We chose this for the pool, hot tub, accessibility, and breakfast. The hot tub was broken, the pool is unusable, handicapped rooms were not avaliable even though we paid for it, but they had a pretty average breakfast. Employees had little good to say about local restaurants. Traveling across the country we hoped to book a little nicer hotel; it ended up worse than any we've visited in the past few weeks.

The hotel is in need of upgrade. The car[pets are dirty and room smells. the bathroom faucet leaks and the facility has no working gym equipment. They say they have membership at a nearby 24/7 fitness facility. This means you have to drive out of the hotel. Carpets are all worn out and dirty. It doesn't look like it has been vacuumed in a while. the breakfast is mediocre at best. The environment is quiet which is nice. Wyndham can do better as I have stayed in some of their hotels in the past. This is my first stay at Americinn though. substandard.

Pros: the lake is cool, outside seating area, dining option right next door, very quiet, breakfast options plentiful enough, staff friendly, felt clean enough. Cons: pool is out of order (looks like it’s been a good while too), gym is laughable and no cleaning products, mattress was old AF, cash only for the ‘vending’ isn’t convenient.

Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly! I was disappointed that the hot tub was out of order/closed, but the pool is a nice indoor heated pool and there is a fantastic outdoor grilling area overlooking the lake. Beautiful!

Booked this place as a half way point for us to the beach in Florida. Chose this place for location and to use the pool as a way for the kids to play a while after long day in the car. Upon arrival was informed the pool was under renovation and unusable. Hotels.com mentioned nothing of this on the site and presented the place as having a working pool. No discount or anything was offered, just an I'm sorry. Kids were super disappointed as was we.

Place was great overall. We only stayed for about 10 hours total, and most of that was sleeping. We checked in at about 10pm, and the parking lot was really full. As we were walking toward the door to check in there were a few groups of people walking from the bar or whatever is behind the hotel (a few intoxicated). They had clearly parked in the hotel's parking lot, which explains why it was so full.

This hotel needs to be updated. When you enter the hotel room, there is an offensive urine odor. The room is darkly painted and has poor lighting. The bathroom needs to be gutted and updated. The grout in the shower and bathroom is dirty and moldy. The lighting in the bathroom is extremely poor and has no ventilation or exhaust fan to remove moisture.

Roaches on 2 different days, fan not working in room & NO apologies or discount offer and discussion with me from management staff. Just pay the full rate & keep it moving. I told staff member Udean about the 2 roaches seen within hours of our arrival. Then later I told Adrian/ staff member & this time i had a photo & he even took a pic of my pic on his phone & said would discuss with Mr Patel the next day.

We both had bites from bed bugs. I called the manager at the desk, and he said he would get back to me after having the room inspected. This did not happen! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless I'm taken seriously, and my bill is adjusted for this horrible stay!

I was disappointed that beds were very hard, and the air conditioner was not turned on upon arrival. It was extremely hot in the room and took a couple hours to cool off. The beds were rock hard, and the pillows were flat/compacted and very uncomfortable to sleep on. There was a cockroach in the closet that my husband had to kill. And there are signs posted all over the hotel like the guests are petty thieves and need to be reminded that they can't take things from the hotel. I did not feel very welcome.

When checking the room upon arrival, I found a half drunk bottle of Fireball Whiskey in the refrigerator. I also found the overhead light in the bathroom didn't have a light bulb or the globe to cover the light. The mat to step on from the shower was nasty and there were screws in the floor all around the mat. I am not sure the floor was even vacuumed.

Shower curtain bar coming out of wall. Curtain sags, does not close all the way. Water gets on floor. Towel rack holding towels in shower/tub room anchors pulling out of wall. Toilet main tank valve leaking. Tank refills every 15 min. Bed mattress were good. View of lake was nice. Nicely interior designed lobby area. Wi-Fi was funky.

It’s an older property in need of upgrades. The studio suites were under renovation as they’ve removed the whirlpool tubs from the open area, but hadn’t replaced that area with other furniture. Therefore, it was bit of an eye sore. Also, the TVs were old and didn’t have good picture quality.

