Rooms were nice, modern and spacious with large balcony. The pool area was also nice and there is a private path to the beach. The area is quiet, you need to get a taxi/Uber/Bolt if you are going out for dinner. There is a Lidl and other supermarket 10 minute walk away. This is perfect for a couple or friends for a short break.

Very nice hotel with a pretty beautiful pool and spa amenities and gym. The beach is nearby. Marbella centre can be reached in about 10-15 minutes by car.

Lovely, clean hotel with very large rooms. One of our party was put in a room overlooking the carpark but was changed when she complained. 2 rooms were on a higher floor which was nice but I had to ask (I'd booked 10 rooms and I had VIP access). Not sure we would have got them if I hadn't asked and I'm not actually sure they were an upgrade .... Only real criticism of the hotel was the lack of sunbeds. Admittedly we were a party of 10 but we struggled to get sunbeds and other guest were ot happy that we took so many of them. Please get more sunbeds management! This (and only this) would stop me going back .... On a brighter note the staff were fabulous, the drinks and food round the pool good and not expensive and overall a lovely hotel.

Es gab nur 30 Liegen am Pool, was bei der Anzahl an Gästen natürlich nicht funktionierte. Auch war zum Frühstück kein Platz im Freien zu bekommen, da alles belegt war.

Großzügige Kleiderschränke. Zimmer mit voll ausgestatteter Küche. Beheizter Pool im Außenbereich mit bequemen Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Privater Zugang zum Strand. Sehr gepflegte und saubere Anlage! Yoga- und Fitnessraum, Sauna und Dampfsauna inkl. Ruhebereich. Sehr angenehme Wellness- und Spa-Behandlungen. Reichhaltiges Frühstück vom Buffet mit frisch zubereiteten Eiern/Pancakes a la cart. Das Restaurant The Seven ist fantastisch und bietet zum Mittag und am Abend ausgezeichnete Kulinarik. Das Poolmenü kann sich ebenfalls sehen lassen. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr einladendes Ambiente.

Fantastic stay all in all. The staff is kind and helpful in all departments. The room was spacious and clean, with a great balcony and the necessities you need to be able to make a simple meal yourself too with a small kitchenette. The pool is heated and secluded, and the spa treatments are great (highly recommend the lift facial). The hotel has its own private walkway down to the beach, it just takes a few minutes. We have already decided to come back later this year because the experience was great.

Het hotel is prachtig, veel halfopen gangen met prachtig uitzicht op de tuin. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Verder fijne voorzieningen zoals een ruime fitness (nu eens echt!), een sauna en meer. De kamer was heel ruim, goed uitgerust en we hadden een supergroot balkon, meer terras. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, heerlijk buffet en daarnaast ook nog a la carte keuzes. Verse sappen, vers fruit, vers gebakken brood... Echt super. Het zwembad is ook top, alleen wat weinig bedjes voor het aantal gasten. Maargoed, wel de moeite waard met zon of schaduw naar wens. Het pad vanaf het hotel naar het strand is een unieke bonus, wat mooi! En het strand is lekker rustig en de boulevard eindeloos met mooie uitzichten. Geweldig!

Gorgeous hotel in a good location. The hotel was excellently presented, clean and well maintained. The pool and loungers were fabulous. The restaurant we didn’t use except for breakfast which was brilliant. The rooms were large and well equipped with a full kitchen, comfortable beds and pillows. The spa was fantastic. The hotel was with perfect location, far away from city noise, really good for chilling and relaxing. The nearby beach was only 5 minutes walk throw stunning garden. The beach isn’t busy, absolutely beautiful. The hotel was very clean and smells good but with room cleaning there were days that it wasn’t clean properly like mirrors or floors. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The staff is very nice, polite and always helpful. The spa crew also very kind, amazing service. The breakfast were good with enough selection. The downfall of the hotel was poorly selection of food and pricey drinks but there are restaurants nearby so it wasn’t a problem. Overall amazing experience and would recommend to everyone.

