Nice hotel. Plenty of fast-food restaurants near by. plenty of gas stations near by. easy access to the freeway. Clean hotel, gym is good. stayed here twice, once on the way up to Oregon and once on the way back home to AZ. I would stay here again.

I would stay here again. Stayed at this hotel twice. Once on the way to Oregon and once on the way back home to Arizona. Plenty of fast-food restaurants within walking distance. As of July 2024, there is an open field next to the hotel property that one can park their RV or Truck & Trailer. If/when that field gets built, there wont be any parking for larger tow and RV vehicle. But up until then, parking is okay.

The property is charming; it has a lot of parking space, and there are a lot of places to shop and eat around a 5-minute drive. The breakfast is not so tasty, and there are limited options, not many fruits or protein selections, and not many great ones. The pool is clean, and the pool area is nice, but the water is a little cold enough to enjoy it that much. The rooms are very spacious and have a lot of amenities for longer and shorter stays. The staff was also accommodating and friendly, with quick check-in and check-out. I only found some places in which they did not vacuum the carpet properly within the room, but I definitively stayed again.

Hotel was old and looked poorly built. The subtle signs were seen and felt in many places. Spotlights that shined into the window to loose faucets to beds that were topped with very cheap mattresses. Smells stains and repairs were seen everywhere in the room. Breakfast was barely eatable if you could get the main components out of a ridiculous container. I watched guest after guest try to serve themselves only to decorate the floor with what fell. The staff were all great. One shining things from an all to dreary stay at this chain. We’ve already agreed never to stay at another. Good luck to those who do.

Check-in was smooth and room was clean. Room deodorizer from previous cleaning was way too strong. The chemical was burning our throats and eyes. Asked to change rooms and they were sold out. Staff offered to run an “ozone machine” in the room, but we would have to vacate the room for several hours. We ultimately checked out due to the room’s defect and were rebuffed when we inquired about a refund. This has been taken up with Hilton Corp and Expedia. We stayed at another hotel nearby.

Modern. Very clean. Very functional rooms. The most functional I’ve ever experienced for a hotel room. A lot of storage areas. New and clean appliances. The furniture was quality. Great stay. I will be seeking another Home2 when I travel again and I hope the good experience stays consistent.

The hotel is new and modern. They have an indoor pool. The breakfast area is large. The included breakfast was very good nice selection of hot and cold items. The room was big and comfortable. The room has a kitchen (microwave, sink, dishwasher, large refrigerator) The bathroom is a little small and no tub only a shower.

It was serviceable. Being away from the main town of Barstow, in an enclave of corporate/franchise/chain business outlets, it is probably safer but lacks a bit of character. The interior room lights were all harsh fluorescent bulbs. And an exterior floodlight seemed to be pointed directly at my window. Which was unpleasant to say the least. The free breakfast looked disappointing, and I gave it a pass.

Instead of a nice fluffy duvet, the "bedding" was a mattress cover !!!!! covered by a thin polyester "bedspread". The two kept separating with the mattress covering south. I was really offput by the lack of attention to such an important detail. We were there to sleep in cozy comfort but we did not get that.

Had been driving ALL day to arrive at the hotel, find out they’re sold out and had totally screwed up my reservation. Booked a King studio and front desk staff told me hotels.com screwed up my reservation because I had a room with two queen beds. I’d also requested highest floor possible as I don’t like listening to noisy people above me and was on the first floor. Mgr called me today to apologize about the screw up which I appreciate. However, given the choices I’ll look elsewhere next time.

This is a clean and comfortable spot to stay. Rooms are spacious for families and breakfast is nice. However, we had a room on the 1st floor and apparently it was adjacent to an exterior smoking area. Our room filled with the scent of marijuana late into the night. I wasn't sure where it was coming from. Upon checkout, I politely asked if we had been next to a smoking room because the scent was unpleasant. The woman at the front desk was very dismissive. She told me it could be from the area outside of our room or from area farms. I said it must have been the outdoor smoking area and maybe next time we would request a room that wasn't adjacent. She said, "Well, it's California." I'm from California, too. It's not news to me, but she could have at least apologized for the inconvenience and offered to help us with our future reservation. Poor customer service.

Very new property located right on I-15 with substantial traffic noise. I stayed overnight twice in the last week. My first stay was on noisier west side of building, For second stay, I requested an east-facing room (even numbered), located on side of the hotel opposite the highway. This made second stay quieter for better sleep. The included breakfast bar was very good with many tasty options.

We had spent the night in another hotel on Rte. 66 while the hotel was ok, the area was pretty sketchy. So we booked into the Hilton2 and couldn’t have been more pleased. It’s a newer facility and in great shape. It’s located on the fringe of the Outlet Mall shopping area and there are several restaurants (fast food and sit-in) adjacent to this hotel. There’s also easy on/off freeway access. Rooms are well appointed however be aware that the suites have no utensils or silver ware. This is a dog friendly hotel and there is a vacant lot (for now anyway) to walk a dog just adjacent to the hotel.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff we saw were friendly. We did not see any housekeeping staff and that was our main complaint. I know we could have called, but considering the cost we were paying, should we need to? The breakfast was fine, but both mornings we had to wait to for the buffet to be refilled. I think the general problem was they were understaffed.

Everything in the room was comfortable. The only negative was the cooked part of breakfast. Not that great. Need experienced cooks, to provide food that doesn’t taste like it sat out and brown the sausage patties. Other than that, I would stay and skip the cooked food.
