VISIONAPARTMENTS Glattbrugg - self check-in

Das Appartementhotel ist auf neu gemacht, aber die Qualität der Ausstattung ist wirklich nicht gut. Es ist auch schon verhältnismäßig abgenutzt und nicht ganz sauber. An der Rezeption ist keiner und die Ansprechpartner im Stockwerk Nummer sieben (an der Bar) sind nicht gerade engagiert. Das aber viel größere Problem ist die Parksituation. Da es in der Nähe vom Flughafen handelt, sind dort keine Parkplätze vorhanden. Was ja auch nicht schlimm ist, wenn man in dem Parkhaus am Hotel parken könnte, hier muss online bezahlt werden und so weiter, damit man dort parken kann. Das habe ich alles nach meiner zehnstündigen Anreise gemacht inklusive Bezahlung, inklusive Erhalt der Rechnung. Ich kam aber in das Parkhaus nicht rein, das Hotel kann dir leider nicht weiterhelfen, die Hotline vom Parkhaus ist besetzt mit einem künstlichen Bot, irgendwann gelangt man dann zu einem Ansprechpartner bzw. Warteschleife in der Hotline, es geht aber niemand ran. Dort ist jedes Mal die Leiter unterbrochen worden nach circa 25 Minuten. Sprich ich habe dort vor der Hotel Garage circa 2 Stunden verzweifelt versucht in meine bezahlte Garage hinein zu gelangen. Ich habe mir nachher ein Parkhaus gesucht, was circa 2 km entfernt war und bin dann zu dem Hotel gelaufen.

Checkin difficile (heuresement que la personne du restaurant était très sympa et aidant), parking couteux, ambiance assez bizarre, des personnes qui errent dans certains endroits de l'hotel, des odeurs de cigarettes qui remontent dans les chambres. Début du petit déjeuner bien trop tardif et pas adapté aux personnes qui commencent tôt ! Dans l'ensemble devevant

The building is about a year old so the rooms and amenities should be in pretty fantastic condition but unfortunately something appears to be going wrong with this property. Both entrances to the building were broken the 1st day of our trip. The sensors on the sliding front doors were broken and the handle on the backdoor was broken. This meant people had to hold the doors open to enter the property or wait for someone to come out. Management didnt put signs out or didn't block the doors for some insane reason. I personally got stuck in the rain with our 3 year old holding groceries because the back door doesn't have an overhang. Eventually someone came out and we scooted in dripping wet. The overhead shower in our unit was broken the entire stay. This meant we used a shower spray nozzle which alternated from super hot to freezing. That was fun. Management said someone would fix it but they never arrived for our 4 day stay which was beyond annoying. We inquired pretty much each day of our stay. The front desk staff just shrugged and said a fix order was submitted. The gym is really quite nice minus the shattered mirror near the free weights. There were maintenance crews working on the sauna during our stay too. Here is the thing, the actual location is super nice being near the train station (right next door) and the rest of the building is really modern including the rooms. Leadership needs to evaluate what is broken with the maintaining of the facility though.

Es war bereits mein zweiter Aufenthalt in den VISIONAPARTMENTS in Glattbrugg, da ich die Unterkunft bei meinem ersten Besuch als sehr unkompliziert und komfortabel wahrgenommen habe. Super Anbindung mit der S-Bahn, praktische Einrichtung, modern, Fitnessbereich, Spa und Küchenzeile in der Wohneinheit sowie auf der 7. Etage. Dieses Mal war aber gut 1 Jahr später der Zustand deutlich schlechter als noch beim ersten Besuch. Die Rolladen haben nicht funktioniert, die Gardine hing halb herunter, sodass man sie nicht zur Seite ziehen konnte, im Gym fehlte die Langhantel und der Kabelturm war an einer Seite kaputt. Auf den Fluren und im Aufzug roch es sehr streng. Insgesamt sehr lieblos und im Vergleich zu dem Jahr zuvor etwas verwahrlost. Für den Preis und den Komfort bekommt man in Zürich dennoch nichts Vergleichbares. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass man an den Dingen arbeitet, um den Komfort zu bewahren.

