Staybridge Suites - Washington DC East - Largo by IHG

The hotel is great with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a fabulous breakfast! The housekeeping didn’t clean our room after four days and we had children with us, so that wasn’t the best. The pool was nice, but under construction for the last half of our trip, so the kids were sad.

The room had a few dust bunnies and residue on one of the tables, but nothing earth shattering. The staff at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. The pool was warm and quiet and made for a nice morning swim. We were in town for the Washington game and there is a shuttle service offered at the desk for $40 a person; we took advantage of it and it was very convenient. I do want to add the stadium is not really within walking distance. I thought it would be, but it'd be like a 45 minute walk, mostly up hill and in major traffic; realistically no one should walk that. The location is quiet and the parking is ample. The breakfast was great--many options. Lots of restaurants and shopping centers nearby. We had a great stay.

Clean and big hotel room, free laundry-bring your own detergent, FREE social hour on Monday, tues and Wednesday with wine, beer and food! Free hotel parking, breakfast was VERY GOOD! Half hour drive to/from DC. There is garage parking near Union station. Used spothero to find parking and only paid $15.00 for the day. Toured DC on the BigBusTours! Totally worth it. Some DC museums have timed reservations to enter. Must be set up at least one day before.

Stayed 1 night en route to NYC. Good location clean facilities decent breakfast and complimentary Tesla charging

This hotel stay did not let me down. The staff was absolutely amazing in every aspect! The manager made my early check in possible and my extra extended night easy and I appreciate her help so much! Breakfast was great, bigger variety than I expected which was amazing. Clean room, Indoor pool was great for my younger child and nice gym for my older children, win/win. Not to mention the body wash, shampoo/conditioner, and lotion provided are Dove brand which is the only brand I use due to sensitive skin! I will definitely be back next month for another stay for our next six flags visit, which is only 14 mins away. Thank you guys/ladies for making this stay pleasant! PS- my only problem was a weird smell in the room but it was bearable so I didn’t complain.

Everything was great, but the elevators. When I arrived one was down, as I was checking out, both were down. The owners need to have a bit more Urgency in making sure the residents have an easy way to and from their residences. No one should carry their luggage up and down flights of stairs, while paying what they're setting the prices for and holding from your card. We live in a society where we are afraid to let a business know where they're wrong, and when we do complain, it's over the wrong things. Companies have gotten where they tell us to take it or leave it. The breakfast was unpleasant. They only served pork as a protein, and the same generic and artifical waffle mix with terrible syrup options. You'd hope they stand out from others, but they do the same and increase prices. What are we paying for? There was hair on my shower wall. Everything was good,, staff was great, but these things I pointed out are what could make them even better.

The pool area floor was very slippery and dangerous I seen 2 adults fall and 3 kids fall because the water was didn’t have any drainage

The fire pit but it wasn’t working they said it’s a hard job too do but other then that I had a great stay there

We were given a room at 4th floor and found out the elevators were out of order. The front desk guy told us that they will find someone to carry our luggage to 4th floor for us. Who will treat their employees like that. Plus my husband cannot walk stairs up to 4th floor. They then decided to change to second floor and sent someone to help us with luggage! Then, we stayed for a whole week, swimming pool was closed from Wednesday through Saturday. When it was chaotic when rude kids/teenagers were yelling and carrying on. Room services is a miss. We had to ask for extra bath towels, shampoo, body wash, soap, toilet paper from front desk. It appeared the room full of ants too! Very nasty! The hotel has quiet time rule after 10 pm. But our upstairs neighbor stomping, banging all night long, which made us hardly sleep through the nights. 1st floor public bathrooms were locked most of time, making inconvenient for us. Some pros: I do enjoy the breakfast, good variety! Tesla/electric charging for free Gym room has limited equipments, but nice to open daily Laundry is free Room Refrigerator is roomy Convenient location, quite a lot restaurants around the place. 6 flags are closed by.

Front desk staff was very professional and welcoming, good workout room set up and complimentary laundry. Room was dirty and needed a deep scrubbing.

The rooms are up to date, but our room was clearly not clean. As soon as I pulled the covers back, there were crumbs in the bed visibly. The pillow cases and hand towels were dirty. The carpet throughout the hotel was filthy. It was disappointing.