Hadde et fint opphold i 17 dager. Fikk tildelt en suite da de ikke hadde et deluxe rom med hav utsikt når vi kom, fornøyd med det. Opplevde at strømmen gikk i hele Spania i et halvt døgn, og da var det ikke mulig å få mat i restauranten, da alt gikk på elektrisitet. Her burde de tenkt beredskap og hatt tilgjengelig grill eller gass. Vannet forsvant, også i toalettene etter en stund. Ingen informasjon fra hotellet. Til tider var det ikke nok solsenger til alle gjestene, men igjen veldig gode puter Renholdet var gjort i en voldsom fart, og mye ble uteglemt. Veldig positivt med eget kjøkken. Rommet var moderne og tiltalende. God seng med tynn dyne. Mulig å leie sykler fra hotellet, fin sykkeltur langs promenaden til Estepona.

It’s a bit of a hike to the beach through a shared path amongst multiple condo complexes. Breakfast is very good with large buffet plus eggs to order. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is spotless, rooms are excellent. Don't be fooled thinking this is a 4*, could be a 5* in my opinion. Sara is an absolute credit to this incredible hotel and I thank her for being so great and welcoming.

First time staying in the Flag. Quite a new hotel. Very Modern and clean. Most staff were lovely, some could do with knowing how to engage with customers. The girl serving at the pool was amazing! Such a hard worker and always making sure customers were cared for. Breakfast was to a decent standard Dinner and Lunch menus were decent as well. Pool was nice but sometimes to warm especially when it’s 35 degrees. Sun loungers were also limited. Room was amazing and spacious my only criticism would be the walls were quite thin so could hear our next door neighbours phone alarm and most their conversations 🙁 I would probably stay again if needed.

Lovely clean modern hotel, beautiful pool, very large suites with huge balconies. Amenities in the rooms are limited - just combined bath soap/shampoo, no moisturizer, vanity kit, etc and no extra towels. It’s a bit of a hike to the beach through a shared path amongst multiple condo complexes. Breakfast is very good with large buffet plus eggs to order. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Yoga- und Fitnessraum, Sauna und Dampfsauna inkl. Ruhebereich. Sehr angenehme Wellness- und Spa-Behandlungen. Reichhaltiges Frühstück vom Buffet mit frisch zubereiteten Eiern/Pancakes a la cart. Amazing property! Our room was very convenient with a kitchen, a dedicated living area, a closed bedroom and a gigantic terrace. A special thank you to Jennifer at the reception who was simply amazing! Efficient, professional, helpful and friendly! The pool was great and the beach access was very practical. All in all, we would come back anytime!

Gorgeous hotel in a good location. The hotel was excellently presented, clean and well maintained. The pool and loungers were fabulous. The restaurant we didn’t use except for breakfast which was brilliant. The rooms were large and well equipped with a full kitchen, comfortable beds and pillows. The spa was fantastic. Spacious room , large terrace, with fabulous facilities, would love to give 10 out of 10, unfortunately the tall waiter was so rude to us , took away the salad we were still eating , one of main course didn’t put in order, he was so rude, attitude was horrendous, my daughter gelt so uncomfortable, rather not skip her the food, didn’t want to wait . I can't believe the experience we had at the bar during our stay. We went for a drink at 8:30 PM on Thursday evening, and right off the bat, the barman informed us that the staff had a party to attend and we had to be out by 9:30 PM. Can you imagine? We felt rushed from the moment we walked in! Then, just 15 minutes before we were supposed to leave, they turned off the music and started cleaning up. We still had half a bottle of wine left! I ended up complaining to the lovely lady at the reception, who assured me that she would contact the manager and that he would follow up with us the next day. Well, guess what? We never heard a word from him. Talk about disappointing customer service! To add insult to injury, on Friday and Saturday nights, we were told the bar closes at 10:00 PM. Seriously? For a four-star hotel during the Christmas season? This is just unacceptable. We expected so much more, and it really put a damper on our stay.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Flag Marbella. The hotel concept, the property, the staff, the room, the food, and the pool were all simply outstanding. Thanks to our Expedia Gold status, we were upgraded to a huge, ultra-modern suite with a beautiful sea view and an incredibly comfortable bed. The hotel was fully booked, yet we were treated like the only guests there — the service was truly exceptional. The breakfast was healthy, fresh, and full of variety. The food available throughout the day and night was also excellent, with great options for all tastes. Around the pool, we enjoyed amazing smoothies and juices — be sure to try “The Cleaner”! We will definitely be back, and The Flag brand is now at the top of our list for future stays.