Nice perk having a microwave and dorm size fridge in the room. The site has a restaurant/bar, and full, shared kitchen for people to cook. The bids were horrible to sleep on.

Found lots of hair In bed. No air conditioning. Very hot rooms. Saunas did not work. Shared kitchen was dirty. Close to train station so convenient travelling.

The parking is a nightmare and I was charged more than $30 a night. Asked for a refund and nothing was done.

Great place to stay while travelling. We loved how easy the check-in process was, which was just an email with the code to our apartment. Rooms were clean, bathroom was large, and we enjoyed having a kitchenette with a coffee machine also. The free laundry service was really helpful. Tried out the gym as well, very small but good if you are only staying for a couple of days.

Poor reception to address concerns , very hard parking spaces ,dirty hallways and messy lobby areas ( garbage overflowing).

Die Unterkunft war wirklich nicht sauber. Es lagen überall Haare, viele Flecken und es hat schlecht gerochen. Nur die Lage war gut weil der Bahnhof direkt nebenan ist. Ich würde nicht nochmal buchen und empfehle es auch nicht.

There bug bite whiich 10 spot on my daughter body. And the room was dirty.

You have to do the cleaning by yourself everyday. It takes time for them to give new bath towels. Cleanliness must be a priority, too!

La struttura è di recente costruzione, ma avrebbe già necessità di una grande manutenzione. Le camere, seppur ben strutturare e ben arredate avrebbero necessità di una pulizia più approfondita. Idem le zone condivise e l'ascensore.

The room is quite stuffy despite the AC being on and the elevators are dirty with garbage inside. There is no black out curtain so the light filters in through the beige curtain. The staff did provide me with an adapter upon my request but the customer service response is spotty since I asked to change my room and they did not send me a payment link to move to another room. The shower usually runs suddenly hot and cold and there is no room luggage storage. There is however a laundry room for guests to do laundry for free. Train is noisy throughout the night but is close to the train station.

I was appalled by the lack of service by vision apartments. I went to Switzerland for my honeymoon and I was disgusted by my accommodation. On the surface everything looks nice and modern but when the lack of cleanliness is shocking. The first apartment i went to had black hairs all over the floor, The second apartment had not even been touched since the previous guest checked out (the bed was messy, towels all over the floor etc). The third apartment also had hair all over the floor (I have photos to support all these statements). They then forced me to check out one night after my stay; threatening to charge me for late check out even though they never once mentioned that the third apartment i was given was only for one night. They then forced me to go back to the first apartment after saying it had been cleaned when in fact it still had hair all over the floor. The apartment also had no proper reception so every time guests had a problem, they would have to go to the bar on the 7th floor and then they were given a phone number & email address to contact customer service. This meant that any issues took a long time to resolve. The air conditioning in this place was also non-existent and June is a very humid month in Switzerland so it was very frustrating walking around the building & sleeping at night in the heat. This was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed at and I do not think expedia should be advertising this place.

I stayed with Vision apartment 5 star rating. It was so good an year ago. But now the walkways are dirty and smelly. The wifi doesn’t work. Also some strange people standing in front my room scrolling the phone. The staff were blocking the, when I was in a rush to leave the airport. They blocked the lift twice (on two lifts) to transport the house keeping accessories. Most immortally I didn’t get the access code until I get to Zurich. When I chased them they asked to email the ID copy. This is unacceptable. The automated system should have sent an email to provide the ID proof few days prior to the stay. Not happy with the booking and the stay this time.