The Staybridge in Largo is excellent. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was wonderful; breakfast was generous. But our suite had red stained carpet and some walls had strange stains. Not a flattering look for the price.

I was supposed to stay in this hotel for three days . Ended up leaving the next day . The smell of weed was horrible everywhere. Don’t stay with little kids . Bathroom, elevator and carpet dirty. I have stayed in this chain before and did not have this terrible experience. Will not book again .

Dirty room .thought I was paying a premium for a decent hotel but that was not the case.

We had an issue with the bathroom (there was pink mould on the shower head). We complained and asked politely, twice, however nothing was done about it. Mine and my family’s stay would have been much more comfortable had they removed the pink mould.

Everything good except missing the iron board.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and knew what to expect !! Check in was smooth and the room was beautiful and clean!! I love that the room is set up like an apartment with utensils, silverware, wine glasses and even a small dishwasher!! The only negative for me was the sec.deposit - $250 which I think is a bit high but you do get it back!!

Nice hotel, front desk gentleman was amazingly helpful. Room did not have enough towels, clean dishes were sitting around, no linens for the extra bed. Breakfast was expected to be open at 6, it wasn’t, she was lovely though and let us grab items while she was setting them out. View of the stadium was amazing. I would stay again.

Great stay overall. Only cons were the limited breakfast and the tv didn’t get all channels

Had to get room key card reprogrammed every day … door was tough to latch, remotes in room needed new batteries… overall very good even with these minor items

Rooms are spacious, clean and lobby is big to sit. Love the fireplace.

Staff was friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast could be a little more fresh and well stocked. Guests seemed a little rowdy, and the room above us both nights was extremely loud and i had to call the desk twice. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Would atay again

We were in walking distance to the Stadium. Also we had a kitchenette, so if you wanted to buy food you can.

Safe, friendly staff, and free laundry are the things we liked. The outside needed weeded, made it look uncared for. The people staying above us must of weighed a lot and liked stomping around at midnight. That was bad, but other than that it was a nice place to stay.

I stayed here for a week. I wanted to bring my car to DC and was put off some of the downtown hotels by their high daily parking costs and often being reliant on valet parking. This hotel is close to the FedEx Field stadium, out to the east from downtown. There are various routes into downtown, all of them pretty busy, so be prepared for a 25-30 minute drive each way. Parking at the hotel is free and convenient. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very generously sized - with bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen area. Everything was exceptionally clean. The beds are comfortable, even if I found the mattress a little squishy on the edges. Kitchen is well equipped. There were two large screen TVs. There is a free hot breakfast with a good choice of items. I was traveling with two dogs, and the hotel has a large and well-tended grassy area at the rear for pets. The area directly around the hotel is uninteresting, with medical and government offices and other businesses, but there are various restaurants a three-minute drive away. The Largo subway station is about a 15- minute walk, or you can catch a bus from outside the hotel. I enjoyed staying here and thought it was good value.

Try to make me pay twice after paying in full online

From the moment we walked into the hotel the reception was fantastic. The hotel was beautifully clean and bright. We had a very small problem with the electricity tripping out and it was fixed immediately. Happened again and we were moved within minutes to another room. Michelle even brought up a trolley for us without us asking so helpful. Then I needed to print off some paperworkand Glen advised me what to do and Cameron helped me do it. The managers reception was so so good and Maria who did the cooking was so lovely and the food was gorgeous. Last but not least was Samira the general manger who came round and spoke to all guests and had time for everyone, she is an absolute asset to IHG as are all the staff. Fantastic 3 night stay. If ever back over this hotel will be my 1st choice. Being a regular user if hotels and Staybridge Suites being one of my most popular this hotel stands out.

I was overcharged for my stay! Contacted the hotel numerous times with no resolution. Opted to pay for the booking when I checked in but hotel charged my card before check in unknowingly. When I arrived I was charged in full again. No one has returned my half dozen calls to the office! No help at all!! Won't stay at any hotel in this chain again!

Glen the front desk clerk was excellent. He was very accommodating and nice. He was very professional and nice.

Staffer name Tiffany was very rude act as if she didn't want to be at work but I'm sure she is still working, no breakfast available as advertised. Major inconvenience for a family of 4 included 3 adults and 1 child. We had to leave out sooner because of it to go get breakfast after paying 121.00 for one night. It's all good. Enjoy

I recently had a disappointing experience during my stay. From the rudeness of the staff to a room that was not thoroughly cleaned, the visit fell short of expectations. After checking out, I called regarding an item I left behind, and when I followed up, my call was abruptly disconnected — which I found unprofessional. I hope you will review these concerns and take steps to improve the guest experience.