I was only staying for one night, so some of the small issues did not bother me. Electric outlets only worked if light switch was on, which I didn't figure out until my stay was almost over. I did really like the view of the pond and it was very quiet. Staff were pleasant.

This hotel gets an 8.6? Sorry, that is too generous. The room smelled like people had been smoking in it and freshener was sprayed to cover it up. The faucet in the bathtub was marred by years of water stains. The shower head was awful. The refrigerator was loud. I unplugged it. Lame TV with low resolution, but that's mostly minor to me. The bed was fine. I actually slept well, maybe partly due to the A/C unit was good and could make the room a meat locker and I like it pretty cold at night. Not the hotel's fault, but some geezer, after getting his eggs, just tossed the serving spoon into the eggs. No thanks. Went elsewhere for breakfast. Told the desk clerk. I wonder if she knew to tell the kitchen staff. Did it get fixed? I wouldn't stay there again. Disappointed in Wyndham.

The room soze was so nice! Lots of extra space compared to the average hotel room. The pool was down the weekend we were there, which is one reason we booked this hotel. Our room was very close to the "meeting room". An event was held there Saturday night. The only advice i wpuld give to the hotel staff would be to not put a family that close when they know they have an event. Loud music was booming until at least 11pm.

I recently stayed at the Americinn for business purposes. This was my third stay during 2024. I was scheduled to stay an extra day but left early and went to another property due to poor service and issues with the staff. Upon check-in, my sheets were dirty. I requested the housekeeping to come to change the sheets. I was informed that housekeeping was gone. I continued to ask for the next 4 days only to be given excuses from no sheets to a computer, they were short staffed and one time it was because my daughter left her computer on the bed. I finally called corporate on the last day of my stay. An hour later, the asst general manager from Americinn called me on my personal cell phone when I was off property and she started calling me a liar and yelling at me in front of my daughter. I chose to leave the hotel that evening as I no longer felt safe at this property. Needless to say, I will never stay at this property again!

Property was ok. Swimming pool did not work. The light in the bathroom did not work. When checking out no one was at the front desk. Waited 10-15 minutes still no one. Called the facility hoping someone will answer. Still no answer. Left my key card near the keyboard. Called the facilty around 7am to let them know we left early for checkout.

Our bathroom light was out- we reported it and they said they’d fix it. Didn’t. There for a wedding- no light for makeup. Tv in bedroom didn’t work- two tvs in same room one in front of the other- neither worked. Got the late checkout and was charged 3 times $25 total $75. Room wasn’t ready at 3 but at 3:20. Elevator smelled like smoke

We had a great experience. We rented 22 rooms for 44 people. All of our rooms were ready and check-in was complete when we arrived. All we had to do is sign paperwork. Communication was great. Desk service was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

When I checked in at 11 o’clock at night, the front desk person came out wreaking of marijuana. Came up to my room. Light is broken glass top sitting on the counter toilet is filthy was tired went to bed. Only reason we picked this hotels because it had an indoor pool and Spa I called multiple times before booking. Nobody bothered to tell me that the pool and spa had been shut down for weeks. Asked about getting a refund and checking out and nobody was willing to help me so it pretty much ruined my stay less and learned don’t use Expedia.And don’t stay at this property

When we first arrived no one was at the desk, however you could hear them watching tv in the office. We stood there waiting and finally rang the bell and the attendant walked out and was rude, like we had interrupted her. She stared at us like we were a nuisance. I will never understand how hard it is to be nice to someone especially if you work in the public.

I loved how convenient it was to dining options and close to shopping and restaurants. I loved the Lake view and how cozy the hotel itself was. I was kinda down that the hot tub was closed, but overall it was a nice stay. The hotel staff was top notch and went above and beyond. I highly suggest staying here!

The check in was ok. The lobby area was a little different. There are multiple levels on the property with short staircases. As if it's been added onto a few times. Not a problem for most people but it could be an issue for someone using a walker or wheelchair. The "breakfast" was not much. Mostly just cereal and bread. Needs improvement.

They did not have my reservation so I had to pay a higher cost. There was no hot breakfast because the air condition went out (I am not sure where) This was not even communicated. I had to ask why there were no bagels or hot food.