The check in was a bit confusing and not communicated particularly well. You get an email with the code and room number in. The room number is in the form Glxxx. I didn’t have a clue what this meant until I asked the guy in the restaurant. Turns out the Gl is the location (Glatbrugg) and then the xxx would be your room number. When I checked in. There were an issue with spots of blood of the duvet. When I brought this up to the company (via email as there's no reception) they gave me a new room. This wasnt really communicated very well (no apology etc), i just recieved a new email similar to my first check in email, only with the title including the word *move*. To be fair they did get me a new room relatively late in the evening. The new room was cleaner than the first, but still not pristine. There were several long black hairs about the place. There were some strange quirks with both rooms. In the first room, the power outlet near the bed couldn't charge without the light being on. So no charging your phone at night! Neither room had a bin (apart from the little toilet area bin), which was a strange omission. I ended up just having to use the bin bag from the cupboard as a make-shift bin. The air con/cooler didn't cool the room down. It was noisy as well. Positives - location very good, near the train station and felt safe to me. - Fridge was nice to have - Shower was good. - Quiet. Didn't hear the other rooms at all. Would only stay if the price was right.

Very disappointing. Owners clearly spent a lot of money on the building which (was) quite classy but it is poorly maintained....dirty lifts, dirty corridors, smells, rubbish in the garage. Paint damage in rooms and corridors. Absolutely NO service - our TV had a problem, you have to call a call centre (no one on site), they said they would come they never did. Also an 220V Ac socket came off the wall..and they didn't come to fix it. They give you a kettle and coffee maker but NO coffee or tee. The place weird, Feels like someone is managing the hotel with an excel spreadsheet and dozens of sucontractors without EVER putting a foot in the place. TO BE AVOIDED

Room was nice and spacious with comfortable beds. The AC was working but did not cool the room down to the set temperature. The shower had a leak and no extra towels could be provided to mop it up. Overall it was a nice property but would want proper amenities/access to housekeeping before staying again.

The room was very small and hot. It would not cool down even with the thermostat being at the lowest temperature and you couldn’t open the window. You also couldn’t shut the blinds or drapes when the sun was beating in. Everything is self-serve and there is no one around to help you when you have questions. When you did happen to run into someone on the staff, they weren’t super friendly or welcoming. I did like that it was very close to the train and tram, and it did feel safe. And there are a few restaurants that are close enough to walk to and are open late in the area so we had options the night we arrived late. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillow was flat and there was only one per person. There is no privacy for the toilet or shower because the doors are see-through. Overall, it was ok, but so far, my least favorite hotel on my trip. I don’t think I’d choose to stay here again. It wasn’t too expensive so I guess you just get what you pay for.

The apartment itself is clean, well set up for a short stay and has most of the necessities. However, the room temperature was extremely high and it felt like oven. there is no way to open the windows to let the air in, and the temperature did not change no matter what setting we had the thermostat in. I would not stay here again just for that reason. Additionally, it took us a few messages via Expedia to receive the instructions for documents submission as well as check in - and certainly not 24 hours in advance. NO answer at any time of day or night when calling the phone number indicated in the listing (with Poland area code).

The place was very close to the airport which was a plus. I grew to like the use of an access code instead of a key card, though I was annoyed I had to follow up with them on the day of for my code. The apartment was tiny but had a great use of space. I especially loved the bathtub.

The apartment was extremely hot. Unless you were not moving around you could stay cool but if you are doing something like getting ready or packing it was hot. We made sure the AC was on but it didn’t help at all.

The room was really small and very hot with no AC. But everything was clean and cozy. We ended up reaching a décent tempature in the room with the fan in front of the small window opening.

This room was tiny, so if you have a lot of luggage it might not work for you but it did have a kitchenette which was great for us. Very close to the train. Not sure they actually have AC so would not recommend during a warm spell. Otherwise quite affordable and I’d stay again!

It was nice clean comfy and if you are having a difficult time contacting them google the local phone number and call them they will answer but also on the 7th floor there is a restaurant and they are helpful and have wifi they have a gym and stove in the room no ac but there is a fan

Check in process was complicated since I never got an email with reservation from the hotel which was needed to check in their website which also didn’t work so I had to contact them to do it for me, they replied very fast but it could’ve been avoided. The room looks a lot more different in person than in pictures, it was displayed as a deluxe apartment and even though it was very nice it wasn’t quite like the picture effect. Overall good for the price.

