Had to carry large suitcases upstairs due to elevator being down the first day of check-in. Then, someone got stuck in the elevator the next day which gave us fear. Continue problem the full four nights, five day stay. Not cool !! Your outside roof top parties with outside guests taking up all the register guest parking. Front desk tells us to park across the street. We are paying guest with a tag on our car but you tell us to move across the street. No excuses for that at all !!

We stay here frequently. There were charges we did not expect such as 30 dollars to park. This hotel also says they have breakfast in the lobby which they do; however there are limited options which are quite expensive including coffee. It seems they could at least offer complimentary coffe like most hotels do.

Very limited hours for the hotel restaurant and bar. You can’t even get a coffee after 930am. Overall, very low attention to service and hospitality. Rooms cleaned every other day and if you need fresh towels you have to request them at the front desk and they *might* have them. Very poor temperature control in the rooms. And the room was always damp. Often had issues running hot water in the bathroom.

One of the elevator wasn’t working and it took for ever to get to our floor every time, to the point that ended up taking stairs eventually. No much food options in the menu (both breakfast and Dinner). Great location though.

All was good. Loved the rooftop bar area and pool (although the bar prices are high - I suppose that's what you get in hotel bars), and the barman, live music, fire pits and so on.

My husband and I were very disappointed with this hotel. 1. I asked for the room to be made up every day and was told that they wouldn’t or couldn’t do that. 2. I had to call every day and ask for towels. 3. The shower, as nice as it looked with the glass wall, was not practical. We had to mop the water that splashed out every time one of us showered. And you had to let the water run for at least 10 minutes for the water to get warm. 4. On Wednesday evening we were watching TV when suddenly the electricity went out. We were sitting in the dark. When I called the front office with the room phone, no one answered. I had to use my cell phone to call the hotel to get a response. When the maintenance person came to the room, the only reason I could get was that I had a phone charging in the plug by the TV. If you can’t use the plug, why is it there? The electric in the room is apparently not wired correctly. 5. I got charged $40 for parking. I was never told about this charge The people who worked there were all very nice but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms were fairly clean until I saw a roach one day. We asked for additional towels at around 9am and did not get them until later on that evening after calling and calling down to the front desk. I ended up having to go down there and the front desk clerk was nowhere to be found until another customer knocked on their office door which was behind the desk. It is located in a convenient area

Overall the hotel was clean and well kept. We were surprised they didn’t offer fresh towels daily. When they came on day three they only left two towels for two is us for another two days. Quite skimpy!

This property is located in a great area plenty of eating places around and shopping where you can walk to it. Also the beach is not far from here and in walking distance. When we arrived there was no one at the desk and had to wait for a while. I also thought it was weird that they didn't clean your room everyday only every other day.

Front desk clerk was very nice & helpful as I had accidentally booked the wrong dates. We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping never came by. I caught 2 workers sitting in the hallway talking on their phones & was able to request new towels on night 3. Also disappointed our tv never worked. Someone came in one night and tried to fix it but couldn’t. He was leaving a note for the manager to fix it the next morning. We checked out 2 days later and it still wasn’t working.

smooth check in. the room (217) located over the front entrance - was a bit noisy . good beds/ pillows. bathroom was very nice- good shower, good water pressure . very clean . easy, ample parking. LARGE TV . internet was not great , kept going down. they were cleaning every other day, I was told- I asked staff to address the room- DIANA - did, great job. - a 10 minute walk to the colony beach/ shops 5 mins-- good location. a good experience.

For the price the size of the room with a King bed was very cramped. As the person sleeping by the wall, I was constantly banging my head, knees and toes into the wall. Also the room did not have a microwave though it was similar in size to the Marriot at Statesville.

Our stay at Courtyard Marriott Hilton Head was pleasant. The rooms were ok but out dated but clean need to update coffee makers terrible and cheap. I looked at the reviews before I booked and they were very mixed ! We picked this hotel for the location and got a great deal . I would not pay summer prices I would be very disappointed!!!

