Room was clean and bed comfortable and the air con was effective. However, our room was still not serviced when we came back at 3pm so had to ask them and wait. Only one cup was cleaned and the other was left dirty with coffee still inside. Over two nights they only gave us one coffee sachet for two people and was decaf. Towels not replaced either. Staff in cocktail bar lazy and indifferent. Cocktails expensive and poorly made.

Excelente ubicación. Personal amabilísimo. Habitación limpia y con vistas a Gran Via (en nuestra anterior visita ganábamos en tranquilidad al ser habitación interior) pero muy bien insonorizada. La terraza ideal y el desayuno muy correcto. Si hay que ponerle alguna pega el ascensor es muy lento.

Good hotel in very busy street Gran Via. Reception is on the 9th floor and the rooms below that. We had paid for a street view. Room was modern, compact and comfortable bed. No door on the bathroom but toilet and shower do have doors so don’t worry!! Great sound proofing as did not hear a thing from outside when in the room. Breakfast served on 9th floor were delicious. Small rooftop pool tho too cold to use in February plus we had no time. Would recommend hotel, good location for sight seeing.

The staff in general was very helpful and very nice, really appreciated that the room was ready when I arrived an hour earlier than the check-in. I got the standard room with a view that is around 17 sqm. The room was small but incredibly clean and the view was worth it. There are just two cons to my stay: 1) the elevator is very slow, 2) the sound insulation room/room, floor/floor. As I am very sensitive to noise and the room was located in the 8th floor just a floor under the restaurant and the reception, the noise of chairs can be heard as well as the water flushing/running from what I guess was the toilet also at the restaurant. Good news is that the noise didn't last all night nor all morning. Roomate Macarena is a 3-star hotel but can easily compete against any 4-star. Keep in mind rooms are small and I did a solo trip, so for that purpose it worked perfectly. May become a bit challenging if 2 people are in the same room and need to share the toilet, as the layout is an open door area with - shower with glass door - sink in open area - toilet with glass door

Great location for tourist. Walking distance to shops and eateries. Staff is very friendly. The cleanliness was questionable. There was dried blood on our pillow case which was resolved right away. and the carpet has some sort of residue on it.

I would not recommend it luckily it was not our first time in madrid there are better options if you aks me. Rooms are too small and not smartly designed Reception is on the 9th floor and often only one of two elevators work. Very loud because of the busy street if you have a light sleep dont stay here Carpets smell weirdly jn the room Best thing is the staff was kind but not extraordinary We stayed in many room mates and this was the worst by far.

Excellent stay except for two things. There is absolutely zero privacy in the toilet, it is practically completely open to the bedroom and you aren’t just visible on the toilet but you will also hear absolutely everything that your travel companion is doing in there. Other than that, my only issue was how loud and crazy it is on Gran Via. The location is convenient but it is LOUD and BUSY. Next time I’ll stay in a quieter neighborhood but Gran Via was ok as a first time visitor of Madrid.

This hotel was conveniently located to the Gran Via, and everything we wanted to see in Madrid was a walkable distance. There is 24 hour staffing at the front entrance, which I appreciated, as it helped us feel safe. We also loved the breakfast. There were so many options, and all of them were delicious! The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed cocktails on the rooftop pool/terrace area. My only complaint is the bathroom. There was very little sink space, so getting ready in the morning took a bit of creativity. The water closet was almost impossible to use, especially for my husband, who is 6'5". Keep that in mind if you are a tall or large person- you might not fit! In addition, the glass door provided little to no privacy. As a very private person, this was uncomfortable for me.

El peor servicio al cliente. Somos clientes frecuentes de este hotel desde hace años y antes el servicio era excelente, pero ya no queda el mismo personal en recepción y las personas actuales tienen cero empatía y cero disposición para ayudar. Al hacer mi reserva, escribí de inmediato indicando que llegaría muy temprano, tipo 8 a.m., después de un viaje de 8 horas, y pedí si era posible que me ayudaran con una habitación un poco antes. Nunca me respondieron. Al llegar, nos dijeron que no era posible porque el hotel estaba lleno. Entendible… hasta que vimos lo que pasó después. Nos sentamos en la recepción literalmente agotados, y vimos pasar a muchas personas haciendo check-out. Pasaron las horas, nos vieron dormidos en la recepción, salimos a comer, regresamos, y aun así no nos entregaron habitación hasta exactamente las 3:00 p.m. Si vas a llegar temprano a Madrid, elige cualquier otro hotel menos este. Viajo a Madrid con frecuencia y casi todos los hoteles, aunque no tengan habitación lista, te ofrecen opciones: pagar un early check-in o te ayudan de alguna manera. Aquí, ni una cosa ni la otra. Una gran decepción. Ya no es lo que era.

El hotel está bien en general. Habitaciones pequeñas pero es normal en Europa. Como la habitación es pequeña, se amontonan los amenities, no queda mucho espacio para moverse. Si vas solo o con pareja está justo. El desayuno bien, pocas opciones pero suficientes. Hay dos aspectos negativos: 1. La recepción está en el último piso. Así que es poco práctico, por qué hay que subir para check in o check out y después bajar 2. El staff de recepción muy poco servicial y amable. Parece que no están nada felices con su trabajo. Y lo más peculiar es que fueron TODOS, estuve varias veces en recepción atendido por diferentes personas y ninguna servicial o amena. Totalmente diferente el staff del bar o de la entrada, ellos si muy serviciales

The hotel was in a good location and the reception staff were very helpful. I was able to check in early however I had booked a cheap room and hotels.com gave me the option of either twin or king, however on arrival I was told that room is only a twin room so I had to pay an extra 20 euros to have a double bed. The morning of checkout the cleaner just walked in at 9am and then told me off for not putting the do not disturb sign on the door. I have never had this on the day of check out. I would expect them to check with reception that I had left.

This hotel was conveniently located to the Gran Via, and everything we wanted to see in Madrid was a walkable distance.
