8 nights in November 2025. To set expectations right, my four-star rating is based on how well the property owners provided a three-star level of service. I think they did it pretty well. The only thing that I didn't like at all was the non-transparent window with armored glass. I have never seen such a thing. Maybe it is due to some Japanese law. Everything else is fine (again, this is just a three-star hotel), but with some "features," so be prepared: - Second-floor reception. You enter the building and find yourself in a tiny hall with a lift, no signs, nothing. Go to the 2nd floor. == Side note: They close the doors from midnight to 6 a.m. (if I recall correctly), so if you arrive late, call the hotel in advance to find out how to deal with this. - Check-in kiosk. Be prepared to go through a process of "enter this and press that" before it gives you a key. == Side note: They have a money-changing machine, but the rate is terrible. - Only one key per room, but you will find a key duplicator on the floor (1,000 Yen per duplicate). - Checkout kiosk - insert the key, and you are done. - Checkout at 10 a.m., but they provide a free storage service. - The room is not small; it is TINY. But it's well-organized. There are lots of USB ports, so there is no need to buy an adapter just to charge a phone or tablet. - I'm not sure if this is normal practice, but when we forgot to put the "please clean the room" sign on the door, they didn't clean it.

Don't use the washer/dryers. The machines work but thr dryer didn't dry my clothes at all. I spent 300 yen. 100/30 mins of drying and after waiting an hour, I switched dryers thinking maybe it was just my machine that was broken

Economical accommodation in a central location. This is a party area with lots of clubs and adult entertainment, but we stayed there with kids without feeling uncomfortable. This considered, it was surprisingly quiet in the rooms (we were on the top floor so maybe that helped). There were 4 of us in a room with two double beds. It was tight but not unbearable. Room could definitely do with a deep clean though. Limited English at reception but check in was automated and very straight forward. Coin operated laundry facilities are available onsite which is always helpful. Very close to the Kabukicho airport limousine bus stop (at a larger hotel).

2.5 Stars…In the heart of the action of Kabukicho. Basically the Japanese equivalent of a low cost hotel in Paris. Tiny space, have to climb over partner if sleeping two. Bathroom is some sort of prefab thing that is very efficient but very small only 1 person at a time and god help you if you are a large person. Staff can’t speak english very well but just enough to get by, despite them telling you no English and being 100% a tourist hotel… check in and checkout is very easy done completely at the machine without need for human interaction. Not a bad place to stay if you just need a place to stay for the nights and want your own bedroom but not much further than that. It has air conditioned rooms at least!!!

there was bags of trash all along the hallway and outside our room door, we told the front desj and they said they would not do anything about it until the nect day when the maids cleaned. whole hotel smelled disgusting and room walls were yellow and the beds were not even made nicely. DO not spend ur money here seriously disgusting place.

Do not come to this hotel. First, it is located in a nightlife sector, very loud at night (Screaming and loud cars). Second, the hotel staff does not allow luggage storage. Third, there is stains everywhere on the carpet with a foul odor. Fourth, we paid for a non-smoking room. It couldn’t have been more obvious that the previous renters smoked in it. Lastly, there was mold on the shower curtain.

This hotel is a complete dump. Rooms very visibly soiled with mold, blood and a large vomit or liquid stain of some description that melted the carpet. You are required to pay in full before seeing the room and there is no reasonable recourse from the hotel (zero recourse) or Expedia ($100 in points)for checking out early due to deplorable sanitary conditions. This hotel needs to be removed from Expedia and no one should have to stay in such a dirty place.

여행 중 짐만 두고 잠만 잘 생각으로 저렴한 곳으로 예약했어요. 처음 들어갔을 때 창틀이나 테이블 위에 먼지가 조금 쌓여있고 담배냄새가 좀 심했는데, 다음날 하우스키핑 요청 자석을 문에 붙이고 다녀오니 먼지 문제는 해결되고, 담배냄새는 비치 된 냄새제거 스프레이로 어느정도 해결되었어요. 청소한지 좀 된 방이었던듯 해요. 지배인으로 보이시는 분은 한국말을 조금 하실 줄 아셨던 부분이 조금은 편안했어요. 화장실에 비치된 어메니티는 피부 트러블 걱정 없이 생각보다 잘 썼어요. 특히 일회용 면도기는 간단하게 플렉서블 기능이 있어서 상처없이 잘 사용했네요. 체크인-체크아웃을 기계로 처리하고, 특히 체크이웃은 기계에 룸카드를 반납하면 자동 체크아웃이 되어서 편했어요. 가격 생각하면 엄청난 컨디션을 요구하는게 무리라고 생각되서 가격대비 그럭저럭 짐 두고 잠 자는 기능에는 무리없는 곳이었어요.

Foi alugado um quarto não fumante, ao adentrar o quarto ele tinha um cheiro forte de cigarro, e ao sair do hotel todas minhas roupas estavam com cheiro. O banheiro não era bem limpo, o ralo estava com sujeira, cabelo na banheira em grande quantidade Os funcionários tentaram porém não conseguiram resolver

Great location right in Shinjuku and close to many train stations. The hotel was fairly loud, not due to street noise/busyness but due to the baseball batting range across the street that is open until the early morning. Limited toiletries and amenities compared to other hotels in this price range that we experienced in Japan. Room size was as expected for Tokyo. Aside from location, not great value for the price, we would stay elsewhere next visit.

