The property owner is clearly trying but attention to detail was poor. Toilet seat was broken, dirty, mismatched and missing cups/utensils. Patio was covered in debris. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Fire pit was nice at the end of the night.

It was your average hotel room. The water in the bathroom sink barely trickles out. Didn’t try the shower. It's in a nice location on the Portneuf River. Beach access is nice.

Room was very clean and cozy, large bathroom with a suprise door to the back camping ground wad a big plus! Fire pits and patio chairs are provided and a nice breakfast bar too. I plan to stay here again!

This was less than 5 minute drive from town and the municipal hot springs. They stay open until 11:00pm so we were able to go at night and again in the morning. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place. Room was clean and beds were good. Bonus fir ne was the garden behind my room. Make your breakfast and eat it in the sun by the river. Loved it! It is on a buzy road and trains come by. It did not bother me. It is close (by car) to the thermal baths and restaurants in the small town. Would come again.

What a beautiful property right on the Portneuf River! King size bed was super comfy. Everything was very clean. Checkin was easy. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local town and eateries. Biggest surprise, and most wonderful, was the white noise machine! What a great option. There is traffic noise but it slowed down later at night and with the machine i didn't really notice it! Thinking about returning with our camper because it was a great stay.

Overall it was fine. Not the nicest place for an actual hotel. Staff isn’t there very much to ask any questions. But very nice when they were there. The camp area seemed nice. The fire dancing one of the nights was pretty cool. The bathroom in our room for sure needs some help. Not a quiet place. You hear EVERYTHING.
