Excellent Hotel that we’ve been going to since it was built. We love it here! The rooms are spacious & clean. Their complimentary breakfast buffet is always fresh & delicious! The staff is pleasant & helpful. An amazing pool area with plenty of loungers & hammocks; and a restaurant/ bar just steps away from the pool.This particular Hotel is steps away from a Marina/ where you can charter boats. Very close to downtown Anna Marie Island & Bradenton dining& shopping areas. The prices are very reasonable for such a fine hotel. Highly recommend!

Room was large and beds were comfortable. Location was lovely, breakfast was absolutely amazing! The convenience of having the pool and a restaurant/bar right on property was unmatched. We loved hanging by the pool and having lunch and delicious drinks. View was great as well! The room was on the warmer side. We talked with the front desk and they were aware of the issue. The beds block some of the air from reaching the rest of the room and they were discussing a resolution for that issue. The rooms were definitely cooler than the outside temp just not as cool as you’d like it to be truly refreshing from the heat and humidity. Not a deal breaker. The staff was super friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again!

Dawn always makes us feel like we are coming home when we return. Great breakfast! I noticed some painting needs to be done and loungers are looking and feeling worn. But we absolutely love staying here!!!

Very nice hotel. The breakfast really was awesome. The bar is nice. Location was convenient if traveling to Ana Maria (Island or Sound?) Everything was good except the floor in the bedroom was pretty dirty. Every time we got in the shower we’d bring in gray footsteps. It’s mostly concerning because my toddlers play on the floor. Otherwise, it was the best hotel we stayed in during our vacation.

The lobby and front desk staff were very nice and friendly. The room looked nice, but there were streaks of stuff on the walls. There were clumps of hair on the shower wall. The chairs outside were falling apart. (I have pictures to prove it.) The outside staff at the restaurant were very rude and the food quality was poor. The luggage trolleys were old, rusty and broken. They ran out of food for breakfast on Sunday an hour before they were supposed to be shut down. The property was beautiful. The bed/bedding/pillows were very comfortable and the balcony was nice.

Our family had a fantastic time at the pool and restaurants during our stay. However, we were unfortunately plagued by bedbug bites. Four of us are still suffering from those bites even after the trip. Be careful!

The rooms were very dirty. The floors were literally black. The front desk was very rude to us twice. When I called to ask to have someone come and vacuum our room the front desk told me they only made the beds with an attitude. I asked him nicely to still send someone and he kept on giving me attitude. They came to vacuum only in the entrance of the room. Everything else was left as it was. The bathroom was dirty, the shower was dirty. On the other hand the rest of the staff was very nice. The pool was clean, the breakfast was good, and the bar staff was very nice.

I liked the resort, the view of the harbor was nice. The balcony is not private, you literally share it with multiple rooms. Only separated by a rod iron 3ft high fence. The traffic in the area is horrible, two lane road going to and from the beaches and a draw bridge. Gets jammed up a lot. Food was good, service good...

Overall the property was nice however we had no wifi in our room and we were told the signal must be weak in that part of the building. No solutions provided. Also, one of the days our room was not cleaned. After a long day at the beach, a nice clean room with fresh towels is not too much to ask. Their solution was to give us clean towels. This was our second time at this property but not sure we'll return.

Very nice and price was right for the area. Had one bedroom which gave us some separation for when one of us goest to bed earlier. NEEDS better TVs for easy streaming. Seriously, could not stream anything nor screen mirror, Netflix, Apple, Disney, Nothing except Youtube and that wasn’t working either. No microwaves available. Some hotels putting those near ice machines. With larger balcony on one bedrooms, please have 4 chairs. Dog friendly but needs specific area for dog walk. Food was good, bartenders very friendly, hotel clean and fresh, mattresses nice. So overall, a very nice stay and a good price. Enjoyed the view over the marina.

I was surprised that a new hotel would have window air conditioning instead of central air. The design of the hotel was somewhat peculiar as one needs to walk through the bar/restaurant area to get to the pool. Chris at the front desk went the extra mile on any request we had so kudos to him.

We had a family visit and stayed here. The room was lovely. Our only 'complaint' was that house keeping was rather slow. To be fair, the hotel was full every night we were there with a soccer tournament in town. Every single staff member was pleasant and fun and made the visit even better than it already was.

Compass Margaritaville was immaculate. From the moment when we checked in, Michele was a great representative of your company. She was personable and very kind. We had a small issue with the sink, backing up in our room and she had it repaired in less than an hour. Afterwards, she provided us with a coupon for a free drink in the bar. You can only hope to have more Michele‘s on your staff!

It is a beautiful location, but certain staff made it so I will be back! Dawn in food services, Cynthia at the bar, Kathy at the front desk were all great. However, Suzie was the star of the show! She was like my personal concierge and she did so everytime I saw her.

What a wonderful trip for my daughters wedding. Her wedding was supposed to be on the beach but due to hurricane Debby that was cancelled. The hotel manager did everything he could to make her wedding special even allowing the wedding coordinator to setup in the lobby with a nice view of the marina. Brian went above and beyond to make the day special. The hotel food and rooms were very nice and all of our guests enjoyed their stay.

Good afternoon. Everything was fine in the room, but at the time of check-in, I was so upset that when I handed over all the paperwork for my service dog, the lady at the front desk asked me what my husband's medical condition was in front of several other people in line. My husband is a retired military man with severe PTSD issues, and the dog is his companion. These authorization papers for the use of the dog were approved by his psychiatrist. I understand that by Hyppa's Law, no one is supposed to ask for this information. Then she took the dog's gift bag away from me...and refused to give it to me. I believe the service was very unprofessional.

Overall, the cleaning and service staff were wonderful. A delightful lady at breakfast reviewed a map of the area with us. The front desk were unhelpful and rude including not giving full details at check-in and talking badly about us because we asked about the deposit. Despite this the experience overall was great, the food great and room awesome.

Hotel is very good, clean, nice pool, basic breakfast included. They let us check in earlier, very grateful for that. 5 minutes drive to Anna Maria Island beaches. I would stay there again, just would select the room overlooking the bay, they have the balcony.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. Two restaurants available on site with very good food. The pool is great and heated which is always a plus! Convienent location to beautiful beaches and tours! Amazing stay!

I was thankful for an early check in. We did not like the bed or pillows they were uncomfortable. There is no shopping close enough to walk to and the dining options were not great at the two restaurants.

This is a good, standard hotel with great proximity to Anna Marie Island and nearby beaches. The room was fine…nice view…friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast is a bit above average. But the buffet layout is poorly organized and is crowded at most times.

Love the Jimmy Buffett vibe. Scenery at the marina was cool. The onsite resturant Floridays has a great ocean vibe. But food wqs overpriced for the small portion size. Bit of a funky smell coming from the bay on the west side of the bar, likely from the sea grass that washed ashore. Not enough towel bars in the bathroom. Water presuure was low. All this said, i would stay here again
