A great experience!! Super friendly welcome at the reception, an upgrade with a stunning view and since we had an early flight to catch a takeaway breakfast ready at the reception. Golf facilities looked great although I must admit we only visited the driving range. Overall very satisfied with the hotel, its services and friendly staff.

points positifs : l'espace extérieur est très grand et très bien aménagé avec piscine immense au centre et nombreux transats, locations de vélos, trottinettes électriques, tables de pingpong, pétanque etc... Complexe hotelier face à la mer avec très belle vue et aménagement tout neuf le long de la mer. Points négatifs : chambres spacieuses mais très vieillissantes (grosse fuite dans la douche, joints sales, vis mal vissées, porte d'entrée un peu cassée etc...). Equipements de la salle de sport également vieillissants. Dommage pour un Hilton 5 étoiles...

Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille à l'hôtel Tangier Al Houara. Les repas sont très bons, les buffets variés et pour tous les goûts. Le personnel aux petits soins pour nous et notre fils de 2 ans, que ce soit au restaurant, autour de la piscine ou au kids club. L'hôtel est très adapté aux enfants, il y a plein de jeux extérieurs, une piscine enfants et un kids club où il est possible de laisser son enfant (à partir de 4 ans seul, sinon accompagné) avec plein de jeux et d'activités ! Navette gratuite tous les jours à 10H pour aller à Tanger et sortir un peu de l'hôtel, pratique lors de mauvais temps. Le seul point à revoir était que nous n'avions que 2 petites bouteilles (33cl) d'eau par jour dans la chambre, compliqué pour 3 personnes ! Mais nous en demandions en plus sans pb, et à la fin de notre séjour, des fontaines à eau étaient installées dans les couloirs, beaucoup plus écologique !!!

The resort was beautiful! Everyone was very kind. The housekeeping did a good job. The massage was amazing. We had one amazing waiter at dinner and we really enjoyed him. The concierge service was fabulous. The food was good. The jacuzzi was not working. The pool says heated online but wasn’t. The breakfast buffet was very crowded. Every morning there were birds eating from the buffet. No one was assisting with seating. The staff could not keep up with the dishes. The line for eggs should be relocated.

L'hôtel est magnifique, les prestations nombreuses (spa, golf, ciné club, kids club, etc.) que ce soit pour les adultes ou les enfants, les chambres très spacieuses, la piscine sublime, le PDJ et les restaurants très bien. L'hôtel est par contre au isolé il vaut mieux être véhiculé.

Très bon hôtel avec beaucoup d’activités variées (pétanque, PS5, ping-pong, narguilé…). + beaucoup d’activiter pour les enfants avec equipe d’animation . La piscine est superbe et la plage idéale pour profiter de belles balades à cheval et du couché de soleil incroyable . Le parking et assez grand et privatif ( c’est un plus sur Tanger ) Seul petit bémol : le check-in a été un peu long (environ 1h d’attente). Dans l’ensemble, une excellente expérience, je recommande !

This is a really nice property with excellent ammenities for the whole family. Very friendly and helpful staff, big private beach, pools, spas, restaurants.... name it, they have it. The only negative thing about this property is the clientele it attracts. Its mostly rich but low class people, with a healthy dose of Karens complaining about everything and bothering the staff. Nothing the hotel can do anything about it.

The hotel is very clean and there are plenty of staff around when you need them. Food in the restaurants, especially the buffet restaurant is good value and varied. Our room was spotlessly clean but despite maintenance attending there was a leak from the toilet throughout. We used the spa and had a hammam and massage which was good but the facilities and rooms are dated and there is a damp smell in the rooms. We did not see any major damp as in some previous reviews but they were painting and renovating some areas. The hotel is quite remote but a free shuttle is provided to Tangier if you require it. Overall we were looking for a relaxing weekend to escape the winter cold and we had a nice stay. We were given a late check out for our later flight and would recommend to others wanting a relaxing break.

I loved this property, everyone was friendly and helpful. The only thing I would focus on is the bathroom shower…mine had a bit of mildew in the corners and the water from the shower was coming out. I reported it so hopefully they’ll take care of that. Other than this the hotel is beautiful and I will definitely come back and recommend it. I loved it!

