This was my third visit, and the first one I was not 100% happy. Initially I had to change apartments, because the first one had been smoked in. The hall also smelled like cigarette smoke. The worst thing was the extremely loud music comming from the hotel bar, evening to 4:00 am at least. Also, trash cans in the bedroom were so little!

I travel globally. Call me biased but Asian hotels are the best when it comes to friendliness and the courtesy of the staff. Pretty good. Standards are good all around. The corridors of the floor could have been a bit cleaner, everything else was perfect. Buffet layout is great., selection, presentation and taste is great. Bar is great too. Definitely recommend, value for money, great place to stay

The breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean, and the gym was well stocked with weights and equipment. The room was spacious enough. I found the food ordered (pad thai and a sandwich) to be fair in quality. Overall, this is a great deal for the price.

A nightclub ! No surprise here because it is India. Third floor and railway side, you can see the terrase from your room. It starts gently and then quickly to maximum noise to punish you trying to get rest. Good place if you like nightlife eventually. Breakfast and dinner buffet feel like a chinese "all you can eat".

A newer and very clean property with amazing staff including the doormen Rabindra and Shankar (I didn't get the names of the other employees but they all deserve praise for their kindness). We would definitely stay here again.

The ceiling of the bathroom of the given room was full of mould. I refused to stay in that and they changed the room for me. But that room was not ready. I had to keep calling for everything from bath mat to shower gel. After they confirmed the be room being ready, I found they didn't give a single tissue. I stopped calling. The dinner and breakfast was average for a five star property. Live counters won't start before 8 am.

We really appreciated the excellent service and friendly approach by both Mithun and Ashik - both are just exceptional waiters with very pleasant dispositions. Our room was a bit dirty and the floor extremely dusty. This was not cleaned once during our stay which was disappointing. The hotel made a real effort for Diwali which was nice and generally is good but the rooms do need attention re their cleaning.

Our stay was ok. Debolina Roy was of big help getting us the right room. Night was disturbing from the next rooms, very noisy. At the restaurant we found Mithun who was very polite, helpful and did a good service.

House keeping staff are really good. If you ask them something they do it right away. I was traveling from Canada my day started in the afternoon with my situation they were respectful with that Yasmin & Raju..hope I said or remembered the name correctly…apologies if I didn’t. Kava breakfast was pretty good since, I was a solo traveler I use to chill…the staffs were nice enough to me & gave me my space at the same time. Subhajit took care of a special dinner really appreciate the thoughtfulness, Pappu for the best tea every morning, Mr Khan, two females at the reception with a warm smile. Second time long stay they have maintained their service. Thank you!

This was an excellent experience! The staff are simply excellent, food was great, room had a gorgeous view, everybody seemed to be willing to bend backwards to accomodate the needs of the guests which was so refreshing and gratifying. While everyone did a great job, a few names that really set examples of superb customer service were Subhrojit, Biswas, Yasmen and all front desk staff including aman and sindhu. Highly recommend a stay here, I will be coming back!

The Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata is a stunning property. I spent two nights there, and the rooms were beautiful and well-maintained. With so many various cuisines offered, the breakfast was fantastic. We had dietary restrictions, so the chef made sure the meal was prepared in accordance with them, and the dinner was quite tasty. The hotel is ideally situated in close proximity to the airport. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it to others.
