Very nice hotel. convenient location to the Cal Expo. Pool was great. Hot tub not working when we were there. Pool water was chilly, but it was hot outside so not too bad. Our room looked like it had been recently updated and painted. The bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. Decent size room with big comfy beds and comfy pillows. Had everything we needed. Fridge microwave big screen tv with lots of channels.

The rooms were ok. The outside was rough and beat up, some of the parking was blocked off. The parking lot was dirty and poorly maintained. The hot tub was broken, the pool was cloudy. Parts of the area around the pool courtyard were blocked off with tape. The whole area just gives off rough vibes.

The pool flooring was really gross it was covered in dirt and dirty foot prints, and the hotub wasn’t even hot. It was like cold bath water and it wasn’t cleaned either so dirty bath water. The room was pretty nice though so I have no complaints about that and the service was good

A lot of homeless people on vouchers, the continentary breakfast The line was so long and wasn't even worth getting Had to change room because the first room TV did not work. It just wasn't what I was expecting very disappointed . The pool was not clean. They had a hot tub with no water. And I guess on Saturday nights they have a party. For the kids that live there.

The room was a complete filthy messwith flys flying all around. My partner and i spent our first two hours of our stay wiping down the entire room from top to bottom including the bathroom. The entire room was dirty. When we were done the towels used to clean the room bathroom and floor were black from wiping down the tables counters, tops, doors, shower and toilet. We did not complain because at check out we were told they are fully booked there will be changing rooms by the young at the front desk. Basically said no complaining get what you get. As if they already knew we were getting a messy/ used room

I accidentally left my flat iron in the room and reached out right away, but they showed zero concern and made no effort to help recover it. I know I left it there, yet no one followed up or offered a solution. The room itself was disgusting — there were pubic hairs in the shower and the toilet hadn’t even been flushed. It was clear the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before I checked in. To top it all off, the area felt unsafe. The morning after we checked out, there were police cars in the lot and suspicious people hanging around like they were casing the area. It was unsettling and not somewhere I’d feel safe staying again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere — this place is not worth the risk or the hassle.

While the room was nice and appeared clean, this hotel is by a very noisy road. We heard people wheeling suitcases up the stairs above our room all night (no elevator), local trains blowing their horns, and very noisy road traffic on a nearby highway. If you need a good night's rest, keep the nose level in mind. We didn't make use of the breakfast included with the stay as we used this hotel as a stay over for the airport the next morning.

Requested a room on the first floor since I was traveling across the country with my dog. No rooms were available and took a second floor room. Dog was not able to make it up the stairs so she slept in my car while I slept in the room. Parking was terrible and the room numbers are not visible from the parking lot. Also there’s a building A and building B and those were not clearly marked. It was confusing and irritating. Room was small but functional. Needed a running start to get into the bed. I like a higher bed but not one I need a step stool for. Breakfast was ok. Not a good selection but tasted good.

The rooms had comfortable beds, but if one was a small child, disabled, or had a small hip issue, a step stool would be required to get in. The bathrooms had great tile work, and were large enough. Where the real issue comes in - the noise. We were put near HWY 160, and there is no sound wall, and with trains nearby - nothing could block the incessant noise. It was nearly impossible to sleep.

I was tired after a long day of driving. I checked in, and proceeded to lug my heavy luggage to my assigned room. I get to my room, use my assigned room key, and the door opens. Get this, there was someone in the room resting on the bed. I had to explain myself, luckily the person was understanding. If the wrong type of person was in the room there may have been trouble. I'm 67 years of age and have traveled a ton and have never had this happen before, It's kind of scary, because what if this was happened in my actual room and I had belongings in the room. My trip belongings may have been stolen?? This could have been a total disaster. This is just plain unacceptable and I will get to the bottom of it. Another thing is that I didn't feel safe in the area at all. There was a lot of riff raff hanging outside what seemed to be they were maybe casing things? There was NO hotel security that I could see.

I've stayed here about 5 times and always got my deposit back the same day or the next day. I'm still waiting for it. Tried calling 3 times to the front desk, get put on hold and then get hung up on.

There should be a notification that there will be a $100 dollar deposit on all stays. That is alot of money especially in this economy. There should be more than one person at the counter. It took over a half an hour to get checked in. If something is changed, it should show that on the computer. Other than that it was a nice room. Very clean, good food at the breakfast.