Très bel hotel avec des prestations dignes d'un palace. La nourriture est délicieuse et le personnel attentionné. Cadre idyllique. Points négatifs : beaucoup de poussière dans la chambre à notre arrivée et le sol tres sale, nous l'avons signalé 2 fois a la réception mais cela n'a pas été résolu. L'hôtel est tres excentré du centre villle et il n'y a absolument rien à moins 30minutes en voiture. Les boutiques au sein de l'hôtel ont des prix exorbitants pour des produits identiques que l'on retrouve en ville parfois 5fois moins chers voire plus. Il y a une plage privée attenant à l'hôtel, c'est tres pratique mais comme toutes les plages du coin, elle n'est pas propre avec beaucoup de dechets.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa and overall had a lovely experience. The resort is undeniably beautiful — from the well-maintained grounds to the clean and stylish interiors, everything felt inviting and peaceful. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. Our double bedroom was comfortable and tidy, but we did run into a recurring issue with the bathroom. The shower area had a flat floor with no proper incline or separation, which caused water to flow out and flood the toilet area every time we showered. It’s a design flaw that really affected the convenience of the space and definitely something that could use improvement. On a more positive note, the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional. Their friendliness truly enhanced our stay and made us feel welcome. One aspect that disappointed me was the limited coffee options. The only choice available was Starbucks, which felt out of place in such a luxurious setting — not to mention problematic, given current boycott concerns. A broader selection of coffee choices, including local or independent alternatives, would be a meaningful and much-appreciated addition. All in all, Hilton Tangier Al Houara has a lot going for it — stunning surroundings, a high standard of cleanliness, and excellent staff. With a few adjustments, especially in the bathroom design and food/beverage offerings, it could easily reach the next level.

I have had a poor guest experience in Hilton due to some scams such as we got told that there was a heated swimming pool but there was not. they told us there were no rooms next to each other. they wanted more money. we threatened to give a bad review and miraculously they had a room next to each other. they wanted 1000 euros deposit for a mini bar which did not exist. I did have some fun such as the parking attendant made me happy and on the beach near by there were quad bikes also the beach was beautiful. I also had fun doing the bungee jumping and additional activities. The pool was really dirty and room service clean the room with a dirty mop the bathroom and bedroom had spiders in it . The bathroom had a leaking hand bidet . Room service were slow but they were friendly ,welcoming as well there beds were comfy and there pillows .In the room they had a telephone but the button was stuck so I told room service to change it and air conditioning was good, the rooms were at a good size . I had a nice experience in there spa it was hot and relaxing they had a sauna and they had a jacuzzi and a hammam.

La chambre correspondait à la description. J’ai apprécié la grande salle de bain une balle baignoire et une douche à l’italienne. L’hôtel est très beau. Je recommandes. Un bémol je dirais la propriété des chambres pas toujours au rdv. Des c des cheveux longs sur le tapis laisse penser que le netoiyage est négligeable

We came back to this hotel after having stayed when it first opened four years ago and I’m not sure if it was the off season that contributed or just really not being well taken care of in the four years but the condition was really sad to see. So many broken doors, appliances, lights on balconies, ants and bugs everywhere - while the front desk was sorry they also stated this is to be expected during off season. I’m shocked that bugs would be part of an expectation during any season. No additional food options besides spaghetti and chicken nuggets, highly advise spending your money somewhere else. Just a big bust and will stay in Tangier proper next time with less of a pricey stay!

points positifs : l'espace extérieur est très grand et très bien aménagé avec piscine immense au centre et nombreux transats, locations de vélos, trottinettes électriques, tables de pingpong, pétanque etc... Complexe hotelier face à la mer avec très belle vue et aménagement tout neuf le long de la mer. Points négatifs : chambres spacieuses mais très vieillissantes (grosse fuite dans la douche, joints sales, vis mal vissées, porte d'entrée un peu cassée etc...). Other hotels in Town, have better Services and are cheaper Room Service very very slow...(Had to wait 40 min for 2 x bottle of wáter, 30 min for the Menú of the Room Service...) I recently stayed at the Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa and overall had a lovely experience. We were so excited for this stop on our Moroccan trip. However this hotel turned out to be a a very big disappointment. We were only able to get one of our two rooms ready a few minutes before check in. We were told that the other room would be ready shortly but we never got the keys. We had to make our way to the reception desk to get the keys. We decided to have a late lunch at the poolside restaurant. The service was lackluster to say the least. The food was even worse. My kids ordered chicken nuggets and they smelled very off. The prices were outrageous. Water cost 5 times the amount outside of the resort. When we finally got our room it was a king accessible. Avoid this room at all cost. The bathroom is an accident waiting to happen. The entire shower area was open to the bathroom. No separation whatsoever. We asked the front desk about this since the entire bathroom got wet from a shower. They said that’s the way the room is designed. It’s a terrible design. The bathroom became a slippery hazard for my kids. My brother who was a few doors down asked the front desk to send a shower curtain which they promised to do. Needless to say we never received it. I even asked the reception to which they replied that it was too late and they didn’t want to disturb us. Food at the buffet for both dinner and breakfast was also disappointing. Not for lack of variety but lack of flavor. The only saving grace for this hotel is the beautifully kept grounds.

