This stay in Durnstein was a perfect escape. The town is incredibly quaint and charming, and perfect for a quiet weekend away. The apartment was well situated, spacious and had everything we needed. It was a little tricky finding it, but after a quick stop at the Hotel Schloss reception, we were in and had a great stay

Place is really nice to stay, surrounding by vineyards. Whole apartment is accomodate, clean and new. But few things we were missing - trash can, there was only one garabage can behind the apartment, which was full. And no trash can even on toilet or kitchen. Also no extra toilet paper, soup for hand and dishwasher tablets. They also advertise - wine menu and appricot juice, but on bottle price for wine was unereadable and juice was missing. During the sitting on tearacce we can not find light. But neverthless still it was amazing stay.

Severe Heat & Uninhabitable Space: The apartment reached an unbearable 31 degrees Celsius with a non-functioning/inadequate cooling setup. Because of this, all three guests were forced to cram into a single 1st-floor room to sleep for both nights. Severe Sanitation and Cleanliness Issues: Upon arrival, the apartment was not ready. We found an unwashed dishwasher containing dishes from the previous occupant, left-behind socks, dirty mattresses, and missing promised welcome items (such as initial coffee). Biohazard / Health Concerns: We found swarms of flies originating directly from uncollected garbage left outside your property for days or weeks. Abusive Staff Conduct: When seeking assistance, Wachau Living staff members were profoundly unprofessional, dismissive, and rude.

Such a great spot! Bus 715 from Krems literally stops and picks up right in front. What a great off the beaten path stop! Best sleep in the most comfortable bed ever!

This is an amazing property! Perfect location. A spacious, beautiful apartment - so nice I almost just wanted to hang out there on the terrace all day. It was clean, modern, and well maintained.