From the start I was greeted by the Best Staff name Glenn Brigham. He was helpful in showing us the facility, per my request and I was also introduced to the sales persons Ms. Michelle Jones always very nice. There were some minor room issue with the door not locking at times and some stains on the couch in the room, but minor issues compared to a Great stay and wonderful team. The team was very welcoming friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return and recommend to others. Thanks for a great stay and time all.

Staff was nice but under staffed. They ran out of bath towels and it took 2 day to get fresh ones. Stay 5 nights and know one came to clean or give us toilet paper.

Staybridge sold out of the room type i had booked through Expedia for 6 adults. I booked a 2 bedroom (one room w 2 beds) and a sleeper sofa. They contacted me at 10:30 the night before to tell me they were sold out but had booked an identical room at their sister hotel Residence Inn. Arrived at 11:30 that night and found the Residence Inn did not have that room type (2 bedrooms in the second room). Ended up having to get an additional room (extra $150). Staybridge obviiously did NOT book the same room for me and my group is $150 poorer for it! I will be lodging a formal complaint with both Expedia who should have guaranteed the rooms and Staybridge who should not have double booked.

Great location, safe, and nice staff.

Staff was competent, friendly, and accommodating. Facilities were as advertised or better. Easy access to the DC Subway System was a big plus for us.

My family traveled to DC over Spring Break, and our stay was just perfect for easily exploring the city. The convenience of the metro station just blocks away made travel to and from DC a breeze. We had plenty of space in our suite, and everything was clean and in good condition. We would recommend our stay for sure!

Property was close to Arena! Very convenient.

Hospitality evenings Mon-Wed. 10 minute walk to subway going to Washington and 25 minute subway to Washington. New facility, great staff.

Close to Six Flags, clean, convenient, nice amenities like a pool and breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Would stay again. Room amenities also nice. Mini kitchen, big TV and couch, comfy bed, AC. I’m very pleased.

There was a multiple hotel key issues throughout our visit from check-in, pool access and our last day which was fustrating. Our trash was only emptied once and we received 3 replacement towels our entire stay. They never made the beds or stacked the dishwasher. I only mention it because it states that they will do it. Personally I take care of everything at home so I was hoping for a break. The first day when we approached our room the house keeper was sitting in front of our door hiding from the hall view. I felt that was kind of odd. The breakfast was the same watered eggs and sausage every day. A variety would be nice like other hotels. The last day they ran out of alot of items. My favorite part of the stay was the staff. The manager was present and introduced herself. The maintenance manager and front desk staff was amazing. They went above and beyond. I don't recommend families staying on a weekend night because our last night was rough. The room next to us and the one above us was partying until 1am & 3am. So I got to drive 7 hours home exhausted. The hotel room does not have a K-cup coffee maker but having the rest of the kitchen set up was convenient and helpful.

I hate to give up the best kept secret, but this property deserves to be known. From calling in advance about accommodations that we were going to need to our check out, there is not one bad thing I can say. We were greeted at check-in by a very kind and knowledgeable young lady, whose name escapes me at the moment. To our pleasant surprise there was a taco bar that evening along with free beer, wine and soda. Every employee had a smile on their face and could not do enough for you. And I highly recommend this property when staying for a trip to DC. It’s conveniently located and it’s a relatively quiet because it is in a business area. It’s also a great place to stay if you are going to a Redskins game.

I wish their was more variety with breakfast

The stay went well. The property was clean, the staff was nice and helpful. I had no issues besides the breakfast situation.

I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling alone with my two kids. Overall, our stay was good and the basics were covered. A few things to keep in mind: 🔹 Towels – I highly recommend bringing your own. The ones provided were stained and looked dirty, which was disappointing. 🔹 Breakfast – It was okay, but very basic. They had eggs, cereal, bagels, bread, and waffles. I expected a bit more variety like sausage or bacon. 🔹 Security – There was an armed security guard stationed outside at night. While I understand safety is important, it felt a bit intimidating and made me question whether the area was truly safe. Would I stay here again? Maybe—but with better preparation.