We arrived at 2:30 PM to check in, but it took a while for our room to be ready. From 2:30 to 4:00 PM, we were checking with the reception, and they informed us the room was not yet available. At 4:00 PM, a kind member of the reception team noticed us resting in the lobby and asked if anyone had assisted us. We explained that we had completed the check-in process and were waiting for our room. She returned to apologize that the check-in would take a bit longer, as the rooms were still not ready. The team kindly offered us welcome drinks, which was a thoughtful gesture. At 4:40 PM, we finally received our room. After that, our stay was a great experience. We did notice some ants in the room, but it did not affect our stay. A special thank you to Hasna in the main restaurant for her positive energy and excellent cooperation—it truly made our experience even better. Overall, a pleasant stay with attentive staff who made us feel welcome.

Très bel hôtel et très jolie chambre. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Cependant un gros bémol. Le service du petit déjeuner est catastrophique… Pas de serviettes aux tables, souvent pas de verres disponibles, ni de couverts, machines à café rechargées quand l’envie prend aux serveurs qui disent toujours oui à tout mais on attend encore qu’ils viennent !!!! Missing bath towels from the room and took 1 hour to be delivered and room was located next to supply room. At fine dining restaurant, they forgot some of our orders. Never acknowledged they forgot. Told us it was ready and waited almost and hour for it to arrive and then when asked to cancel order as now 11pm they refused and said it was ready. Provided tea to “make up” for delay.

Incroyable! Ma famille et moi avons passé une semaine magnifique, tout est fait pour passer des vacances inoubliables! Chambre propre, lit très confortable, l’impression de dormir sur un nuage! Petit dej, je dirai plutôt brunch très complet! Service incroyable, le personnel est au petit soin, c’est très agréable! Et pour finir le paysage, la piscine, la vue sur la mer est superbe! L’hôtel est situé en retrait de tanger, il y’a une bonne demi heure pour aller au centre ville mais il y’a tout ce dont vous avez besoin sur place.

This resort is close to Tanger . About 20km . It makes it a perfect getaway for the weekend to enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Ocean beach and the hotel’s beautiful gardens and pools. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous and food fresh. The staff go out of their way to make you feel special . I highly recommend this place. They fo offer a day pass too. Très bel hotel avec des prestations dignes d'un palace. La nourriture est délicieuse et le personnel attentionné. Cadre idyllique. Points négatifs : beaucoup de poussière dans la chambre à notre arrivée et le sol tres sale, nous l'avons signalé 2 fois a la réception mais cela n'a pas été résolu. L'hôtel est tres excentré du centre villle et il n'y a absolument rien à moins 30minutes en voiture. Les boutiques au sein de l'hôtel ont des prix exorbitants pour des produits identiques que l'on retrouve en ville parfois 5fois moins chers voire plus. Il y a une plage privée attenant à l'hôtel, c'est tres pratique mais comme toutes les plages du coin, elle n'est pas propre avec beaucoup de dechets.

The property was beautiful with the rooms having a large amount of space. We visited in the winter and can see this is definitely a summer destination hotel as there was nothing to do in the colder months. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Oddly enough the room service menu was better than the dining options and less expensive. Our only complaint is the hotel is located 25mins from Tangier and getting into the city was expensive and time-consuming.

Très bel hôtel et très jolie chambre. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Cependant un gros bémol. Le service du petit déjeuner est catastrophique… Pas de serviettes aux tables, souvent pas de verres disponibles, ni de couverts, machines à café rechargées quand l’envie prend aux serveurs qui disent toujours oui à tout mais on attend encore qu’ils viennent !!!! Ils sont nombreux à servir mais brassent du vent bref un très mauvais point pour le petit déjeuner. Pour le reste tout était bien.

Il faut savoir que la chaîne Hilton est réputée pour être d’un assez bon niveau mais hélas, ce n’est pas du tout le cas ici. On nous a tout d’abord refusé une chambre communicante alors que nous voyagions avec des enfants en bas âge et avions réservé 2 chambres, et transmis un e-mail resté sans réponse 72h avant. Pour avoir accès à la chambre, nous avons dû patienter quasiment 2h! Le service de bagagerie est chaotique, pas de suivi, pas d’explication, on vous prend vos valises et à vous d’appeler, chercher , etc pour vous les faire déposer en chambre. Pas de voiturier: parfois une personne occupe le poste de façon aléatoire, il a fallu un matin que je cherche ma voiture pendant 10 minutes avant de la retrouver sur le parking. Musique trop forte à la piscine, la piscine est grande et spacieuse, petit point positif. La restauration est excessivement chère pour une qualité pas du tout au rendez-vous, et un délai très long. Le petit déjeuner inclus: catastrophique ! Énormément de choix, mais absolument aucun goût, les Msemens , les jus, les omelettes, bref tout ce que vous retrouverez ailleurs préparez à la minute et bien ici n’ont aucun goût; la personne qui fait les omelettes ne sait pas les faire, tout est à l’air libre donc sec et sans goût. Vraiment le petit déjeuner est à revoir dans sa globalité. Même les jus frais n’ont pas de goût, le thé est amer; viennoiseries sèches, pâtisserie encore congelées.
