MARINN Tropical Vibes Hotel

Based on the online presence i expected more. Elevator was out of service, therefore the luggage had to be carried upstairs. Room was old, not very taken care of. Bedsheets had stains on it and it was very loud due to the bar next door which had very loud music until around 2am. Breakfast buffet was very mjnimal. For the nightly rate i expected more of it. I would not stay there again. Sadly since the area it is located at is very nice!

Some positive aspects (location, room size, concierge), but also some important negative ones (no cleaning, poor breakfast, no elevator) make it not a terrible hotel, but not one I'd be looking forward to go back to. The rooms are very large and the beds comfortable. Also the bathrooms are nice and they provide a hair dryer, soap and shampoo. But there is only one chair in the room and no fridge and only one set of towels and not one glass in the bathroom for your toothbrush. We stayed two nights and no one cleaned the room after the first night (so no fresh towels or toilet paper, either). The person at the reception desk apologized, but offered no discount or other compensation (like a future discount for the next stay). During the week-end the area around the hotel becomes very lively (a plus), but also rather loud (a minus, as all rooms are located on the first floor - the one above the ground floor, with no elevator and not very well sound proofed from exterior music and sounds). Breakfast is "free" (let's face it: it is not free: it is included in the room fare) and rather disappointing. You can choose to have a toast with white or whole grain bread, or no toast, a fried egg or no fried egg, coffee and orange juice. End of breakfast. No buffet, nothing sweet, no fruit. If you leave early for a canal tour you can't even get a coffee and there is no packed breakfast option. The property is okay overall,the surroundings the only issue is that the property doesn't have a pool.

This is a nice property, it have a nice vibe. room was spacious, and clean. The balcony add a special touch to the room. The rooms offer you a bay or city view, which both views are espectacular. There’s many restaurants option at just walking distance, literally right beside the property. Now they definitely need to work on the breakfast options. if you’re driving parking is super easy and convenience. There’s no pool or spa at least I didn’t saw one. The staff OMG!! They were so accommodating and nice. Special thanks to Nikolle, she was amazing answering all the questions I have, giving me suggestions on what was around and places to experience. She was a real team player. Overall I have to say I will definitely be back to the MARINN.

This was a wonderful spot, the hotel is located in one of the most visit and amazing area. There is shopping, restaurants, outdoor activities, a marina, bikes for rentals, kids parks, a walk to the marina to take a boat to Taboga island and so much more. I enjoy this hotel. The view from my balcony room of the Panama cinta costera was amazing. The only thing I have to say is the hotel doesn’t have an elevator which you have to take the stair to go up to your room, and there have to be like about 25 step up. Is a pain in the behind to go up those stairs but it was worthy. Also there was no fridge, but if you asked for one they will bring you one. The staff was amazing. Overall I will stay at this property again and again. It was a dream spot.

Convenient to cruise port, no elevator!

Couldn’t beat the view! Sitting down and watching ships come in and out of the Panama Canal was amazing. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the elevator was broken and due to an injury it was diff to go up and down the stairs. Also, there was a lot of noice coming from an event close by that prevented us from sleeping. The staff was pleasant. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance specially the amazing Sabroso Panama which offers a nightly Panamanian folkloric show at 8:00 PM.

No me hospede en este hotel porque no tiene Piscina. Pero muy gentilmente me pasaron la reserva a otro hotel que esta en Via España, se llama Marin Places Financial center, el cual lleno mis expectativas, y si tiene piscina. ...y el personal muy amable. Todo en orden. Espero poder ir al del coswey pronto. Pero les adelanto que el de Via España es muy bueno y el personal muy amable. Hotel limpio. Y valet parking.

The pictures of this place oversell it! Reality is much different. I failed to read all the reviews before I booked it so shame on me. Very dirty. Mold in the room. And very dilapidated. They tried to give me a room next to the restaurant which had loud music playing until 2am. I complained and they finally gave me a room away from that part of the hotel. Buyer beware! Read the reviews!

Room smelled of sewage, I had many massive bug bites and they guest across the hall smoked constantly. Loud noise from the bar

Wow, unprofessional staff at desk, crummy room, mold in AC, breakfast was like crackers and a piece of pineapple. Better spots available.

Not the rooms shown online! Walls have been stripped bare, air conditioner from initial bedroom was dripping really bad, floor was not swept. Was moved to another room which was a lot smaller, the tiles were loose and very dangerous(I WAS LATER TOLD THAT TOOM WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE TENTED OUT UNTIL THE TILES WERE REPLACED)the TOWELS HAD TURNED GREY!!!! Not a single cup or glass, no microwave, no refrigerator! The breakfast “buffet” has a sign which says you can only serve yourself once, although the young man in charge was excellent, the food leaves a lot to be desired. Eggs, chopped ham and American cheese, one choice of cereal. No fruit or fruit juices. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE! I WAS TOLD THEYRE FROM THEIR OTHER HOTEL. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!

Se debe mejorar el servicio de limpieza de la habitación, ya que en los 4 días que estuvimos hospedados, ni un solo día realizaron la limpieza porque a pesar de estar todo el día fuera del hotel, llegaban a las 7:00 pm a preguntar si podían limpiar y a esa hora queríamos descansar

The hotel could use some maintenance, but overall, my stay was pleasant. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made a positive impression. My only real issue was the loud music coming from the building at the end of the hotel block—it played until 3 a.m., which made it difficult to rest. Aside from that, everything was fine. The scenery was lovely and added a nice touch to the experience.

