First class room & facilities. Just be aware that the rooms are above a bar which is frequented by teenagers & can get a bit noisy at the weekend but nothing too crazy.

We stayed in the family room. It was so clean and the beds were comfortable. Check-in etc was all very straight-forward and the room was definitely 4* quality. It was also great to have use of the Ballyliffin Lodge facilities - a real bonus. (We ate at Jack's in the Ballyliffin Lodge both nights - superb food.) The only downside was the noise. Our first night wasn't too bad, but there was a party in the pub on the second night and the noise continued into the early morning. Saying that, we would stay again but probably only mid week.

Beautiful rooms, clean, fresh and very new. Right in the middle of town, parking available in the front of the building. There is no food available at the hotel, but there are some great food places within view… A proper Irish pub location.

To check in we had to make our way through 50 drunk 18 year olds to the bar. Then drag our suitcases up the stairs to reach a small room. When I originally booked through Expedia the property's name was Joyce's Bed and Breakfast, but they serve no food whatsoever. The noisy guests downstairs could be heard from our room and I was afraid of leaving our rental car on the street with all of the drunk people wandering around.

Diamond Cafe across the Diamond was great for breakfast. Opens at 8:30 am. Check-in was easy; just got the keys at the bar and the hostess showed us the room. Street parking was easy and free. We based here to explore the northernmost part of Donegal.

No fuss, no frills accommodation, exactly what was required for our stay. Very large, comfortable beds, easy check-in and out from friendly staff. Full use of excellent gym, pool and all facilities at nearby Ballyliffin Lodge. Ample free parking on High St. Would recommend and re-visit.

The room was spacious, 2 king size beds which were very comfy. We have an adult son with special needs and isn't independent, the room was exactly what we needed. Each day we returned to find our beds made up and clean towels. Very clean and the staff very friendly. The hotel was super easy to check into, room was really clean and beautifully presented with tea/coffee in & small selection of toiletries. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars however is that I had an early flight and the music and noise from the bar downstairs or next door (both lively pubs) was on until 1am and kept me awake even with all the windows closed. Otherwise, if you’re not bothered by the noise, this would easily be a 5* review.

The room was clean and had all the amenities you would need but being above a pub/bar was not clearly explained. It was 02:30 when the dj stopped playing the overly loud music it was so loud that our crockery was rattling in our room. We contacted expedia and i took videos as we weren't able to contact the host. We left the next morning and booked into a differnt hotel, although we were due to stay the second night. Currently waiting for the team at expedia to make contact with the host and get back to me regarding this.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was right above the bar and charming street.That was fine until in the wee hours and people gathered outside to socialize before going home - in a way it added to the atmosphere but if sleeping is your main goal bring earplugs.

Rooms are perfect and big enough! Great location and when we checked in they told me that a local restaurant would be great for a meal. They weren’t wrong as it was a lovely restaurant and great food! All in all a perfect location to visit Inishowen

The room was nice but it faced the main road and was right above the pub entrance and was very noisy, late into the night (woken up at 2:30am). A fridge would be a nice addition.

Directions for how to check in were not clear. You must go into the bar and ask. Very loud techno music. Nothing authentic Irish about it. The keys to the door were extremely difficult to use. The woman who showed us to our room was very nice.

Stayed here with work. With the expectation of a bed and a hot shower. After travelling a few hours i arrived around 7pm . Went to have a shower no hot water. Went out to get some food and returned around 9 and again checked the water. Still no hot water. When i went to the bar to query there was some support offered, boiler checked but still no hot water and the offer of a complimentary pint was offered but this was not welcome as i was there on buisiness and just required a hot shower and especially for the following morning before work. The following morning the shower was freezing cold. I had to suffer it and then go to work. I attempted to call later on around 5pm, there was no answer. I phoned the following day and spoke to one of the staff at Joyces and was told the owner would phone back which at this point over a week later i am still waiting. I also wrote to Joyces via hotels.com but didnt recieve a response. I would no recommend this accommodation as the basics of a hot shower were not met and furthermore they did not even have the courtsey to phone back to speak about this

Really lovely little pub and rooms are comfortable and immaculate. A great base to go out exploring the local area and the scenery is stunning. So many places nearby to eat and food is allowed in the rooms. Our only fault was the noise in the evening but it is above a lively pub so is understandable and it goes quiet once the pub shuts. Great wee place.

What a nice set up, very nice rooms over a bar. Had to walk to find dinner but it was still off season. This is a beautiful part of a beautiful country.

Our first night wasn't too bad, but there was a party in the pub on the second night and the noise continued into the early morning. Saying that, we would stay again but probably only mid week.

Beautiful rooms, clean, fresh and very new. Right in the middle of town, parking available in the front of the building. There is no food available at the hotel, but there are some great food places within view… A proper Irish pub location.

Rooms are perfect and big enough! Great location and when we checked in they told me that a local restaurant would be great for a meal. They weren’t wrong as it was a lovely restaurant and great food! All in all a perfect location to visit Inishowen

To check in we had to make our way through 50 drunk 18 year olds to the bar. Then drag our suitcases up the stairs to reach a small room. When I originally booked through Expedia the property's name was Joyce's Bed and Breakfast, but they serve no food whatsoever. The noisy guests downstairs could be heard from our room and I was afraid of leaving our rental car on the street with all of the drunk people wandering around.

Situated conveniently in the center of town. Restaurant a couple doors down which served dinner until 8, which was good due to our later arrival. Diamond Cafe across the Diamond was great for breakfast. Opens at 8:30 am. Check-in was easy; just got the keys at the bar and the hostess showed us the room. Street parking was easy and free. We based here to explore the northernmost part of Donegal.

Definitely the place to stay if you're looking to do a pub crawl or night out, as it's above a pub. I have no complaints and would definitely stay there again.

The room is very good/excellent. Very clean. 2 huge comfort beds. Decent shower although the head was attached to a very short fixed?? Could have done with a smaller shower head or a longer fixed arm to get the drench effect from the large head. Parking is on street but no problem at all. Plenty of places to eat within 2 minutes walk. A little bit of noise from people down in the bar at turning out time but not bad and after midnight not a sound! Overall pretty good value and comfortable.
