Hyatt Place Titusville Kennedy Space Center

Perfect location by Kennedy Space Center. They have a launch viewing room on site. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. My king suite was PERFECT with classy styling and furniture.

I’ve never been to this area of Florida before so I booked it rather blindly just by looking at maps. The Hyatt Place Titusville turned out to be a very good choice! The hotel is not really near anything on the highway and that could be offputting to some folks that want many other stores close by but that doesn’t really bother me at all. The hotel had ample parking but not much shade anywhere from the hot summer Florida sun. As I walked into the hotel I was professionally greeted by a very beautiful receptionist/host named Talynn who quickly and efficiently processed my reservation and gave me my room key. She was very attentive to my questions and was a great deal of help. I didn’t need to interact with any other staff members. The facility has an outdoor pool, a fitness area, and a restaurant/bar. In the morning they have a rather nice spread of breakfast foods for the guests. The room was very clean. Many hotels are also adopting the shampoo and conditioner and body wash bottles in the showers instead of the small little bottles. I’m not 100% sure I like this method but even very upscale hotels are doing it. The beds were comfy; the hvac was easy to use. There were plenty of outlets and also usb ports for extra convenience . I’d return here very quickly if I could. But if you come in the meantime, enjoy your stay. And tell Talynn I said hello.

Rooms were clean. Shortly after checking in the shower in our room wasnt working and they switched our room immediately. Breafast bar was great. The only issues were that one elevator was down the entire time and all the lounge chairs by the pool were ripped or broken. The pool also hadnt been cleaned and had a ton of leaves.

Staff members were great; very attentive and welcoming. Everything in the hotel was great besides the pool. The pool was dirty, extremely dirty and cold. I asked if it had heaters to which they said yes but unfortunately when I tested the water it was freezing.

Nice property. One elevator was out of service and the urinal in the lobby bathroom was not working. Otherwise good property.

Nice viewing area for launches

We stayed here as it was close to the Kennedy space centre. The 5th floor has an amazing viewing area where we got to watch a spacex launch - so cool. The breakfast was very good and included. The staff were friendly and so helpful.

The door was open when we arrived to our room. The bathroom had not been cleaned, there was hair all over the shower and the sink was dirty. The nightstand had water marks on it along with crumbs. Bed was made and we did have fresh towels.

Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with a good variety of foods.

Our original room had a maintenance issue before we arrived but we were given another, larger room instead. When we opened the door, it was obvious it had never been cleaned after the last guest even though it was around five p.m. We were then given a different room, much smaller, unsure if it was what I had originally reserved. The lobby was dusty and the breakfast so-so. Overall, a nice hotel with friendly staff but for almost $300 for one night, I’d have expected a little more. I will go for a less expensive option next time because I really didn’t see the value.

Pros: Reasonably priced, convenient location, very quiet, the beds were very comfortable and free breakfast included. The front desk agent was very nice. The AC was okay, it took a pretty long time to kick in but once it does, it was nice and cold. Water temperature in the shower was great, and there were plenty of towels. Lobby is nicely decorated and looked clean. Cons: The room was not very clean-pubic hair all over the toilet, hair on the bed and we could smell someone's cologne on the bedding. Water damage on the ceiling. Carpet and furniture full of stains. Dispensers for shower gel were completely empty. I was surprised at this because I read the reviews and the majority was about superb cleanliness. The bathroom door is clouded glass so if you're looking for privacy from your travel companions you won't get it. The housekeeper dropped a bunch of f-bombs in front of my young child because the elevator door wouldn't close. I did mention some of these things and the desk agent was apologetic and offered points to my membership (that I only opened for this visit) which was very kind though unnecessary.

Mildew in the shower. Floors sticky. The soles of your shoes made squishy noise,. Beds are no longer made due to lack of staff. Receptionist needs to be more perceptive.

There were c*m stains on the couch and the floor. The pictures online made it seem like a newer hotel, and it might be, but it definitely is not taken care of. The hotel itself is on a main road, so it is very noisy at night. We checked in after 9pm after driving all day and didn't notice the stains until we had our kids settled. Since we were only staying a few hours before getting on the road again we just made the best of it (no one was aloud near the couch). We will not be staying at this hotel again.

