Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped set up telescopes so we could see the birds and sloths in the trees. Hot tub outside our room was a nice touch. Rooms were large and comfortable. Only downsides were there really isn’t a bar or place to have evening drinks. Also the cost of bottled water was ridiculous ($30 for two bottles of Fiji water).

We had an amazing experience at Noah’s. Wow! We had a large room with a private hot tub. The pool was perfect and the kids loved the billiards table and hot chocolate machine. This is a private, relaxing place to stay with live music in the restaurant in the evenings. Wonderful food. Excellent service. Can’t recommend this enough!

This is legit one of the best places to stay in Costa Rica in La Fortuna area! From the moment we got there we felt at home and so welcomed! They made such a big deal about celebrating our 21 year anniversary. Anna who checked us in was absolutely phenomenal! The bungalow we were in was immaculate. The breakfast included was top notch. The service is just unparalleled to any place we’ve ever stayed at. They go above and beyond and the property is just so beautiful. We even got to do a free night tour at their sister property and Randall our tour guide was phenomenal. Overall 11/10!! Stay HERE!!!

Secluded property in La Fortuna. Each room was a free standing building, with its own hot tub. Shower was excellent. The included breakfast was excellent and coffee was available all day. So many activities in the area. Highly recommend if you are not looking for the hustle and bustle of a large hotel. Pool area was nice and there were added amenities such as a pool table

We had the best time staying at Noahs Forest. The staff were very freindly and helpful and always took the time to check on you. We loved the facilities especially the pool and ping pong tables, as well as the jacuzzi in the room. Everything was very clean and the best possible standard. Thank you for finding the sloths everyday, we'd never of managed without the helpfully positioned telescope and map! Special shout out to anna for organising the frog tour and always smiling with the best energy. Muchas Gracias!

A beautiful property - staff was gracious even though we arrived really late after a baggage mishap. The pool and jacuzzi area were gorgeous and well maintained, the room was just beautiful. Breakfast was amazing and included in the fare. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to go back.

This was truly a five-star experience. The rooms are gorgeous, And the grounds are luxurious and well landscaped. And to be able to see multiple sloths and animals on the property without having to leave or pay for a tour is tremendous! There was a sloth outside the breakfast area our last morning. What a special treat. .Anna, Sol, Kevin, Adrian, Charlie, Allen, Allan, Modesto, every single person on staff is professional, courteous and friendly and willing to help at any time. The property offers a complimentary nature walk on site as well as a complimentary night tour on their sister property, these are tremendous and such great values and pretty much were better than anything. We ended up paying for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend This property I can't say enough about it

Friendly and polite personnel all over the hotel lobby and rooms and restaurant . Beautiful scenery covered with amazing tropical plants. Strong Wifi all over hotel area. Neat and amazingly decorated all bathrooms and double rain showers, private jacuzzi for every room. Beautiful atmosphere in restaurant with having every night musician and different tropical birds eating fruits which were hanging all around restaurant.

This place was an absolute treasure. 1km/4 minutes by car to La Fortuna, but set off on it's own property, felt like you were off in the jungle. Immaculately groomed garden trails lead off to private little villas for each guest. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, with big bathrooms (double rain shower heads too!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of birds on the property if you like birds too, and a sloth for a few days right by the checkin building. The pool and jaccuzi were great to relax in, they also have a pool table by the pool and ping pong, all amongst immaculate tropical plants. Really a beautiful place. Peace and quiet and plenty romantic.

Très bel hôtel confortable et bien placé en principe ; lors de notre séjour le pont qui menait à la Fortuna n’était pas accessible et cela nous a obligé à faire un gros détour (compliqué de nuit) Le personnel est vraiment adorable et à votre écoute La végétation autour des chambres est magnifique et les chambres très confortables L’espace piscine mériterait d’être un peu plus grand Le restaurant est vraiment très agréable et les repas servis excellents