The property had no idea I was coming and thus sent no communication about how I should check in. When I showed up, the bartender had to put me on the phone with someone who told me they never received my payment despite Expedia having sent me a receipt. The property itself is clean and pleasant, but they really have to iron out their process with Expedia.

Checking in was HELL! I purchased two rooms but could only check into one becuse the name I entered for the second room was different than mine! I purchased the second room for my friends and when asked to enter the name for the second room , I did just that! My friends have different names than my own! And when I called the number to Customer service , they actually said "Yes we see that you purchased two rooms but the name on the second room is different than yours who purchased that second room! Than I told them that the web site ASKED for the name of the person staying in the second room! After literally hours of trying to get these people to understand what was going on with THIER system we finally got to get into the rooms I had purchased. UNBELIVEABLE! Keep in mind IF you book a room there, there is no-one there to speak to, no one All online. Stay away!

Check-in Nightmare Stayed at VISIONAPARTMENTS Glattbrugg and while the apartment itself was modern and well-located near the train station, the check-in process was a disaster. The property has no reception - instead, they claim to send an email with check-in instructions 24 hours before arrival. Spoiler: They didn’t. Since we were on a flight, we expected the email upon landing. Nothing. Arrived at the building with no access code. Thankfully, a fellow guest let us in, and a bartender on the 7th floor helped us get our code by calling the management. But what if we’d arrived late at night? We’d be stuck outside, in the cold, in one of the most expensive countries to book a last-minute stay. Unacceptable. Final Thoughts ✔️ Pros: Great location, well-equipped rooms. ❌ Cons: No reception, unreliable check-in, poor communication.

Terrible from the start. Never received email 24hrs before arrival. Tried to contact 3x. On train on day of arrival finally received email n you must take photos of passport n wait for code to get into building. No code sent. Waited at train station for hours trying all different #s n finally got someone on phone to email code.Booked cause price was good. The location is a $70 chf taxi ride from the train station. Shadey people downstairs smoking. Got in building n no clear direction on where room was. Lucky found nice person to help direct. Room just had lil fridge n microwave n I booked a suite. Went upstairs to restaurant n had the worst nachos with fake cheese n the fish n chips with no tartar or ketchup with 1 cocktail n was over $70 chf. Day of departure cleaning lady bangs on the door to to you to leave. Was the worst place I've booked n hope you dont experience the same!

It was a good stay. It's not far from the airport and it's about 20 mins away from Zurich HB. The Glattbrugg Train Station is about a 2-min walk so it's very convenient. This was our best option in terms of finding a budget friendly, clean, and comfortable stay - we booked the option with 2 rooms which was great for our party of 3. Communication is all virtual, look at your e-mails and heads up, there's no receptionist at the building. Don't expect staff to clean your apartment unless you're staying for more than 7 days. My only complaint was that they are stingy when it comes to replenishing consummables. They'll provide you with 1 smal bottle of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner and that's it. I asked for more since we were a group of 3 staying for 3 nights but to no avail. Also, If you're gonna rent a car, download the parking app which will allow you to reserve a parking spot.

Der Aufenthalt ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ausserordentlich positiv Überrascht hat mich die Kommunikation mit dem Kundenservice, welcher zwar nicht vor Ort ist sondern per Telefon oder Email erreichbar. Ich hatte per Email mehrheitlich Kontakt wegen unterschiedlichen Anliegen und habe in kürzester Zeit eine Rückmeldung erhalten, alle Anliegen wurden zeitnah erledigt ohne nachfragen zu müssen, einfach wirklich top!

