Holiday Inn Express - Strathroy by IHG

Amazing heated indoor pool, great breakfast… many options for my picky kids. Sooo convenient and friendly staff always making sure guests have everything they need!

Great hotel looked to be very new! Pool was nice and great complimentary breakfast!

The hotel was up to the mark. Exceeded our expectations. The rooms were big and spacious with a work table that I ended up using. The couch and chair were great additions. The bathroom was neatly designed as well. The gym had bought for a quick workout and the pool despite being small was lovely. The staff was very kind to answer any questions and went an extra mile to help us out on anything that was needed. Overall a fabulous trip!

The facilities were in excellent condition as they are only a few years old. In general, it was fairly quiet, however my room was close to the elevator and ice machine, so there was extra noise due to the increased traffic (I'd ask for a room further down the hall in the future). The hotel was conveniently located for my job in Strathroy and was easy to get to. There are fast food options and a gas station with convenience store surrounding the hotel, but better restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive away. The included breakfast had a variety of hot and cold foods, which was helpful.

V well maintained clean and good location…..just off the 402 and u r there rooms v spacious and beds were v comfortable…..bedroom and washroom layout and designs built with modern and luxury feel….pool and gym v clean and held with good equipment and last not the least breakfast was v well organized and lot to eat in breakfast menu.preparation great……happy to come over again.and yes staff is v friendly and have great positive energy….Thanku holiday inn for such a pleasant stay.

An okay stay. Nice rooms but had to be moved because the comforter was stained and there were peanuts under the table that weren’t cleaned up from the previous guests. My child is anaphylactic so that was disappointing. New room was still not clean. Continental breakfast had nice options. There were decent food options nearby too.

Very inconsistent with housekeeping. We either had one cup for our morning coffees (three of us in the room) or we had one coffee and two decaffinated coffees. Only on our first morning did we have two cups and two coffees. The first morning the towels were replaced but beds were left unmade. We paid a lot for our stay and we were underwhelmed. We travel a lot, when we pay over $300 for one night in a very average place with very average amenities and can't even have a coffee when we get up it leaves an impression. The room was clean, A/C didn't work well. Daily clean towels and decent breakfast. Staff were good in the breakfast area and let us know when they were closing.

I don’t know what has happened to this hotel but this was the worst stay by far. It took over 30 min to get checked in and the guy stunk to high heaven of body Oder. People dealing with the public should have to wear deodorant. Then the bathroom was disgusting. Other peoples body hairs were everywhere like iit had not been cleaned. I can’t believe I used my free night for this

Beautiful inside. Not handicap friendly. Toilet too low, no hand holds in shower, by toilet. No night light. No light @ kitchenette. Head board attached too wall couldn't use to help position myself. No restaraunt. Perfect for teckies, numerous plugs.

Breakfast was nice. Loved that room was clean and the view was great. Beds were very comfortable but pillows were too soft. Needed a bit firmer ones. But overall very pleasant stay!

what i love about the hotel is the friendly staff, he’s a tall guy with beard but yeah he was really accommodating us. My friends and I really loved the room because the bathroom is filled with amenities and it was spacious. The room is very good because it was clean and spacious as well. I liked how you can connect/air play your phone or ipads or computers to the TV so that we can watch movies.

We are enjoyed the modern decor & setting. The beds were comfortable. Staff were amazing and greeted us well. Breakfast was a plus with a lot of variety. Thanks for the experience. Dr. Ron

Convenient location close to 401 and only a 5 minute drive from Strathroy where we had a beautiful dinner at the Clock Tower Inn. The breakfast was decent. Large TV in the room. Modern amenities. Comfortable bedding. The only complaint is a loud AC unit in the room, let me just say I didn’t have the most peaceful night. Otherwise, great value.

Pleasantly surprised to have found this great hotel in Strathroy as a last minute weekend accommodation over the labor day weekend! Conveniently located near Grand Bend and surrounding areas. Great , family friendly hotel. Complimentary brealfast had a variety of options - eggs, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and the usual bread/bagel/jam/butter. The hotel seems like a new build - thoughtful touches throughout (e.g. usb charging plugs in multiple spaces within hotel room and general areas). Bathroom was clean. Great shower and water pressure. Staff were courteous and friendly. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in the area. Worth the money.

Was there for few nights for business. The staff here were all very helpful and pleasant. They were outgoing and frw even addressed me by name having only been there for a few days. Very professional and courteous.

Brand new, clean hotel on the outskirts of small town. Great for stop over while you are travelling and need a place to stay late at night. Feels a bit remote, gas station and Tim Hortons are next door all brand new developments. Otherwise limited dining options which require short drive to town. Strathroy is mostly seniors community with some nice shops, slow pace, but clean and safe. Everything seemed to be closed in the evenings and on Sunday.

There was a smell outside. Locals indicated that the scent was coming from the farm. Uver stops being available from about 8pm

literally minutes from the 402. Nice and quiet are. next door to Tim Hortons and another fast food restaurant. Appears to be a new build like no more than a year old or so

Nice Property with clean and comfy rooms !! Complimentary breakfast was quite good with various options. Location : Short 20 minutes drive to Grand Bend beach. Tim Hortons , Gas station and convenience store next to hotel parking . Ample parking facility .