It was clean and convenient. The bedding was comfortable. The room had room darkening curtains. It was super modern and had usb ports and could connect to Netflix. There were many great features. Only a couple of things that I didn’t like was that breakfast was not included and the shower pressure was very subpar. The upstairs rooftop seating, bar and pool area was cool! Right next to Watsusi’s cafe which is the best. Super close to the beach. Very nice. Definitely coming back.

The staff was AWESOME!! The hotel helped me celebrate my birthday is huge way, the hotel has a great ambiance, pool staff and guess was awesome, they sang Happy birthday to me and the pool on the roof top was giving yesss. I loved my stay and I will be back

Very comfy beds and it felt clean and tidy. However the rooftop bar isn’t open as late as they say it is. All fireplaces upstairs were out and they closed the bar down at sunset. Part of why we chose this hotel is so we could do late night fires with drinks on the rooftop. We didn’t get to enjoy this once. The service staff at the front desk are super friendly, however the bartender is not. She closed down early and seem annoyed at anyone who ordered. They also advertise they have Starbucks. They do not. They brew Starbucks coffee in the morning, but it’s not an actual Starbucks. The drinks were all expired too in their cooler which was gross to me. However the hotel is located right by the shops and near the beach, so it’s very easy to walk places.

Very convenient location. Staff in general ranged from complacent to rude. Seemed to enjoy telling you no. Twice after cleaning rooms there were no bath towels left. Had to call waited 20 min and took shower using hand towels. Rooftop pool area was nice but again staff did their best to make the experience as unpleasant as possible (overcharging for drinks; won’t take food orders, no towels, allowing guests to play loud music)

We liked that it was within walking distance of restuarants. Didn't like the check-in process. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member which allows me to check in early. Tried to check in at 3 but was told I couldn't and had to wait until 4. Between 3:15 and 3:45, 3 other guests came in and were allowed to check in

We arrived around 9:30 to check in and was told that they were apparently fully booked. Mind you, this stay was already paid for through Expedia. I did not get any emails or phone calls from either Expedia or Courtyard to tell me that they were fully booked. We traveled 7 hours and were tired only to be told that they were fully booked and had to transfer us to Holiday In Express. I specifically avoided Holiday In because of the reviews about all the construction going on in there and that’s where we were sent. I was too tired from the 7 hour travel that day and did not have the energy to argue wi the the front desk staff. I have never had anything like this happened to us before. And Holiday In was another horror story! It was so crazy in there with all the construction going on: you have to check in in one building and had to go to another building where the rooms are actually located. I don’t know what else to say but this was not the most wonderful experience.

Stayed in Hilton head for St. Patrick’s Day parade. Unfortunately, it was canceled due to bad weather, but this location is central to everything, beach, shopping, restaurants, park across the street. Easy walking, quiet and loved the rooftop bar, despite it very pricey.

The hotel is centrally located, we parked the car and walked everywhere. Rooms are clean, staff very courteous and helpful. We also liked the rooftop bar. We didn’t use the pool, lots of room at the bar area . We had a great time.

The property is convenient to Coligny Plaza as well as the beach and a number of eateries. The one negative is that the hotel ran out of regular coffee packets for the rooms. This was two mornings in a row. Very sad, one would think a hotel chain would be better prepared. On another note, of the rooftop lounge, some young girls obviously had too much to drink. Very loud and slightly out of control. Nothing wrong with a good time, but the hotel may want to better handle the issue of drinks when it is obvious that the alcohol is influencing the behavior to beyond a little self control. Staff at the desk was very friendly, but rarely ever at the desk, usually sitting at the TV.

Great customer service from everyone! Suggest firmer mattress and bed pillows and a microwave in each room. Make sure the baseboards are dusted. Had to pay $10 a day for parking. Didn’t know until checkout. The location was excellent! The staff were excellent as well. Roof top restaurant and restaurant on first floor were excellent also. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the hotel! Will go back!

I did not like your roof top bar and overpriced drink and no menu stating pricing. For off season way overpriced for 2 drinks $22. 1 Beer and 1 mix , asked front desk for price after fact and said they didn’t know Your diversity employee ratio should be considered Overall pleasant stay
