Moxy Hamburg City

Wir buchen das Moxy immer wieder gerne, da wir bis jetzt noch nie enttäuscht worden sind! Grade über ein Wochenende ist das Moxy perfekt geeignet. Das Frühstück und die Cocktails sind sehr vielfältig und falls man doch mal größeren Hunger hat, kann man sich eine Pizza machen lassen. Neben dem Tischkicker im Eingangsbereich hat man mehrere Brettspiele zur Verfügung, falls man den Abend mit Cocktails in der Lobby ausklingen lassen will. Alles in allem ist das Moxy wirklich sehr gut und wird für uns immer bei einem Hamburg-Trip eine der ersten Anlaufstellen sein.

Schöner Restaurantbereich, super Parkmöglichkeit in der Tiefgarage.

Hôtel moderne mais pas neuf donc pas au standard des Autres MOXY où tout est digitalisé (iPad dans les chambres, …). Chambre et literie correctes. Pas d’oreiller supplémentaire dans la chambre. Salle d’eau petite avec traces de calcaire et joints à changer. Ventilation mécanique simple. Petit déjeuner à 21€ et médiocre : œufs brouillés trop cuits (même à 9h), choix limites de fromages (3) et de pains (3). Pas de jus de fruits frais (2 machines automatiques pour jus concentrés d’orange et de pamplemousse). Salle de fitness très basique : 2 vélos électriques, pas de tapis de course ni de rameur. plein de poids libres et un banc mais aucun appareil guidé. Serviettes et eau filtrée à discrétion. Accès S et U Bahn en 10 minutes a pied. Travaux de voirie en cours aux alentours de la Gare de Berliner Tor (12/2024).

Le séjour a été très agréable grâce à une équipe exceptionnelle. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal. En dehors de la chambre, les espaces communs sont très agréables, en particulier la salle de sport de haut niveau. Le petit-déjeuner est bien achalandé avec suffisamment de choix, même pour ceux qui sont intolérants au gluten. Le personnel est amical, sans fard et particulièrement professionnel.

Nettes Personal und Unterkunft ist ca 5 Gehmimuten von der SBahn entfernt. Zimmer sind gut und ruhig (auch zur Straße hin). Das Fitnessstudio könnte etwas großzügiger (u.b. Laufband) ausgestattet sein und die Handtücher dort regelmäßiger ausgetauscht/nachgefüllt werden.

Riesen Baustelle vor dem Hotel, keine Parkmöglichkeiten ausser das Parkhaus vom Hotel selbst für 25€ die Nacht! Viel zu teuer. Das Essen ebenfalls für das Angebotene definitiv zu teuer. Schmeckt und sieht aus wie TK Ware.

Das Hotel war sehr hellhörig, man hat auf dem Flur alles mitbekommen und gehört. Beim Frühstück war es sehr voll & einige Sachen haben am Buffet gefehlt oder waren einfach leer. Auch war die Parksituation nicht schön. Das Parkhaus war komplett voll, so dass man irgendwo in der Nähe ein Parkplatz auf der Straße finden musste. Trotzdem war es nett.

Top Hotel, netter Service, lockere Atmosphäre, saubere Zimmer, tolle Lobby - Anbindung in Ordnung, aber generell nicht die beste Lage

Gute Anbindung, S-Bahn oder mit Auto. Bad könnte etwas gepflegter sein sowie Schimmel in der Dusche. Super Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße, Tages Höchstpreis liegt dort 10€. Freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Good facilities, nice shared spaces on the ground floor (restaurant, bar, games, decoration). Friendly staff. Spacious and very clean room. Good value for the price.

Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas mehr Auswahl bieten bei dem Preis aber die Zutaten waren frisch und es wurde auf Qualität wert gelegt. Zimmer ist sauber und der Zimmerservice hat jeden Tag die Betten gemacht und geputzt. Der Service allgemein war top, bei Fragen stand jederzeit jemand zur Verfügung und das Personal war immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und Lösungsorientiert. Auch das frühe Auschecken um 5h war kein Problem.

Bei Ankunft fanden wir Haare auf dem Bett & Bettbezug, Kopfkissen waren fleckig, Ablageorte ebenfalls nicht sauber.

Room was clean and check in staff very polite

Staff was unfriendly when we arrived, just because of the fact that we arrived at the hotel a bit earlier than check-in, didn’t greet us but just told us directly that we are too early. Property and room is old, wasn’t cleaned properly, there were still hair in the shower and the door handle of the bathroom was broken, the wall hat dark spots and the curtains were dirty as well. We used to like the Moxy in that location but it has changed negatively since we visited 1,5 years ago. Will not book it again, since prices are still high but service and location is pretty low.