5/5 hotel but 1/5 because of the horrible experience with getting the access code. We never received an email that we were supposed to send our passport photos in an email to get the access code and once we arrived at Zurich we thought we have been scammed because the customer service number was from Poland. I understand having no one work there to lower the costs and price for rooms but there needs to be a better process in place. We went through a lot of stress and struggles of finding internet and someone to call the number till we finally got the access code at 23:30, 30 minutes before they were going to close the check in and us being hotelless.

Good location. Right across the train and metro station

The area at night closed down early evening and although the public transportation was very near the surrounding areas had many people lingering in the streets especially at night time.

It was a perfect location. Right next to the tram stop for airport. 10 minutes away. Right next to the train station. Trains every 15 minutes to Zurich Hb. Only took 10 minutes. Coop right across from station with groceries and hot food. The kitchen gave me the ability to heat meals. The refrigerator was large and very useful. The building is very new and clean.

The property is in a very convenient location..2 mins walk to the train station and also there’s buses and trams right on the train station. It only took us not even 10 mins to Zurich airport.

Easy to transport and close to the downtown

The building is brand new, just behind the train station. You can also easily have access to trams (going to Zurich HB and airport). 5min away there are also several grocery shops.

Kept window open overnight to keep it cool but meant disturbed by early lorry loading business on our side of hotel. Gym was retty good too. Perfect location for transport- trains trams and buses every few minutes 2 minute walk. Supermarket nearby too. Hotel has a bar and restaurant but e didnt use it. Regular swiss plug adapters do not fit in hotel wall plugs! We bought 2 at airport but prongs not long enoug. Can use usbs to charge mobiles etc in tvs though. Yes would stay again.

Near train and tram and very easy connection to airport

This was a lovely hotel. Great location (literally steps away from public transit and grocery stores) with a nice garden out front. The room was nicely furnished and had a handy microwave and fridge. The hotel also had a laundry room. The only thing stopping this hotel from getting a 4 star was the shower. The shower could not maintain a constant temperature and would fluctuate constantly from freezing cold to scorching hot without touching the controls.

Sauber, modern und kuschelig. Günstiges Frühstück für 12€pp möglich. Kleine Zimmer aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt alles da.

El bar: las chicas no son amables, parece que siempre están frustradas. No atienden con amabilidad. Se le pide adicional de café y lo cobran.

I paid for breakfast which was Continental breakfast but by the time we go to eat breakfast there was nothing left. If I am paying something else had that available. I wasn’t the only one there who got no food other guest same thing happened.

Vision Apartments is conveniently located two minute walk to Zurich’s Glattburg tram and train statiion. Room was furnished with microwave, teapot, coffee machine, good size cold fridge, iron, plates and utensils. Rain / hand held shower and TV with lots of channel options. Would definitely stay here again since it provides great value for high cost area

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, my room/apartment was spotless, which I greatly appreciated. However, I was disappointed by the kitchen staff and felt compelled to share my concerns. While sitting at the bar, I had a clear view into the kitchen, which had no door separating it from the dining area. I observed two young women plating food. One was handling fries with long nail extensions, but without gloves, which I found unsanitary. The other was eating leftover fries while holding her phone, standing next to the person preparing the food. While the kitchen and bar areas themselves were clean, the lack of proper food safety practices left me uncomfortable. It’s concerning that the staff were handling food without gloves, especially since bacteria can linger under fake nails, and eating while working with food made the situation even worse. After witnessing this, I decided not to order food, as it did not meet the hygiene standards I expect from a hospitality establishment. I hope the hotel addresses these issues, as it could make a big difference in the overall guest experience because I refused to order any food after seeing that.

Nice place but no air conditioning. It was hot outside and hotter inside. No ventilation in the hallways. The room had a narrow little window, but no way to get the air to move. They did provide fans which helped a little. Very close to Glatbrugg rail stop (train, tram and bus) so was easy to get to Downtown Zurich, the airport, and other places. The little restaurant on the 7th floor was good but minimal selections.

They need to work on keeping the hallways clean. The continental breakfast coupd be better.