I liked the camp fire, how safe and quiet was, the bathroom was nice, I didn't like the cleanliness, carpets in the room and outside the room needed to be vacuum.

Stayed one night before a cruise out of Cape Canaveral. Watched a rocket launch from the 5th floor viewing room. Only complaint is the floors needed vacuumed inside and out of the room and there were several hairs in the shower floor. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room was spacious. The location was great.

Clean hotel with easy access to the bar & restaurant. The only downside was there was one elevator working and our room had leftovers in the fridge from the previous guest.

The room was clean, spacious and we got to see a Space X launch right from our balcony! The staff was very nice and the breakfast had a decent spread

Great site! Our only problem was the room was too cold, and I couldn't adjust the a/c, so I simply turned it off! Very comfortable bed! Great breakfast included.

Large rooms, comfortable bed, lots of shower pressure

Room was clean and smelled nice. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s weird that the room didn’t have a microwave though.

We were allowed early check-in which was great. Hotel rooms are clean and updated. Only complaint is there were no curtains just window shades that still allowed a lot of light to come in. Complimentary breakfast was great, plenty of options. Would consider staying here again. Only 10 minutes away from KSC.

Actually it's a very good hotel. However I don't know why some noise was from the air conditioner occasionally.

We paid for 2 nights. left after 1nite stay~ bed and sofa bed back breakers...absolutely horrible! We barely slept bc of the discomfort. How can a fairly new hotel have such horribly uncomfortable beds?! We booked thru a 3rd party, therefore didnt qualify for a refund....

The room itself is great. Very spacious, comfortable beds, clean. I have 3 complaints, the first 2 are smaller and not deal breakers but the 3rd is the reason we won't be back. 1st, the pillows are fluffy but when you lay on them they squish down to virtually nothing. Even with 2, there's no enough support. 2nd, the shower head is ULTRA low flow, I actually have to take a much lower shower than normal because it takes so long to rinse off once you are soaped up. And lastly, the breakfast here is abysmal. The drinks are either not out when you go down, or gone already when you get there. The food choices were terrible, very little. Just fake scrambled eggs and sausage every day, cereal, or nasty tasting oatmeal. If you want pancakes or waffles, you have to pay for them at the bar/restaurant. No yogurt either which most continental breakfasts have. The milk for the cereal just gets put into pitchers, and sits out for who knows how long at a time. They had some bagels which were decent, bread for toast, and mini muffins which weren't very good either. If you go out for breakfast, it's a decent hotel, but we weren't interested in the extra expense for all 4 of us for that.

Everyone was very professional and nice. The receptionist at check-in was really exceptional. The TV in our first room was not working and he immediately changed the room. That was very exceptional because he had a long line of people checking in at that time.

I chose this property because it was relatively close to the cruise port (25 minutes). Once we arrived i found the property to be very clean. I had the opportunity to meet Manuel. I can’t say enough about this gentleman. He was very pleasant and amazingly helpful. Because we were extremely early for check in, once the request to hold our luggage was made he without hesitation obliged. Manuel throughout our stay showed the epitome of hospitality. No wonder he was crowned “ employee of the month”. Manuel is an absolute asset to this company. With that said I would be remise if I did not also mention the one and only reason I would not return to this location. (Ayesha) the mid shift front desk personnel. After check in we attempted to go to our room and relax but were met with a non working toilet. Ayesha was made aware of this not once but twice within a 4 hour time frame. Need I say unacceptable! My travel buddy was told that there was no maintenance person available and she would have to reach out to them. When I checked again 4 hours later I was told that as soon as maintenance arrived our room would be the first room they were sent to. Fast forward to the next shift 2 hours after making Ayesha aware for the second time and not so much as a plunger to attempt to rectify the problem, in walks Ron. My travel buddy went back to the desk for the 3rd time and Ron arrived at our room within minutes of starting his shift with guess what a plunger! To be continued….

Dear Expedia Customer Support, I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Titusville, booked through your site, and I’d like to request a refund due to several serious issues. The biggest problem was that both hotel elevators were out of service during our stay. We were on the fifth floor with a toddler and luggage and had to use the stairs repeatedly. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. Items were missing or stale, and the coffee was either unavailable or undrinkable. We had to go off-site for breakfast. On top of that, the shower had poor water pressure, blackout shades let in too much light, not enough towels were provided, and the hotel's listed online chat support was completely unresponsive. While the location was convenient and a few front desk staff were friendly, these issues made our stay stressful and uncomfortable. This is not the experience we expected from a Hyatt property booked through Expedia. I am requesting a refund and would appreciate your help in resolving this. Thank you!

