Safety within building, no one can get through main doors without their room fobs. Only downfall, being a smoker, smoking was not permitted on the balconies as most accommodation we have stayed in, in Melbourne. You had to leave the building completely, which is not real safe for guests at night, by themselves.

We had a great stay, the location was excellent. The apartment was generally clean but quite tired and the windows were definitely in need of a clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Roof terrace was a bonus and price was good.

Fantastic location within walking distance to the Royal Botanical Gardens , Queen Victoria Market, China Town and numerous restaurants and pubs. The outdoor sky deck has beautiful views of the city.

No view from room, but the view from the roof is fantastic. Some street noise (and strange noises they were, often sounds of yelling that I couldn't hear at all when I went outside), but the bed is actually a fair distance from the window compared to most hotels so it didn't keep me awake. The TV was a little damaged but not so much I couldn't watch it. Cleanliness was very good, and washer and dryer in room worked great. Actually I have to say that overall this was one of the nicer rooms I've ever stayed in.

Perfect location for where we needed to be. Room had a good amount of space for a family and decent facilities but there was some water damage to the floor and door outside the bathroom which caused the floor to warp. Rubbish wasn't put out by housekeeping or past tenant. We were asked to remove rubbish to the disposal nearby before vacating. Notified front desk after clearing it myself and there were no more bin bags. Notified front desk twice during out stay and were told they would have housekeeping bring bin bags and a tea towel which was also missing. Told them at check out that I'd bought bin bags and used the facewashers and handtowel instead. Friendly staff were apologetic but no action.

Very good for transport and city. Lots of food places very close. Upsides; Large and good facilities including laundry, washer and dryer - kitchen, microwave and oven etc provided washing powder and bathroom needs including shampoo and condition . Good value for money. Nice staff. Downside; My apartment however was very dark, grey, and no natural light. Also behind bed and sofa had not been cleaned.

The hotel is nice and the staff really friendly and accommodating. However don't be fooled by the view presented on the hotel's main advert - our room looked directly into the student accommodation opposite and we had to walk out onto the balcony to see the sky. There was zero privacy with the blinds open and there was such a lack of natural light in the room it really didn't make much difference whether it was night or day outside. It is quite strange waking up in the morning to total darkness! I can live with a lack of views and/or natural light. But what I don't like is being tricked by marketing - the implication from the main ad is that the hotel has a nice aspect. Please tell customers that they are booking rooms without views. Also, no soap holder in the shower? Really? You're marketing your hotel to adults, we shouldn't need to store our soap on the floor of the shower. And a coffee maker would be nice please.

Nice little apartment but on a busy street which was quite noisy all night so did not sleep much. Good location close to carlton gardens but outside free tram area. I found it quite expensive but when i booked i had not realised the flower show was on at the same time as the formula 1 racing which might have been a factor. All in all, happy with it and they did provide a nice bottle of wine and snacks which was a nice surprise.

Lokation var hel perfekt med en Tram lige rundt om hjørnet. To stop til den gratis Tram zone, som man nemt kan gå til inden man hopper på en Tram. 100 m fra Lygon street med alle restauranterne. 500 m til Victoria Market, som absolut er et besøg værd. Skøn tagterrasse med vidunderlig udsigt til Melbournes skyskrabere. Lejligheden er godt indrettet men masser af plads.

the biggest issue when staying in a hotel is neighbour noise, or my own snoring, i could not hear neighbours and apparently i had neighbours on either side, so outstanding insulation.

The 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment was perfect for our needs. Very well appointed fixtures and pretty quiet on the whole. So close to Lygon street which offers a huge range of dining options. IGA & convenience stores close by. Public transport basically at your doorstep but is also easy walking distance to the CBD.

Ok room 710. Disappointing see through blinds in the lounge open, dinning so everyone can see you . Not private. Bathroom. shower was leaking water, over the floor when showering.Fan in bathroom not working, shower tap very hard to adjust for hot /cold water. Bedrooms pillows as hard as rocks. Stain marks on the small lounge in the lounge room . Only good part of this place is the location to the restaurant strip. Very small apartment better of staying in hotel 5 star same price and 24 hour staff.

It is value for money. Felt pampered and truly comfortable with all the appliances in the apartment. Ms Salina was very helpful when i had to book an extra day here. Check in was seamless. Lovely and welcoming staff. My husband loved this apartment!

Perfect location for where we needed to be. I personally had a very good experience here in the last 3 nights and would visit again. Few issues with my bathroom that were quietly sorted out without fuss. Girls at reception were excellent, and thanks to Selina for the phone charger. I would stay there again - close to some good restaurants ie Lygon street.
