Breakfast had a good variety. Friendly staff! Room was clean, easy to control temperature. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Only negative was the hockey team kids were too loud and uncontrolled that our girls were unable to enjoy the pool Friday and Saturday evenings. The team had a few parents supervising but they were enjoying there adult drinks more than supervising their kids.

Staff was slow when we needed pillows for the pullout couch and towels had to gobto the front desk multiple times to get them myself. The pool was nuts after a bunch of kids hockey teams checked in trying to have a relaxing swim with my little kids then they showed up with no reguard for anyone else in the pool screaming jumping into thre pool from all over the place so we just ended up leaving

Clean and well organized. The staff was excellent and very friendly; they even seemed to all be enjoying their jobs. The hotel is a short walk from many restaurants and stores including Costco. The breakfast was pretty good as far as continental breakfasts go also. As a bonus, the hotel has 2 free Charge Point chargers for electric vehicles which is wildly convenient if you drive an electric car.

Parking was limited, should having more space especially when big events are happening g in Edmonton and rooms are sold out. Even an overflow parking lot. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious, the pool & hot tub were awesome.

I stayed here on a very busy weekend and there was absolutely no parking left when I arrived. I had to park along an alley across the way then worry if I’d be towed. The hotel is new and generally appears clean, but I could tell the one bed had not been cleaned between guests as there was a lot of hair on it. The room was quiet.

Hotel is very clean! Rooms are large, beds comfy, carpets clean, bathroom clean, and secure. We stayed a week and had no issues at all. Breakfast everyday was good. Offered a variety of items. The pancakes were great! Will look to stay here again when we go back to visit our daughter

Lots of construction around and in hotel. Difficult traversing business mall with camper to enter and exit. Beds extremely uncomfortable and hard pillows to. Shower door doesn’t stay closed. Hall smells of urine. Appeared clean by sight. Friendly staff. Keurig coffee is nice.

Upon arrival to our room we discovered that our sheets on the bed were not clean and had hair all through it even up to the pillows. We went to the Front Desk to let them know and they had someone come right away to change them. They had no warm or hot water for the shower on both days we stayed which is frustrating and unnecessary as I’m sure they are full quite frequently and should anticipate be able to account for that.

Overall we had a great time. Breakfast was good. Room was big and spacious and clean. We stayed in 216. The pool was clean and well maintained. It was quite empty when we stayed there. But it got so crowded on Friday evening. There was more check-ins that evening. The hallways were neat and well taken care of. The only thing that was a turn off was the smell of urine or some type of stench in the 2nd floor corridor. There was obviously something wrong with the ventilation in the corridor. The room we stayed in had no smell. And the smell was not there in the lobby or breakfast area. I am not sure if the smell were there in the other floors. I noticed once when the ventilation in the corridor was running the smell was less. Hope this improves. Overall we will come back again.

Had to go to the front desk 3 times to have keys re-programmed to get in room finally maintenance came to fix. Room had garbage in a few places steamy mirrors hair in shower, dirty bathroom floor not the cleanest. Then when we came back to hotel in evening there was not a single parking spot to be found. Had to park on private parking property informed front desk she didn’t know what to even say. So I said I get a ticket and the hotel gets it. And I walked away. I’ve seen other complaints on this issue they should make an agreement with property beside as long as vehicles gone before opened hours so there is a better response for zero parking situations. Pretty stupid to not have enough spots for guests.

When I arrived at the hotel the gentleman at the desk did his best to get me properly checked in. I received my key and headed up to the room, upon swiping the key and opening the door I was met by someone else already in the room. I was informed that they had arrived 2 hours earlier. I went down to the desk and had them reassign me a room “to myself please”. The second room was not occupied but it did not give me a lot of comfort even though I locked and bolted the door. I found this interesting as I had read a review before coming where another guest had as I can only imagine was similar experience at this same location. Also it would appear they are still using a very ancient way to organize their reservations (a large recipe file box(?!)). The breakfast was ok it was warm and plenty of food with some selection. I have stayed at a few Holiday Inns in the past year in both Canada and the USA and I think at this time it will be my last planned stay with this franchise of hotels. It would appear that the quality and safety is not a priority for them anymore.

I booked this hotel because I was travelling with my 2 cats. All the other hotels that I found stated that there was a fee "per pet" which made them more expensive than this hotel. This hotel's listing specifically states a "$25 fee per accommodation per day". So this worked out cheaper, and was very convenient. When i checked out today I was charged $25 per pet, not per accommodation. I asked why that was, and was told that is the policy. When I mentioned that the listing specifically says otherwise, instead of looking at the listing and then adjusting my bill, the person at the desk told me she would have the manager look at the listing and then if need be they would adjust the listing. I don't think that was the appropriate course of action. Having now looked at the IHG website, I see the stated policy on that site is as the desk attendant stated. However, as IHG chooses to list their properties in Expedia, I feel they have a business arrangement, and should therefore take ownership of the pricing that their partner (Expedia) is advertising.

The hotel is located in a great spot in St Albert within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shopping. The hotel is basically new so very nice. Good pool and slide. The breakfast is quite good with lots of selection. The hotel,is dog friendly which is much appreciated. Overall - excellent.

Excellent stay again. This is our go - to hotel when we are in St Albert or Edmonton. Large rooms with all the comforts of home. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean. Easy check in. Breakfast is very good with lots of choice.
