Basic comfort for a holiday inn express. Usually pretty expensive compared to others. It was great when they did not charge guests for charging EV’s. I didn’t see the change anywhere and in fact had I not mentioned it upon check in I would not have been charged. I think what bothered me most is that the expense was far more than a supercharger costs

We booked last minute and hand noting short of an exceptional weekend. From check in to check out everything was so easy. Plenty of parking, every staff from maintenance to front desk was wonderful, breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean and ready, the laundry room worked perfectly. Our room was nice a clean with plenty of room, the heat and a/c worked perfectly. My only "complaints" would be the water pressure isn't very strong for the shower and the hot water peaked at luke warm at best, but thats grasping at straws for a complaint. Exceptional stay and would/will definitely return next time im in the area.

Nice new property. Pool is tiny so if there are kids you might as well forget it. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was nice with 2 eggs and 2 meats. Love the cinnamon rolls.

Turn the heat up on the pool 😆. If you are a lite sleeper, try to get a room on the far back side of the hotel. The truck noise from the highway goes on all night long.

The breakfast was the probably the best part. The one day we were able to enjoy it, since it’s not open until 6:30 and my family had to be out the door before 6. There was visible dirt on the walls, bathroom and beds. The television needed repaired when we checked in and the phone in the room wasn’t functioning. While I have stayed in worse hotels overall this was a disappointing experience.

An upgraded hotel convenient to highway. Room was good size, and fairly clean. It was evident that no deep cleaning was done. A quick pass with the vacuum and wipe of the counters. Grime and mold in bathroom corners and shower. Beds were comfy and clean—the most important part.

Great location if want to stick with a chain hotel, but still want that country feel. Had a nice view of the mountain ridges to the east and the mountain gap. Room was very clean and spacious. Would stay here more often for hiking in the nearby state forests but the rates are usually much higher due to nearby PSU

The room itself is not bad. The eco-friendliness of the hotel makes it somewhat uncomfortable when the air condition shuts off on hot days. The air conditioner tends to shut off while you are sleeping and you wake up hot and uncomfortable. The breakfast is delicious and usually pretty good for the most part this varies from day to day. The rooms facing the highway are very noisy and you can hear the trucks all night. Housekeeping is the worst part they make your bed but they do not clean very well and they do not change the Linens all that they do is make the bed they do not replace the sheets or the covers this was during an entire week's stay.

The bath drain wouldn't close, so you couldn't take a bath. The holder for shampoo body wash, conditioner was broken and rusted out. The finish in the bathtub is all cracked and peeling off, and the cable for tv kept going out. Only good thing was the breakfast and your night time employee. She was a pure charm.

Average hotel overall. The breakfast was okay, the workers were very tentative and nice. The rooms (2 different rooms) had a musty smell that we had to deal with the whole stay - other than that, the rooms were clean. Close to the Walmart, amusement park, and food options. I’d come back if I was in the area for Knoebels.

When we first checked in, there was an issue with our room. The young gentleman at the front desk, Jonathan, was wonderfully accommodating and immediately assigned us a new room. He was also very helpful and knowledgeable in his suggestions for local highlights, restaurants, and bars. His excellent customer service made the difference in our stay!

Stayed here on short notice to accommodate an upcoming Penn State game. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant as we arrived and throughout our stay. A good quality breakfast and close proximity to a sheets station. Will stay again next trip to the Happy Valley!

it is very easy to get to State College downtown, stadium and etc. It is perfect radius. It is easy to drive from and to route 322. One lady was helpful to us.