Had to wait an hour for our room even though we arrived well after check in began. Was told they were short staffed and had to clean the room. No manager was available until a day later. Only compensation offered was a bottle of water! I kid you not. Was advised because we didn't book directly through the hotel, there was nothing they could do. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good but no staff watched to make sure food and tableware were restocked. We had to wait 10 minutes for forks and drinks.

The room was nice and clean.My reservations had gottenlost but the desk staff was very helpful I think his name was Manuel. He got us taken care of.

The service was out of this world given that they were horribly understaffed. Both the front desk and the bar had wonderful people working solo(!) for huge numbers coming through. They were cheerful and competent. (The owners need to hire more staff though.) Final thought, the hotel has an amazing balcony for watching rocket launches and the staff did a great job with that too! I would totally stay here again and recommend if you are visiting space center or coming to see a rocket launch.

Disappointed with our check in. We didn't get the room we booked and paid for and it wasn't communicated to us during our checkin..we discovered ourselves when we walked into the room. Did not switch us to the room type we booked, apparently none avaliable. Not impressed with the lack of communication.

Great location for Kennedy Space Center. Saw a night time rocket launch from our launch view room - awesome! Breakfast was basic but good, although breakfast seating was limited (and cold from the air con). Staff were lovely. Room was great. Loved our stay here. Need a car as there’s not much around the hotel.

10 minutes from Kennedy Space Center. Right off Rte 1 for restaurants and shopping.

Breakfast was typical American style making it a quick and easy start for the day. Perfect location for us because we flew into Orlando/Sanford airport for a cruise the next day out of Port Canaveral.

Good location for visiting KSC

This property is perfect for what we need it for…which is a place to sleep the night before we cruise. It is close to a lot of things but you need an Uber or transportation for sure in order to get around as nothing is within walking distance around the hotel.

Very secluded, but an overall nice, new-er, clean property.

The building, facilities, and rooms were all very clean, and the surrounding area was incredibly quiet. But above all, the breakfast was absolutely outstanding! We stayed for five days while my child attended a NASA camp, and the location was incredibly convenient. We had a very safe and comfortable stay together.

Great place to stay close to the space center. It was incredibly convenient and they even let us have an early check in. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to the space center.

This was a decent stay, but there wasn’t much around the hotel not even to walk to. Other than that everything else was decent.

The Breakfast could have been better. No waffle maker or cut up fresh fruit

Rooms were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Only thing we did not like was breakfast setup and LIMITED variety. Even other cheaper hotels have much more options. As big as the rooms are the breakfast section is lacking more tables as well. But other then this hotel was good.

Great bar with very good food. Bar prices are a bit high but staff was great. Would be nice if there was happy hour drinks/prices for a few hours.

The property itself was modern and rooms were clean but the pool was dirty. Our room had only been made up for 2 people when we arrived, not 4. Reception said they'd sort this but it still hadn't been done by 23:00 as they'd forgotten. At the bar, the drinks service was fine but food took an hour to come. Breakfast was limited. Overall, not worth the high price.

Great staff, so helpful Suzie who works in the lounge/dining room made use the most delicious Cobb salad. Breakfast was also great!!!!

The hotel.was beautiful and the staff was great! The only reason for the lost star is the breakfast. The inside of the fruit we had (2 apples and a banana) all had bad spots in them. The other breakfast items we had were not very good. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would come again, we would just dine elsewhere.

The breakfast was horrible, the food was burn and uncooked. There were not enough food, the coffee was extremely watery. The staff at tge breakfast station was very rude.

Quiet, clean & comfortable room. Breakfast was below average. Expected more from Hyatt. Everything was spaced out to take up the space. Coffee might as well been put in the breakfast nook. Nothing sweet to bite into and enjoy with coffee, unless you made toast with jelly. Might come back depending on price. Definitely nothing special about this place.

The breakfast menu was fresh, but there was not a whole lot of variety.
