This hotel is such a courteous and friendly staff! Avid hotels are designed for travelers who just need a Good night's sleep without a lot of frills. The rooms are small but very comfortable. Great beds, very clean, and quiet. If you're used to having a coffee maker in your room, bring your own because this hotel does not have any, however, they have 24-hour beverages in the lobby. Lobby. Refrigerator is in the room but no microwave. We would definitely stay here again comfortable good night's sleep without a lot of frills

Really nice 5 day stay. No complaint at all. Exvellent water pressure. Comfortable beds. Micro and fridge. Big TV. Breakfast had it all. 24 hr coffee and hot water. We would very much recommend. Price was fair.

New hotel with up to date facilities at a reasonable price. Mirror in bathroom had best lighting I have ever seen, as long as you weren't too tall. Room was slightly small, desk is a wide shelf and closet was hooks on the wall above a couple of bench seats. King size bed nearly fills room, only a desk chair, results in no comfortable place to sit other than at desk. Overall feeling is a room for one with a bed for three. Lobby area clean and bright, nice selection of snacks and necessities, breakfast selection OK but not enough change from day to day.

Checked in at midnight and Rose was so accommodating!! The coffee in the lobby was delicious!!

Very clean and comfortable.

I just really didn’t appreciate that the bathroom wasn’t thoroughly clean. Outside of the shower there was dust and hair left behind. I walked barefoot for a small amount of time in the room and the floor was filthy. Also confused by one of the padded areas already being stained with brown when it’s supposed to be a new hotel. The room served its purpose and the staff were okay, but I will not be staying at Avid again.

The shower could use some repairs and it looked like mold inside the shower. Also the room was much smaller than expected and the breakfast was not what we were expecting considering the price of the room

When I looked this hotel up the rooms looked bigger, they advertised sound proof rooms- NOT the case. They allowed children to run around and knock on doors and disappear. Stayed here for wedding night and was VERY disappointed with the lack of privacy and front desk wouldn’t do anything.

No microwave in room and shower water was not getting hot at all.

The staff was very courteous and the room was clean. The water was not very warm throughout our whole stay, but other than that, the bed slept wonderfully, and the nice big smart TV was an added surprise that made our stay even more comfortable. I will book this hotel again!

While this property looked very nice, had a great price point and location, there were 2 things that were quite critical that i didn't like. The rooms don't have microwaves, which means if you need to heat up anything you have to go to the main lobby area to do so. They offer "breakfast" but, considering there is no microwave in the room, you would think it would be made up in breakfast, but it isn't. The breakfast is individual sized cereal, muffins, prepackaged crackers, granola bars and yogurt. So, that's really "light snacks". Also, and this was critical for me. The air conditioner is loud. As it cycles on and off, it kept waking me up, which was bad. I was able to sleep with ear plugs. Also, personal preference here, down filled pillows do not offer enough support, so that also made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. It's a nice spot, but poor sleep, and extremely limited eating choices left a sour note. And the food available to purchase is incredibly high priced - things like snickers, ramen noodles, instant Mac and cheese , hot pockets, and vending sized chips were among the selection. Again, clean, good location, but if you come here, make sure to bring snacks of your own (youre right across from Walmart), and things that only need to be refrigerated if you don't want to have to constantly leave your room if you need to heat up anything. And if the cycling on and off of the heat or a/c is a bother, get earplugs. Otherwise, you'll be fine!

Clean room, great staff and beautiful property. Only downfall is that the rooms are a bit small.

Walls are extremely thin. Rooms next door was loud. Can hear people taking showers and flushing their toilet. Was able to knock on walls and yell to keep it down to next door rooms.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if we are in that area.

They gave my room to someone else because opted to pay when I arrived. I had to go to a different hotel.

Friendly evening staff, morning staff lady at the front desk was more interested in her phone than providing a welcoming customer service.

Management of this hotel is an absolute embarrassment. Very very rude do not care to take care of their guests whatsoever. They pretty much laughed at me for the terrible experience they provided. Whatever you do never stay here. I travel for work all the time and this is easily the worst experience I have ever had. If I could give negative stats I would do it.

Staff was very friendly and check in was easy

No one was at the front desk when I arrived. After waiting several minutes I walked around into the office space. I found the front desk clerk sitting in a private space looking at his phone. Felt like I interrupted him in order to get checked in. Although everything felt new, the room, especially the bathroom was not particularly clean.

Great staff, very helpful. Good breakfast, convenient location to the event we attended. There was a broken window shade in our original room and they moved us as soon as we saw it, before we even put our bags down! Would definitely stay again.

Room was comfortable and clean. The front desk member processed payment incorrectly. Talked with several front desk employees during the stay to correct issue. Still have my bank involved with getting the correct refund after returning home. Employee at checkout was rude with a bad attitude. Will never recommend or stay with this chain again.

The entire area is under construction. The intersection of the highway was closed because it was under construction. A new hotel was being constructed right beside this hotel. It might be better after construction is finished in a year or two.

Visiting facilities and was convenient in and out. Chemin was great and staff awesome. Breakfast area needs to be bigger. Food choices could be better too.

Staff was amazing, we needed a chair for the shower and our maid got us one and without being asked brought extra towels which was awesome. Breakfast had a good variety of food from cereal, fruits and sausage egg biscuits (even vegetarian omelets). Our rooms were on the 4th floor and were super quiet, beds very comfortable and lots of space with many shelves and hooks for convenience. Will definitely stay here again.
