Feels like you are stepping back in time. The history that must be housed here! We enjoyed staying here and will stay here again. Ultra modern appliances available in the “family room”. Coffee in the morning was so appreciated and having the fridge for the kids’ to have their snacks was perfect. The owner was sooo welcoming and we felt very much at home.

Cute boutique hotel in a small little town, perfect for a two-night stay with about 1-2 hour drive to Yosemite. Very easy late check in!

Finn and Alexandria are excellent hosts. The hotel is a fantastic old building which has its quirks but that is all part of the charm. Great location for Yosemite. The most comfortable beds we have had so far on our two week road trip.

Staff was nonexistent. They advertise on Hotels.com that the front desk is open between 4 to 9 pm. We arrived at 8:37 pm and we were only left a key under the mat. I received my receipt a few days prior that we would have rooms 1 and 3 and when we got there, they left keys for rooms 2 and 4 which face the roof of the building next door. There was no one there to talk to. The rooms are small and the pillows were too firm. Also, no one made us aware that their restaurant is only open on Friday and Saturday until we called to let them know that we were arriving around 8:30. (We stayed on a Sunday night). This information is not on Hotels.com. Beware that Groveland is almost a ghost town on Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter. I would not stay here again.
