The Hotel Rep Ms. Jackie quickly checked me in and answered all my questions and concerns; she was very polite and professional! It was refreshing to have carts available for check-in and check-out! I thought the breakfast had a really good variety and the food was good and fresh! In closing, this is my second time over the years utilizing this particular Holiday Inn Express Hotel and I'm NOT going to make the mistake I made recently of trying one of the other close by hotels, which was a disappointment. Finally, thank you hotels.com and Holiday Inn Express Vidalia for a great hotel experience!

Room smelled extremely musty when we walked in, but it got better as the A/C started and we turned on the exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was a stain on one bedspread, and several small hairs in the bathroom. My phone struggled to connect to the cellular network for some reason, so the internet was hit and miss all night. I don't like using unsecured/public Wi-Fi, so I just dealt with it. Buuut... overall it's good. The bed is comfortable, and the area around the hotel is convenient to stores and restaurants. There's a beautiful pond within walking distance that's always been one of my favorite places in V-town.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. My only issue (and this is minor, really) was that the TV was a little hard to figure out. I couldn't get my phone to connect to it via Bluetooth to stream some shows, since the cable had limited offerings. Not a deal breaker by any means, but maybe something to consider during future upgrades.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Vidalia, GA for one night following a football game we were in town for. Check-in was great, the desk clerk was professional and friendly, the hotel was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The only negatives were as follows: 1) Only two towels in a room that sleeps 4 2) When taking a shower, water spurted from where the shower head was attached to the wall, over the curtain, and onto the floor. Each of the negatives were easily dealt with and, overall, our stay was pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel with a team of varsity baseball players while playing in state playoffs. We had pizza delivered to the hotel late one night after a game and the front staff has plates and napkins waiting for us in the lobby when we returned. They were so nice and welcoming. Wonderful staff and clean, nice hotel. We will stay again if we are ever in that area. Thank you!

Our first night, the fire alarm went off 11:00 pm. The clerk on duty, told us to ignore the alarm and go back to bed. The fire department was not called and made us uncomfortable about going back to bed. The room was partially comped. The second night was much better.
