Very nice clean hotel, decent breakfast in the am, staff are nice, beds and pillows are comfortable. There are, however, some sketchy people around the area as it doesnt seem to be in the best area. Hotel itself seems safe. We stay there every year around Christmas and will continue to do so. I did notice the hotel had staff patrolling parking lot and cars Saturday night which was reassuring.

This hotel was perfect for a quick getaway! There was security outside and it was in a quiet location. Close to expressway and quick to get in and out of town. Breakfast is light, but everything was clean.

The hotel is under major renovations which was not disclosed when booking. Our room looked to have been half renovated. The fire sprinkler in the bathroom was covered in painters tape and painting was the only thing done in the bathroom that had been updated. There was no where to put the toilet paper, it was just sitting on the grab bar as we were in an accessible unit. There was tons of space which was great, but only one drawer to place personal items. The door to the outside of the room was not flush to the ground - it had major ridges which compromises security. The breakfast was just so so. I don’t think I’ve ever been to an hotel that didn’t have some kind of oatmeal. It was all located in the conference room due to the construction, but maybe once it’s done there will be more to offer. All of the front desk staff were very delightful and caring. Just the state of the hotel was not what we expected. With family in town, we need to find a place that we can return to and feel good about. Not sure this is the place.

That there was a security all night. We checked in like 3a when we arrived in San Antonio. It was assuring that there’s a security guard and we didn’t need to worry about our car.

Great stay. Very clean rooms. Good breakfast. Only two items of concern: First, very few parking spaces in front. Had to park in the back, which did not feel as safe. Second, police cars and fire truck were at the hotel when we arrived. On second day, police were on site again. We did not witness any activity, but this made us uneasy.

Great stay. Room was clean & staff is very friendly. Building looked new. PLENTY of hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast is modest but plentiful. Has a fried egg, sausage, bacon, toast, bagel, 3 types of cereal, juice variety, milk, yogurt, banana and waffles. None of the complaints in the comments are justified.

No comfort at these suites… breakfast was horrible, beds were like sleeping on stone slabs, TV didn’t work and customer service was the worst… Breakfast: tiny room where food is kept, bagels were old and stale. Kids had hands all over everything… coffee was watered down and really bad. Beds: as stated… hard as a rock! Would have been better off sleeping on the floor. TV: checked in Friday night and didn’t use the TV, Saturday morning (7AM) I turned it on to watch the news, half the screen was black. I went to the desk and reported this. The lady at the desk told me no one else had reported this issue, as if I was lying to her. I told her I was reporting it and would like it fixed right away. She told me that I was out of luck because they didn’t have any maintenance staff on the property in Saturday. About 30 min later she called my room and told me the manager was on his way to switch out the TV. (We had planned to watch movies in the heat of the day). By 2:00PM we gave up on the TV and took a nap with the Do not disturb sign on the door. At 2:45 a man came banging on our door dispute the sign. I told him we were asleep and he ignored the sign. The TV was finally got changed at 7:00 PM. TOO LATE TO ENJOY IT…

We were put in a handicap room right next to the front desk. The shower allows water on the floor which is a slipping hazard. Have to be careful getting out of the shower to prevent falling. There were a lot of stains on the carpet. Bed was comfortable with good pillows. The curtain did not have blackout so sun was bright in the mornings.

There was no bathtub. The shower had no shelf or cubby. The shower door by the faucet did not open so the cold water that came out first while you had to stand in there hit you. Cheap flimsy towels and not enough provided.

We stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights and the staff was awesome everyday. Rooms were clean and spacious. Our rooms were cleaned everyday with out us asking. Parking was nice, close and safe. Breakfast wasn’t bad either. Our second time staying there and we will be coming back.

Everything looked new and crisp. Bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was on the slim side. I didn't like that on our second day, housekeeping propped the door open when they came in and forgot to close it. Our room was open until 8pm when we came back in. Luckily, nothing was taken during all that time.

Rep that was working night shift on 3/21/25 woke us up at 130 am and 220am telling us to have our kids stop jumping. I advised the children were asleep and have been since 10 pm he kept insisting it was us only to find out he had the rooms mixed up.. compeltly unprofessional

Comfort Inn is a Great hotel always stay here when visitibg family. Amazingly clean, rooms are nice size with comfy beds and breakfasts are always fresh and hot. Maria the front desk clerk very professional and knowledgeable on lical happenings.

Everything was fine. The front desk lady couldn't be bothered the day we left and the beds were very hard. But I would stay here again and it was nice. The night shift clerk was very nice and friendly.

The hotel stay was great. No complaints. We arrived after dark so didn't see much of the area till early morning when se set off. Nearest gas station was sketchy at best. Some early morning characters that were giving off a really bad vibe. Stay strapped or gas up/grab snacks out of the immediate area.

We were visiting our son at Fort Sam Houston, and this place was conveniently just a short 5 to 10 minutes away depending on traffic. We arrived early and was able to check in so that was a plus. Our hotel room was clean and crisp, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean but was very heavily scented from some cleaning product (enough to give me a headache). Breakfast was not great. I visited midway through the time slot and there was not enough food for the number of guests, watery eggs, broken waffle dispenser, ran out of fruit, muffins, etc.

Spent five days in San Antonio and it was nice to know that I was going to get a restful sleep in my room. Bed mattress was just right for a good nights rest. Breakfast could have been better but most hotels have gone to the same food.