Reception staff were excellent as were the pool staff and area. The only disappointment here is the breakfast. Limited choice and not enough staff so you have to wait some time. They need to vary the menu every couple of days and ensure there are enough staff for the amount of guests.

The hotel was amazing I loved everything about the place and would love to visit again the only thing for me that let it down is the breakfast / bar staff. to me they just came across as rude the service was extremely slow given the small amount of guests they had to look after. But overall it wouldn’t stop me from to recommending it to others. really enjoyed my stay.

The Flag hotel is excellent. It is in a great location close to the beach. The pool area is fantastic for relaxing and taking a swim. The entire staff, including the front desk staff and housekeepers, were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Rooms were nice, modern and spacious with large balcony. The pool area was also nice and there is a private path to the beach. The area is quiet, you need to get a taxi/Uber/Bolt if you are going out for dinner. There is a Lidl and other supermarket 10 minute walk away. This is perfect for a couple or friends for a short break.

The hotel was with perfect location, far away from city noise, really good for chilling and relaxing. The nearby beach was only 5 minutes walk throw stunning garden. The beach isn’t busy, absolutely beautiful. The hotel was very clean and smells good but with room cleaning there were days that it wasn’t clean properly like mirrors or floors. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The staff is very nice, polite and always helpful. The spa crew also very kind, amazing service. The breakfast were good with enough selection. The downfall of the hotel was poorly selection of food and pricey drinks but there are restaurants nearby so it wasn’t a problem. Overall amazing experience and would recommend to everyone.

Mooi gelegen en rustig wegens beperkte kamers. Heel ruime kamers met alles bij de hand om als appartement te gebruiken. Toplocatie buiten Marbella en net buiten Estepona. Met de wagen is het wel een drukke bedoening bij momenten.

Il est éloigné de tout et ne propose aucun service. Les horaires du restaurant et du bar sont limités. Pas de mini-bar, pas de mouchoirs en chambre. Faites votre vaisselle vous-même!

Ontbijt geweldig, een aanrader, mooi zwembad Ligging aan het strand met een bijzonder mooie binnentuin die slingert tot aan het strand, wow Wij kunnen enkel zeer positief zijn. Personeel ook zeer vriendelijk Een ideale accmodatie om even wat energie bij te tanken.

Vi bodde på hotellet i tre nätter och hyrde bil från Malaga. Hotellet var rent och hade bra standard, men frukosten var begränsad och samma varje dag. Vi bodde på hotellet i tre nätter och hyrde bil från Malaga. Hotellet var rent och hade bra standard, men frukosten var begränsad och samma varje dag. Personalen var trevlig och svarade när vi frågade något, men vi fick inte känslan av att bli omhändertagna, exempelvis med hjälp att boka restauranger eller aktiviteter. För en vistelse på fyra dagar var det ändå en helt okej upplevelse.

Overall excellent and lived up to my expectations, based on all the other positive reviews here. In terms of the lovely private garden down to the beach, the beautiful undeveloped sandy beach itself, and the quite pool area, it was just what I wanted for. a few days to chill in perfect weather, and better than expected. The room was also nice and comfortable (they gave me a mattress topper immediately, which was perfect, as I thought the mattress was a tad hard). Bathroom is quite basic, but it's not a five-star hotel and it's perfectly clean, but could have better ventilation, as no external window. Big issue is the overall location, apart from the private access to the beach, as it's right next to a very busy motorway, and a big junction, so there is no town to walk to or places to visit locally. Cancelada has little to offer (it's in the name!), and even then it is some distance to walk to, as you have to walk a long way to a pedestrian bridge to cross over the motor-way. So if you like being in a place where you can walk to nice restaurants and cafes and bars, from your hotel, and sit out in the evenings, this is not the place for you. I found the food in the hotel to be of very mixed quality. Otherwise you are having to get taxis to go anywhere else. Staff were all really excellent, friendly and helpful. If you did not have good weather and could not sit out by the pool, or go to the beach, there wouldn't be much else to do here.
