Great time staying at Hotel Elevation during our recent trip to Tahoe. Happy time during check in with front desk staff. Good room and cozy bed. Clean bathroom and good shower pressure. Easy and free parking, with convenient location accessible to many restaurant and stores.

When we arrived, the property had trash in the parking lot and there was a van with a windows busted out. Then when I went to check in no one was at the front desk just a paper that said call number for assistance. Then when we went in to the room there was signs that there was a lot of sheet rock repairs within the room and the bathroom, it was never painted. The shower head was spraying out from the side, and the toilet seat was dirty. Also the microwave that was in the room was burnt and rusted. And the window was falling off the frame. But the beds were very nice

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Elevation during one of our recent stay to South Lake Tahoe. We got clean and spacious room, friendly staff and excellent amenities which were sufficient or a short trip. Hotel has a lot free parking available for the guest and hotel is pet friendly as well.

Old and small bathroom and shower, almost impossible to share. Room itself is ok but lots of issues like no privacy blinds or curtains, only the blackout thick one. Not enough lights. TV and internet were fine. Location is the only good thing. It is a 1 star motel. No ice machine, no pool, they have a fence thwt blocks easy way to the nearest beach.

Our recent stay at here exceeding all expectations, offering a blend of comfort and convenience and genuine hospitability made our experience a truly unforgettable. First and foremost the , the location of the Hotel elevation is simply unbeatable situated right on Lake Tahoe Blvd. We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The room felt fresh and well- maintained The in room Wi Fi was consistently strong and reliable. The had exceptionally staff, every interaction from check in to check out was met with warmth and efficiency. The hotel's value for money is truly outstanding. Would highly reccomend this place to anyone coming to Tahoe.

This is an older hotel that needs some TLC. Improvements are being made such as painting and replacing carpet with hard wood flooring. Very convenient for walking to dinner and the beach. I had plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good. Check in time isnt until 4pm but the hotel rep was there quickly (you have to ring a door or call to get someone). Mini fridge and microwave in room. Was very quiet after 8pm. AC was good with no noise. For the price, its a great option.

This property should not be listed on expedia!! I have never stayed in a worse condition hotel listed on expedia. The bathroom ceiling had mold. The base decks had watee damage. The door was patched and not painted. The floors were dirty not mopped clearly seen on our socks. I would not recommend staying at this location!

Shower was unusable due to black mold and pink mildew. Toilet, sink and beds were clean. Room is old and needs repairs. Checkin was very simple, and staff was courteous. Good location. Parking is crowded on weekend.

My second night I caught 2 roaches. One I swatted off the bed and the second I swatted off the nightstand. I brought it to attention to the front desk worker when I was checking out and they said they couldn’t adjust the amount they charged me for the two nights. I have a picture of the dead roach in the bathroom by the waste basket. I should the worker and they said they would notify the manager and he told me to contact Expedia.

It was less then $300 for 4 nights stay which was much cheaper than anywhere else on holidays but the place was not for long stays or holidays. Although the room looked clean I wiped with Clorox wipes the floor which was dirty, cleaned the bathroom and everything we would touch. Everything was super dirty n sandy judging by how dirty the wipes were. On day 2 we started seeing cockroaches. So I had to shake everything I didn’t need in the room packed n put away in the car. Was inconvenient but I didn’t want to bring roaches home. The service was ok. The young Indian fellas were trying to be nice gave us towels toilet paper when asked n let us check out at 1 pm. The place would be ok for people just spend the night n go. The owners need to get rid of roaches! I wouldn’t recommend this place for extended period of time n for families.

The hotel is in an excellent area. Very close to everything. CVS is a parking lot over. There is a really good breakfast restaurant next door. There is a beach around the corner with many activities. We stayed 4th of July weekend. There was a parade in front of the hotel. There is a grocery across the street. It is close to many other beaches as well. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. We are a family of 5 with 2 small dogs and there was lots of room for us all. The staff was attentive, very helpful and pleasant. It is a no frills hotel so don’t expect room service or breakfast but there is a mini fridge and microwave with lots of space if you like making your meals in the room. The water pressure was good and the ac and heat worked well. The beds were not very comfortable and I don’t care for the sheets but I am very picky so I usually bring my own to cover what there since it a 2 star. The outside is a little grimy and run down could probably do with a paint refresh but it was clean non the less. If you are traveling with kids or friends and ok with out frills then it’s a great place to stay!

It actually had a full closet. Luckily the ac unit drowned out some of the street noises. The location was great- and pretty clean. Points off for the holes in the plaster in the bathroom. It did have a microwave and fridge and TV. Great place if you just need a place to lay your head.