The property was as advertised - clean, with a wider-than-twin bed (possibly a full-size), although it would have been difficult with anything larger than a carryon-rollaway suitcase. Unlike other hotels in the area, there is no under-bed storage for your suitcase. The room has a decent microwave, water boiler, cube refrigerator, AC and a TV (which I didn't use). There were also slippers for the unit, although they were small for me (size 8.5) and were vinyl and not too comfortable. That said, I still used them since the carpet is dark and hard to tell how clean it was. The curtain is a blackout curtain; fully closed, you will block out pretty much all external light. This was super-effective for sleeping in. The bathroom was a little cramped - it felt like a cruise ship bathroom with the sink nearly over the toilet. The single shallow shelf is above the toilet, so I recommend keeping the toilet seat always closed lest you risk having stuff fall in. The shower was adequate, and the room came with a set of body soap / shampoo / conditioner. The one chief drawback of the place is that the walls are thin - soundproofing is minimal, especially from other units. I could feel the occasional bump (of someone hitting their own wall). Hallway noise is also noticeable when someone's walking by or when someone else is knocking on a door several units away. That said, for this price, this was a pretty good hotel for 1.
The property was as advertised - clean, with a wider-than-twin bed (possibly a full-size), although it would have been difficult with anything larger than a carryon-rollaway suitcase. Unlike other hotels in the area, there is no under-bed storage for your suitcase. The room has a decent microwave, water boiler, cube refrigerator, AC and a TV (which I didn't use). There were also slippers for the unit, although they were small for me (size 8.5) and were vinyl and not too comfortable. That said, I still used them since the carpet is dark and hard to tell how clean it was. The curtain is a blackout curtain; fully closed, you will block out pretty much all external light. This was super-effective for sleeping in. The bathroom was a little cramped - it felt like a cruise ship bathroom with the sink nearly over the toilet. The single shallow shelf is above the toilet, so I recommend keeping the toilet seat always closed lest you risk having stuff fall in. The shower was adequate, and the room came with a set of body soap / shampoo / conditioner. The one chief drawback of the place is that the walls are thin - soundproofing is minimal, especially from other units. I could feel the occasional bump (of someone hitting their own wall). Hallway noise is also noticeable when someone's walking by or when someone else is knocking on a door several units away. That said, for this price, this was a pretty good hotel for 1.

Overall the area hotel was great. The stuff was friendly to us. They even help me get my lost passport from the airport by traducing and giving the airport staff the correct mailing address of the hotel. The rooms are big enough for two people. If you want anything bigger, spent more and go somewhere else. But for the price, I believe this is okay. The area around the hotel gets so busy and dirty at night. Honestly the dirtiest part from all of Tokyo. It so much youth and tourists. It’s s like Times Square, but 10 cups of espresso coffee on an empty stomach. But again, some people are really into this type of environment. I’m from NYC, so i already have plenty of this in my life on a daily basics lol

2.5 Stars…In the heart of the action of Kabukicho. Basically the Japanese equivalent of a low cost hotel in Paris. Tiny space, have to climb over partner if sleeping two. Bathroom is some sort of prefab thing that is very efficient but very small only 1 person at a time and god help you if you are a large person. Staff can’t speak english very well but just enough to get by, despite them telling you no English and being 100% a tourist hotel… check in and checkout is very easy done completely at the machine without need for human interaction. Not a bad place to stay if you just need a place to stay for the nights and want your own bedroom but not much further than that. It has air conditioned rooms at least!!!

The cleaning staff are super nice, everytime I left my room they would say hello and offer to change my towels or take my trash even if I had chosen not to get my room cleaned. The front desk staff treat you like a chore plain and simple. Rooms are tiny, really tiny, you get what you pay for. Room I got had water stains on the roof. If you want to just have a place to store your stuff and pass out in after everything closes this is the place. The park next to the hotel was cool, they had a month long food expo. There were nicer hotels in the same area, please look at those instead of this place.

The hotel was fairly loud, not due to street noise/busyness but due to the baseball batting range across the street that is open until the early morning. Limited toiletries and amenities compared to other hotels in this price range that we experienced in Japan. Room size was as expected for Tokyo. Aside from location, not great value for the price, we would stay elsewhere next visit.

Clean & comfortable room, on the smaller side, ok if you are just there to sleep. Central to the party district, right above a 7-11. Not family friendly area at all as the area is swarming with party goers and just generally is in the red district area. Walking distance to movies, restaurants and shops.

Our stay for the first week of June was met with hesitation. Reception staff was poor, unwelcoming by two young girls who appeared disinterested. Room 415 had several walls that were poorly patched (like by unprofessionals). One wall appeared to have had a television on it, then removed, but the wall was poorly patched, no new sheetrock or professional patching or painting on it. We were very disappointed and will probably avoid using Expedia again. Later, the reception desk was manned by an older fellow and he took an interest in assisting me with obtaining change for the washing machine. The outside of the property had broken stantions, no plants where there was dirt.