Beautifully located. Very large room comfortable bed beautiful view from balcony. Unfortunately Music from restaurant bar was so loud past 12:30 am. couldn’t sleep, couldn’t rest enough hours. We were not notified that loud noise was possible at time of checking in. Glass balcony doors not thick enough to minimize noise.

Great area to stay in, but if you’re staying in any room close to the lounge downstairs you’re not going to be able to get rest. It’s very loud! Staff was super friendly, helpful, and from I hear from family breakfast was great! Great area as well! Clean, safe and great food!

This is an excellent little hotel not too far from the “city centre”. All stays include buffet breakfast (630-930am). Rooms were clean, spacious and had a great view of the ocean / marina. A/C, cable tv and WiFi were all standard (WiFi password & QR code are at the front desk). There is also no resort fee or “incidental hold” on my card. I simply walked in with my passport, signed the booking form and collected my keys. There are small snacks and drinks available for purchase at the front desk. Credit card is widely accepted here (and across Panama in general). You’ll rarely find a “cash only” place. That being said, ATMs are abundant and they all spit out USD. Foreign cards are limited to $250usd per withdrawal but there’s nothing stopping you from doing more than 1 transaction. The location is great for a simple stay. You have a great view of the ocean, the entire causeway has a walkway littered with a vast array of foods, snacks and adult dining. Transport to/from the area is a breeze. I’ve gotten Ubers in seconds because they’re always in the area. Cheap transport to places like Biomuseo, Bridge of Americas, Multiplaza Mall, Casco Viejo (<$10 but most averaged $2-4usd) The front desk is versed in both English and Spanish and you can get by just fine if you know little to no Spanish. My only issue was: 1. My room had only a fridge. No microwave. No coffeemaker

Wonderful staff, the receptionist is very kind and helpful, the staff was very helpful with luggage handling, the breakfast staff was great day. The rooms are very spacious, and large balcony.

The room door was very hard to open, the bathroom was old and outdated the TV didn't work or connect to our devices

There was nothing wrong with the room or accommodations, the staff was great. The loud booming techno music blaring from a roof top bar next door til 2 in the morning was enough to never stay here again. Very little sleep!

What an amazing place this was. The staff was very friendly, the location was gorgeous and the room was clean spacious and loved the balcony.. Will stay here again if come back to panama.. vibrant area especially in the weekends.. don't really have to leave the area as there are restaurants and stores everywhere.

The water view is priceless. This hotel has been refurbished and has been done well. Hot water and great pressure. Very large balconies.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the surrounding area, great restaurants and shops. The only issue was that the rooms definitely did not look like the photos. Very sparse and in need of some updating. But we loved the location enough that we would still come back.

I had an amazing stay at Marinn Tropical Vibes Hotel! The staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your visit. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. And the location is everything, close to the beach, restaurants, and all the best local attractions. If you’re looking for a relaxing, well-run hotel with a true tropical atmosphere, I can’t recommend Marinn Tropical Vibes enough!

Terrible hotel staff. The ceiling of our room collapsed during our stay and damaged all of our shopping items. When we came home in the evening we found all of our clothing spread out to dry whi h was a breach of privacy. When we inquired about the incident the hotel staff were very evasive and kept saying it's a minor inconvenience. They treated us terribly

Friendly staff. Free breakfast with fresh fruits served with a smile. My room was exactly as shown in photos. An extra added bonus was the view of the marina, a variety of restaurants with excellent food choices, a mini mart and various shops for souvenirs and gifts for family and friends. I would definitely recommend and stay at the Marinn Tropical again. I loved my 10 day stay.

Check in wasn’t great they do not have early check in or a free welcome drink like is stated in the hotel description. Other than that the room is nice and big and clean, staff is friendly and hard working they are very accommodating. Also they don’t have 6 restaurants like it says

I love the location of the property everything is so easily accessible nice quiet area with so much attractions can’t be bored. There is something for everyone. Will definitely return.

My trip was amazing, I enjoyed very much the hotel, it is very clean, the receptionist was very nice, friendly, breakfast was excellent.

I didn’t like the breakfast because it was the same thing every day toast waffles eggs bearly have any thing to choose from.

Breakfast was ok. Sometimes scramble eggs and the ham smelled so bad I could not eat them at all. Coffee was great and the time to start serving breakfast (6:30am) was so convenient for me. Air condition was leaking the last three days I was staying there. They sent the maintenance team every time to repair it, but start leaking once again at night. The maintenance and cleaning teams were so loud in the morning right upfront of my room door since their room was exactly on front of my room and the door was squeaky. Building was old and nasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is amazing. The view was simply spectacular from my balcony, loved it.

Breakfast very limited and wasn’t refill.

We were leery about staying here because of the past reviews. However, our stay was very enjoyable. All the staff were excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Our room was remodeled. Breakfast was good. Made to order eggs and pancakes. very close to ferry. Was a bit noisy at night, but we stayed on the weekend.