TLDR: service was decent but didn’t actually give me the discount. Initially I got a solo room that had issues in the bathroom. The clip of the shower head was broken and I had to shower with a broken shower head and then the drain was blocked and wouldn’t drain the water for about an hour or hour and half. When I complained they said I’d get a 10% off of the room and they gave me a new room. The new room was great but after I checked out and everything, the charge on my credit card was charged the full amount and they didn’t take the 10% off from the final bill. I don’t have the time and effort to complain and be on hold for 30 min. So I’m just not going to come back

We were assigned a room that was already someone else’s room. Extremely embarrassing. Our room key cards stopped working each morning. They had to keep giving us replacements. Not enough parking so we had to park far from our room. Very loud.

The Place was ok for the price. The biggest problem that me and my partner encountered,were the 2 lady receptionists that worked on Friday 13 June. I do not know where they found those employees, They are sooo rude. They were hackling everyone, even using f words. We were scared to even ask for new towels or even change our room card that was not working. We always use best western hotel, so we know about the amities and offering, but those ladies made our stay hell.

I honestly thought it was fine. It's not the Ritz but it was clean and affordable and checked all of the boxes. The neighborhood is safe and there's a few amenities and a train station within walking distance. Staff was great, lots of parking and the pool was nice.

Very nice hotel. convenient location to the Cal Expo. Pool was great. Hot tub not working when we were there. Pool water was chilly, but it was hot outside so not too bad. Our room looked like it had been recently updated and painted. The bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. Decent size room with big comfy beds and comfy pillows. Had everything we needed. Fridge microwave big screen tv with lots of channels.

So, we're from Seattle, and we stayed here for the Aftershock Festival in Discovery park, and I got a very certain impression of this place, and I don't know if this is the official story or not, but the definite impression I got was this: This used to be a dirty, run-down motel. Someone bought it, gave the place a very nice facelift, and is trying to run it as a nicer establishment, but some of the local/transient population is still trying to use it for less-than-honorable activities. The owners/staff are clearly trying to fight against this. We had no problems with our stay here. The staff was very attentive, and there was security on site keeping an eye on things. I am rooting for the new owners of this place/the staff 100%. They are clearly trying to run a clean business and help clean up this part of Sacramento a bit. Just keep an subtle eye on the other people staying here while you visit!

This area is awful, I’ll be pleasantly surprised if my car hasn’t been broken into in the morning. It looks as if the rest of the people at the hotel actually live here.

The property has received a fresh paint job and renovated rooms and interior of lobby but it is still a work in progress. The highway is noticeable but location does provide ease of access. There's a nice neighborhood to the right of the property and the Buddhist Temple is directly behind it.

The room itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, with a fairly wide range of choices, but they don't have enough tables in the fairly big dining room -- I had to stand in the middle of an empty space for the first half of my meal. The neighborhood is not so nice though. My walk to the store was unnerving.

Breakfast was Luke warm....don't like self serve with utensils handled by everyone, not sanitary. Parking was OK. No encounters with staff except front desk, very nice. Soap and shampoo bottles were empty. TV remote was sticky, not clean, and NO CLOSED CAPTIONS which I normally use. Website I used to reserve room said "heated pool and spa", but found the pool closed, so website was not updated. Serious problem is not having grab bars in the shower. Should be a stall shower, not a tub. Very difficult to step into the tup with nothing to hang on to.

The rooms must have been renovated in the not too distant past. They are OK. Breakfast was a disaster. They ran out of food and/or beverages every day. One morning they ran out of paper plates. I left my room either seven or eight times; three of those times my key didn't work to get back in my room. Lots of traffic noise. Neighborhood a tad sketchy. I would NOT want to stay here with children.

I just had to have a shower as my bathroom is being built. I went back in the morning to have the breakfast. It was horrible wet soggy eggs, and sausage was just sitting in looked like reheated grease.

The evening supervisor Monica is awesome. She accommodated our every need however the morning manager ( male name unknown) was bias and refused to allow me to extend my stay based on hearsay about a noise complaint and no security or law enforcement involvement. This is the second incident with this individual and I am ready to file a formal complaint against him. He has placed me on the DNR list twice now.

TV didn't work our first evening and the man at the front desk said he couldn't fix TVs and the maintenance man wouldn't be in until morning. The morning desk woman explained all we had to do was push a certain area on the remote. The room could have used more light. Breakfasts were good but they were the same all 5 days. Very good deal for the price.