I apologize in advance since I don’t really like leaving negative feedback but this hotel needs a lot of cleaning and updating. I honestly didn’t expect a lot when I booked my room here, only because I did look at the reviews before I made my reservation. I was still disappointed, though. It was worse than what I expected. The room was so outdated and felt dirty. The location is pretty good but I would rather have a clean and comfortable room when on vacation. Good thing we only needed to stay there for one night because we had another reservation at another hotel for the rest of our stay in Lake Tahoe.

The room was spotless and smelled clean but is in dire need of a makeover. The ceiling had water stains and unpainted spackling. The bathroom door mirror must have been ripped off exposing the glue. The walls also had exposed spackling and none of the appliances were plugged in. They should not charge people to stay in a room of this condition.

We weren’t expecting 4- star hotelling, but the pictures were deceptive (and flat out wrong for the bathroom). Only one outlet on one side of the bed, one bedside light, and everything was dingy and patched (the patches weren’t painted). There was visible damage to the walls and a large crack in the ceiling. Not helpful nor friendly at front desk. I had booked a room via Expedia and showed up to check in this past Saturday. The clerk could not find my reservation and come to find out it was booked in error for the Tuesday prior. They wanted much more than I paid and didn’t offer a credit for another night. The clerk was very dismissive and acted put-off. Now I’m out a decent amount of money. I’m pretty unhappy regarding the lack of customer service and willingness to work with me. Place is run-down and not worth the price! I still hope they make it right by offfering me a credit. If not, I’ll never consider them and will inform others.

Great time staying at Hotel Elevation during our recent trip to Tahoe. Happy time during check in with front desk staff. Good room and cozy bed. Clean bathroom and good shower pressure. Easy and free parking, with convenient location accessible to many restaurant and stores.

Hotel location is great next to CVS and famous Heidi's restaurant. Hotel has a lot of free parking space. On the other side our check was breeze, room was clean and cozy and staff was helpful throughout our stay. We had a decent stay.

The worker in the lobby was extremely rude over the phone as we called for help finding the hotel, once we got to the hotel at 4:34 pm, he said the room was not ready yet, we had a wedding to attend at 5! Later that night he was still rude to my father who was simply just asking for some help, I will never stay here again!

The hotel is in an excellent area. Very close to everything. CVS is a parking lot over. There is a really good breakfast restaurant next door. There is a beach around the corner with many activities. We stayed 4th of July weekend. There was a parade in front of the hotel. There is a grocery across the street. It is close to many other beaches as well. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. We are a family of 5 with 2 small dogs and there was lots of room for us all. The staff was attentive, very helpful and pleasant. It is a no frills hotel so don’t expect room service or breakfast but there is a mini fridge and microwave with lots of space if you like making your meals in the room. The water pressure was good and the ac and heat worked well. The beds were not very comfortable and I don’t care for the sheets but I am very picky so I usually bring my own to cover what there since it a 2 star. The outside is a little grimy and run down could probably do with a paint refresh but it was clean non the less. If you are traveling with kids or friends and ok with out frills then it’s a great place to stay!

For the price, this is a terrific deal. You can stay 100 yards north at the Tahoe Beach Retreat for $300/night and not sleep noticeably better. The staff are kind and helpful. Everything works. Clientele seems to be reasonably quiet. Location is fantastic. Just a terrific good deal.

Great breakfast place right next-door and fantastic location close to the lake. When we checked in, there was two dogs barking in the room next-door. Staff moved us to a different room with no problem. When we got to the new room, the smoke alarm was beeping and for some reason the alarm went off at 4 AM in the morning and then again at six. Despite this, I’d probably stay here again due to price and proximity to lake

The room was clean and well kept at all times. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Amenities were great, made our stay more comfortable. Location of the hotel was excellent close to many restaurants and attractions. Would stay again!

I booked my reservation one day prior to my arrival. Read a couple reviews, looked at pics, location looked good. Called the morning I was to arrive to check on early arrival. When the person answered all I got was a “what”? I should have known then what to expect. I asked if I called Elevation and asked about an early check in. I was asked what time I would be there and was told that he would not be there at that time and to call back. Huh? Another red flag. We arrived early and pulled into their covered parking. Went into their reception area to check in and the expression on my face should’ve been posted at every voting booth in America a couple years back. Still having hope, I checked in. No charge for early check in. Bonus. Thank you. Pulled the car around closer to the room I was assigned. Saw several people that were sketchy at best. Kept luggage in the car to check out the room in hopes that maybe I was wrong. Nope. It was everything I expected from previous crack town experiences…only worse. Filthy carpets, blood stains on the shower curtain, no security on the door. It felt very unsafe. I did not call the front desk. How it got to that point, my time calling for any resolution was futile. There’s no way in hell I’d stay there again.
