The Knot Hotel in Hiroshima is located in walking distance from the Peace Park with the Memorial Museum, the Hiroshima Castle and the Shukkeien Japanese Garden as well as a big shopping area with many good restaurants around it. The reception is located at the 14th floor. Rooms are clean and small but sufficient. We didn't use the restaurant at the hotel. At the roof top bar on the 14th floor guests can buy a free drink using tokens provided by the hotel. Parking is possible at a stacking garage accessible from the back alley. Personnel from the reception will assist to get your car in and out. All in all the hotel is run efficiently.

Wonderful hotel close to attractions. Room was clean and laundry was convenient. Great shower pressure. There is a great restaurant on the ground floor and a nice rooftop bar. Only complaint is that they limit you on how low you can set the temperature in the room (limit is 22 degrees Celsius) so room felt a bit warm.

Location was great. Very close to street cart or train you can take directly from the Hiroshima Station to the hotel. I felt it was centrally located.Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and beds were very firm, if you like that, great. I didn’t care for it. Hotel is a little outdared but it didn’t bother us, just thought I would mention it. Hotel gives you tokens you can use for snacks or drinks at the bar. A nice touch. Laundry room was small but I was able to get in to wash two loads and you don’t need to buy detergent. Restaurant at hotel offered a great buffet. Restaurant open for lunch and dinner. We enjoyed our stay. Hiroshima was great.

Brilliantly located just over the road from the Peace Park and minutes from a bus stop. A bit confusing when you arrive because Reception is in the bar on the 14th floor but, once over that hurdle, all pretty good. Our twin room was a good size (for Japan) with an awesome shower. Laundry facilities are good with six coin-operated washer dryers. The rooftop bar is lovely. You’re given tokens depending on the number of nights booked and can exchange them for snacks/drinks. A one-night stay (in 2025) will get you enough tokens for a snack. We were disappointed to be given only one room card but, with Reception on the 14th floor and very long waits at the lifts, we didn’t ask for another one. Rather inconvenient through because, like so many hotels, you need the room card for the lift so we couldn’t go out independently. We would stay again for the location and value for money.

This hotel is in a fantastic location: close to major sights, shopping, eating. We had a corner room with a city view - very comfortable with coffee available to make in the room. The rooftop bar is lively and the hotel provides some credit towards drinks - a lovely surprise.

The Knot Hotel Hiroshima has a great location — it’s super close to the Peace Park, shops, and plenty of restaurants, which made getting around really easy. That said, the room was pretty small, and the carpet had some stains and looked a bit dirty, which took away from the overall comfort. It’s fine for a short stay if you’re mostly out exploring

I wonder why we were charged for breakfast if it was supposed to be free? Inflexible policies. Early check-in not possible. Late checkout by 45 minutes not possible. Wouldn't even check to see if possible. Lobby on top floor inconvenient. Small room. Worn carpets, unclean, too.

Very good location in relation to the Peace Park. Very walkable area. The hotel itself is fine. Honestly, in comparison to the many properties we have now stayed at on this trip, it’s my least favorite. The carpets in the hallways and rooms are visibly stained, and the amenities provided were very lean… no tea to be had. The coffee bags were very weak. The location is fantastic. The restaurant charged us the Y 330 per person service fee and there was nothing given and we were hotel guests; I think that’s a bit offside. I think it’s possible to find a better property for your money. I will say the rooftop bar is beautiful with stunning views and the knot dollars essentially equating to a free drink each is appreciated.

Hotel was very clean. Towels were changed out each day which we appreciated. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Food was good. Bar was okay, have to pay for a double shot to really have a good drink though. Margarita was like salt lime water but overall friendly service

Room was very clean and well equipped for a nice sleep after a long day of exploring Hiroshima. The rooms are very small (typical Japanese) which makes it difficult with luggage. I was a solo traveller but imagine this would be more difficult with multiple people. Hotel was strict on their 3pm check in time but stored luggage for me, and pre-booked me a taxi back to the airport for the morning of my departure. The rooftop bar has gorgeous views and the restaurant downstairs is delicious. Be sure to book a table though as it gets very busy (I showed up at the start of dinner and could only have a table for an hour on a Thursday). I would stay here again but might try to book a larger room in future.