Ein tolles Hotel mit ganz tollem und freundlichem Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Duschkabine war an den Ecken etwas schmuddelig.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr sauber, wenig Lärm und nettes Personal. Tolle Bar und Lounge, super Ort zum Chillen. Die Umgebung ist nicht so schön aber nah am Bahnhof. Ich empfehle sehr!

Hotel moderno, adecuada atención en recepción, aunque no nos informaron en el check-in de un depósito de 100€ para posibles gastos. Habitación amplia, cama cómoda. Se echa en falta algún cajón, no hay ninguno.

Tæt på U-bahn. Ingen skrivebord på værelset.

The location is currently surrounded by heavy construction, both around the hotel and near the train station, which makes the area less pleasant to walk through. Unfortunately, the room lacked many of the basics I would expect for comfort: no mini fridge, no complimentary water, no coffee or tea-making facilities, no air conditioning, and no safe. I was surprised given this is a Marriott property. While the staff were friendly and the room itself was clean, it was missing those small conveniences that really make a stay enjoyable. If you wanted water or coffee, you had to go downstairs to the front desk and pay inflated prices. There are limited nearby stores to pick up your own drinks or snacks. Overall, a clean hotel with kind staff, but lacking amenities and surrounded by construction — personally wouldn’t stay again.

Estradia boa, tudo OK, apenas senti falta de mini frigobar no quarto

The hotel itself is fairly new and is great - nice big beds, spacious rooms. Powerful shower. The bar area downstairs is great, they serve breakfast and food there but we didn't eat. My only issue is they advertise having air conditioning - however in reality its just an air purifier - we we told this by a staff member when we went to complain that our AC didn't seem to be working. Had I known this I wouldn't have chosen this hotel. My partner and I have. AC in our room at home, as we like the room to be cold. We struggled to sleep here, as we were too hot - even with the window open. The area was nice, close to a train station where you could go to/from the airport and anywhere else you needed.

Moxy is altijd prima in orde. Wel een wat kleine kamer zonder opbergruimte, dus kleren bleven in de koffer. Ook jammer van de kamer naast de lift. Elke keer hoorden een ping bij het aankomen van de lift. 's nachts en in het weekend gratis parkeren in de straat.

Sehr schöne Lobby/Aufenthaltsbereicht Auf den Zimmern gibt es keine Kleiderschränke und Tresor. Hat uns nicht weiter gestört, waren nur verwundert.

Room was too hot. Underbed lighting set off by motion was activated from movement of the duvet and woke me up several times

Zimmer sauber und super eingerichtet. Nur Richtung Straße zu laut (auch nachts). Beim nächsten Mal buchen wir hinten raus.

Had my room emptied after 2 nights, even though had booked 3 nights. Reason given by housekeeping was because there was no bag . My suitcase took 3 days to catch up with me as had been lost by the airline. Comlained to reception, apologies offered. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. No draws or cupboards to store anything. On check out was over charged city tax. Complained later in day by phonecall as unable to contact them by email. Manager said would look into the matter and call me back. To date no contact from him. Stay away from all Moxys, this is the 2nd one I've used. Enough is enough never aain.

Check out'a kadar her şey güzeldi ancak sabah check out için resepsiyona gittiğimizde önümüzde 20 kişi vardı ve tek kişi çalışıyordu. Borcumuzun olmadığını ve uçağa yetişmemi gerektiğini belirttik.Çalışan, sıraya geçmemizi istedi. Biz de oda kartını bırakıp oteli terk ettik. Yılda yaklaşık 50 gece otel konaklamam vardır. Ben böyle bir check out sırası hayatımda görmedim.

We are Hilton Diamond level. We found ourselves in Hamburg to go on a cruise and there was no availability at the Hilton. We decided to roll the dice and stay here. The staff were an 11 out of 10. Every interaction with them was awesome. We mistakingly printed our cruise form on double sided and needed it printed single sided. The hotel does not have a 'business center' but they said, email what we need printed to them. It was done immediately. We were stupid typical Americans and forgot that electrical outlets are not universal :) They were considerate enough to lend us an adaptor for no charge. Our luggage was lost by BA and I told the staff that they may be delivered. The staff asked if we wanted to be texted or called when the luggage arrived. Just the smallest nicest touch! We did not get the breakfast option and that worked out for us. We did use the bar/food service and was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost. For other Americans out there, imagine what a 8 Buffalo Wing and Fries would cost at a Hilton. It was 9 euros. It was also damn good! We wound up having that twice during the 3 days we were there! The location of the hotel is about a five minute walk to the Berliner Tor train station. About 1000' past the station is a huge grocery store, Kaufland. Now, the room, ok, it was small compared to US Hiltons. It was typical for EU rooms. We liked the automatic floor lights.

