Excellent location. The views from our bedroom windows were amazing—- blue waters on one side, and on the other, the next door church. A recommended restaurant was first-rate—-such fresh seafood and a friendly staff. It was relaxing after a delicious dinner to stroll by the shore as the sun set. However, the welcome we received at the hotel itself lacked warmth just as the bathroom amenities were disappointingly too basic. A benefit was being close to the airport.

Cute, old-school hotel with some recent updating, it appears. TBH, only booked for an overnighter for an early morning flight out of Split (8 mins), but wish I'd arrived earlier for the sunset restaurant and pub scene at the waterfront. Elevator was nice after lugging bags up and down stairs everywhere else. FYI, free parking is street parking or in the lot across the little plaza. Both were available in early October with no problem. Caution: Google Maps isn't the best on these byzantine little streets, so come in from the north side if you're driving. Overall, Nice!

It exceeded our expectations! Free parking right in front, recently renovated-awesome and staff were great! The breakfast buffet was not available early and we had to leave to catch a ferry, so a kind staff member made us scrambled eggs!! Very much appreciated!!! And we made our ferry :-) The air conditioning was not working however we could open a window which worked just fine. And the lovely church bells ring regularly!

The location is convenient. Close to the airport and to the many restaurants. I was upset with the room conditions. First, walls were cracked and lots of water in the floor next to our bed. The sheets didn’t feel clean neither the bathroom. The hair dryer was not working. For the price I was expecting a lot more! I am glad we were only there for a few hours and for that reason I didn’t ask to change rooms. We were exhausted and just wanted to get some sleep before a long flight.

Fabulous stay at Hotel Benjamin. Lovely clean and spacious room. The bell tower was next to our room and we loved hearing the bell chime. Continental breakfast included. Perfect hotel since we landed late in the evening.

The staff and hotel were really nice. Location is great right beside the sea and very close to some nice restaurants, including one that specialises in cakes and ice cream. Be aware that there is church right next door and the bell tolls the 1/2 hour from about 6 am until early evening. It was t a problem for us but we weren’t aware before arriving.

Beautiful property nicely located by the sea! Staff very kind and rooms exceptionally clean! Lots of tasty restaurants nearby. The only caveat I would give is that it's right next to a church whose bells ring, on the hour, from 0600 to midnight.

Hotel Benjamin was fabulous. As soon as we got there we loved the look of the outside and inside. The reception we got was fantastic. We were given a packed lunch as we were going to leave early in the morning.

We arrived late due to delayed flights. Were lucky enough that guests were outside hotel and helped calling the person in charge of reception who lived 10 minutes away. She came over and all was then ok. She was great and everything was fine from there on. All of this happened around 1130 pm. Not their fault not our fault.

There was no one at the desk. Slight panic on my part. A young man helped me navigate the foreign phone number. Namely how to dial a plus, and the desk clerk came right down. Breakfast is good. Nice quiet area.

Hotel modern und sauber. Restaurant ist erst ab Juli geöffnet, dies sollte bei der Buchung kommuniziert werden. Das Frühstück ist mit einer Sorte Brot, einer Sorte Käse und eine Sorte Salami und etwas Gemüse für 14€ pro Tag viel zu teuer.

Overnight stay before a flight, loved this quaint little hotel, Not much to do in this area of Split but bus access to the old town was convenient. Great staff, pretty good breakfast, Park, restaurants and marina within 2 minutes, terrific for a short stay!