Location is amazing & communal areas (bar & rooftop are great). Slightly frosty greeting when we arrived early to leave our bags but a very friendly welcome after 3pm & the receptionist gave us a couple of really great restaurant recommendations - thank you! Unfortunately, the room itself was below average, especially for the price. Upon booking, it wasn’t entirely clear that if you didn’t pay for a view of the boulevard/city, there would be no view at all & the window would face directly onto a wall cm away. Room was also very small, dark(!) & the bathroom was quite tired. Overall this was pretty disappointing & had I known/realised, I’d probably have paid for a more expensive room option.

Room very tight and carpet dirty and dated. No housekeeping included with our 2 day stay. Room was hot and AC limited to 22C which is too hot for me. Lobby bar was nice touch with some tokens for drinks. Didn’t do breakfast. Location is close to peace memorial and good connections via transit to get to and from Hiroshima station on street car and easy transfer to Miyajima via bus/train. Didn’t think great value compared to our other hotels in Japan.

Wonderful hotel just a few minutes walk from the Peace Memorial Museum. Close to bus and tram stops. Very clean room and a nice lobby/bar area where we were able to enjoy a free drink and nibbles. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was amazing, and the staff were incredible. I absolutely loved my stay. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was they did not have any English channels or movies. That being said I wasn't there for the TV experience.

We had an excellent stay here. The location is terrific, and the rooms are very comfortable. Special mention to the staff — we accidentally left a package behind after checking out, and they promptly packed it and sent it to our next hotel in Tokyo. Incredible service, and we’re truly grateful.

The Knot is a solid three-star property. Our standard room was super small - it felt like an inside cabin on a cruise ship. Despite communicating with the property in advance and requesting an upper floor with a few (to no response), our window looked out over mechanical equipment. They had a lively lobby with a fun town system for treats. The most frustrating thing about this hotel was a policy of no check-ins before 3 p.m. Although that may seem like a standard policy for hotels, at The Knot it is strictly enforced regardless of room availability. As a result, guests and luggage pile up on the lobby and then at 3 p.m. there is a stampede to register. Have never seen this at any hotel I have ever stayed. Staff were unfriendly which is a rarity in Japan. The best thing about this hotel is it's convenient location to the Peace Memorial Museum and Park, literally a five minute walk away. Fantastic Italian restaurant on ground floor.

Lovely hotel, lovely room, clean, great breakfast, friendly staff. Really liked the touch of a ‘free’ drink or snack with the Knot coins. Great location for sightseeing, less than 5 mins from the Hiroshima Peace Museum. Would absolutely stay again.

The Knot is located close to buses and streetcars to connect with Hiroshima station. It is only a few minutes walk to the Hiroshima ABomb Dome and Museum. It is only a few minutes walk to the Aqua Net ferry terminal for a trip to Miyajima Island. This is a fabulous way to travel to the island. The knot has a rooftop bar with fabulous views. Many traditional restaurants all within a few minutes walking.

Great easy location to enjoy the Peace Park, the Peace Memorial Hall, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Atomic Bomb. Basically the main reason for going to Hiroshima. The hotel foyer (on 14th floor and great for views over Peace Park) is great, the room we had (standard double) are practical but small. Maybe go for the next room up if you want more space. The restaurant downstairs (Morethan) did our best breakfast in Japan! Fresh ingredients and the salmon and avo just delicious! Lovely staff in restaurant. Slightly surly bar staff upstairs!

Modern hotel in a great location just next to the Memorial Park. It has a great bar on the top floor. Rooms are quite spacious, comfortable and clean. There is a popular hotel restaurant on the ground floor but we didn't use it as it had a more Westernised menu.

Great place to stay super close to memorial park and internal flame along with east access to restaurants and bars. But you may not have to go far bc the rooftop bar offers excellent views and restaurant on the first floor was some of the best food we ate on the entire trip!!