The property have repeatedly ignored my communication when requesting the return of my security deposit for the room. Upon checkout I was informed that it would take 1-2 days for the €90.00 (3 night) deposit to be returned to my account and I have still not received this. I emailed twice and called once and would advise caution when checking in and asked for a deposit on the room on top of the full booking fee. Very disappointed as I am out of pocket due to sheer ignorance and fraudulent processing of security deposit. This is despite me emailing my IBAN details afterwards too.

I had a wonderful experience staying at The Moxy. From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and always ready to help with any questions I had. The hotel itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant, offering genuine hospitality that made me feel truly welcome.

Super nettes Personal. Man bekommt auch einen Willkommensdrink. Die S-Bahn ist fußläufig ca 10 min entfernt.

My belief in the Moxy brand has been greatly impacted by this stay. I was disappointed by my first interaction with the front desk, when I was allocated a room with two single beds for me to sleep in. My request for a later check out was reluctantly agreed (one hour's grace), but not actually honoured. And the pizza I had from the 24-hour pizza bar (£10.48p for an 8-incher) was heated to a point where it was near inedible. In fact, the only staff I encountered who seemed genuinely friendly were the guys servicing the rooms. I can almost guarantee that I'll not stay here again, having paid too whack for an indifferent stay.

The staff at Moxy Hotel are lovely and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. My room was clean and comfortable. The mattresses are quite firm. The hotel is right by a S and U Bahn station which is convenient for travelling into the centre and from the airport. When I stayed (Nov 2025) there are works being done right by the hotel, on the walk from the station. This didn’t disturb my sleep in any way, though it means you have to walk down a small, quiet, poorly lit path to get to the hotel, which can feel intimidating if arriving alone in the dark - although, there are many other hotel customers from Moxy and nearby hotels using the same route all the time so it felt safe. There aren’t a lot of food options in the area but the hotel does serve food and you are a couple S Bahn stops from the centre. Overall I really enjoyed my stay, as I do any time I’m in a Moxy Hotel, particularly the welcoming and caring approach from all hotel staff.

Personal und Hotel alles fein. Blöd ist nur die Baustelle und vor allem der Zugang zur Bahn. Kein Fahrstuhl. Furchtbare steile Holztreppe über eine art Tunnel. Ganz blöd.

Gute Verkehrsanbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln

Eigentlich eine gute Unterkunft, aber die Lage ist nicht die beste, in Bezug auf fußläufig erreichbar. Ansonsten durchaus zu empfehlen.

Das Moxy Hamburg City liegt ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß von der U-Bahn Ration Berliner Tor. Aktuell ist dort eine große Baustelle, die erst 2027 fertiggestellt wird. Lage ist okay, aber auch nicht mehr. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet, freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstücksbuffet.

Hotel had good service, was very clean, and presented a great price. The location was good but not great. I would stay here again if the price was right. Personally, I really like this brand and I like the style. It’s a comfortable place. It is very convenient to the train and it is near the central station.

Fint hotell, trevlig personal. Vi hade inte frukost då det inte ingick och skulle kosta oss 250kr per person varje dag! Hotell ligger ca 5-10 min från tunnelbanan. Dock var området runtomkring väldigt obehagligt. Mycket fylla, droger , hemlöshet. Vi vågade inte gå ut på kvällen.

Nice clean room, good breakfast.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer, das Bad war allerdings sehr klein. Wir sind große Personen, in der Dusche muß man schon akrobatisch veranlagt sein, um ordentlich duschen zu können. Das Zimmer müßte auf jeden Fall mal neu gestrichen werden, auch im Bad viele unschöne Flecken und Macken an der Wand. Die Betten war für uns zu hart, aber das liegt ja im Geschmack eines jeden selbst. Das Frühstück war ok, aber nicht mehr. Schlange stehen am Frühstück ist für mich kein Urlaub. Dann fehlte einiges und wurde nicht so schnell wieder nachgelegt. 1 Sorte Scheibenkäse finde ich bei dem Preis wirklich unangemessen. Mini Aufbackbrötchen. Erst stand man an der Schlange zum Essen, dann an der Schlange für die Getränke. Insgesamt war das Personal freundlich, aber alles sehr unpersönlich. Die Lage ist ok, U-Bahn ist zu Fuß in 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Insgesamt ist das Hotel ok, löst aber keine Begeisterungsstürme aus.

Tolle Lage für einen stadtbesuch, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Schönes neues modernes Hotel, super Zimmer und ruhige Lage. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist allerdings eine Katastrophe - gutes und reichhaltiges Angebot. Allerdings sind 15 Minuten anstehen kein guter Start in den Tag! Super schlecht geplant, das buffet ist viel zu klein für eine solche Größe des Hotels. Schade!