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal. We were greeted at reception with excellent service. The room was fantastic. Upon arrival we were surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a thoughtful note congratulating us on our anniversary. The room itself was perfect, the bed and sheets were one of the most comfortable we have slept in, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Housekeeping was pristine. Mariluz was our housekeeper for the duration of our stay and she did an amazing job, we came back to different towel animals in our clean room daily which was a sweet gesture. The towels and robes were all very clean. The private jacuzzi in each bungalow was spectacular. After a days adventure hiking the waterfall it was so nice coming back to our own private jacuzzi to relax. The atmosphere of the hotel itself is very tranquil, relaxing, and beautiful. We felt very well taken care of, all of the staff were friendly and attentive. Jay and Erick were some of the staff members we interacted with the most and they were very kind, helpful and personable. The property was stunning and very well maintained. Our experience here was so great the other stays we had after this one seemed lacking compared to Noahs. Definitely will be coming back here next time im in Costa Rica. If you are reading this review and are contemplating selecting this hotel, i hope you do, so that you get to experience the outstanding hospitality and ambiance we did during our stay.

We spent 3 nights exploring the rainforest and the town of La Fortuna. Noah’s Forest is a thoughtful and well laid out property that gives the guest privacy, dine al fresco with the birds and frogs, and maybe see a sloth. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. Even with the downpours of rain that we because accustomed to you can sit outside on your porch and listen to the rain and birds. Very calming. The hotel staff, in particular Anna, took care of many of our needs - booking a couple of last minute tours, massages and because we didn’t have a car, arranged our trip back to SJO. She is just lovely, genuine and professional in her communication. Breakfast is included and definitely needed when you have day long activities so don’t miss it. Because we didn’t have a car, we ate dinner at the resort as well and were not disappointed at all. They have local musicians play from 7-9. The team is attentive and genuinely welcoming towards us. A big thank you to Arlen our server!! I always say the experience is in the smaller details and Noah’s Forest did not disappoint.

This place is really sweet to stay at it’s about 5-10 minute drive from the center of La Fortuna you can definitely walk as well. It’s very convenient and the staff is so wonderful they will make anything happen for you so it’s just nice to feel welcomed and acknowledged. The surrounding area is quiet although it’s close to the center where’s there a lot of people you stay in an area that’s really quiet. The rooms themselves are beautiful as well. And very well kept this hotel does great upkeep on their property

Arrived at 1pm and was greeted by an extremely friendly team, Allan sat with us and told us all about the hotel and offered some advice on local tours. First impressions 'Wow!' As our room wasn't yet ready we headed to the restaurant for lunch. A small, intimate style restaurant, maybe 15 covers, set amongst the most beautiful, lush, colourful and vibrant surroundings. I've reviewed the restaurant on a separate review, but I'll mention here that all of the food we are at the restaurant was so tasty, and we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here most days / evenings. Breakfast had cereals, toast, pastries freely available and you could then chose one plate from the menu - photos attached. Our bungalow, number 2, was a river view room and had a king-size bed, a sofabed for our Daughter, coffee machine, fridge, safe, wardrobe, his and her sink, double rain head style shower and the highlight - a private hot tub. I'd messaged the hotel to say it was my Husbands 50th birthday trip and they put a card, and a bottle of cava in our room and made a cake display out of towels and flowers. My daughter loved the towel creations which were in our room each day, The grounds of the hotel are absolutely beautiful, stunning trees, plants, flowers , so much colour. Then there are the birds which vary in size and song but provided us with much entertainment during our stay. Then there was the sloth. We were so fortunate to see a Sloth in the hotel grounds every day.
Arrived at 1pm and was greeted by an extremely friendly team, Allan sat with us and told us all about the hotel and offered some advice on local tours. First impressions 'Wow!' As our room wasn't yet ready we headed to the restaurant for lunch. A small, intimate style restaurant, maybe 15 covers, set amongst the most beautiful, lush, colourful and vibrant surroundings. I've reviewed the restaurant on a separate review, but I'll mention here that all of the food we are at the restaurant was so tasty, and we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here most days / evenings. The bungalows are gorgeous! You’re in a secluded, wooded area with beautiful landscaping and lights. The sloth trail is cute. The hot tub (private) was heaven and the staff are very friendly. Very private setting. The coconut (alcohol free) beverage upon arrival is delicious!! If we ever go back to the La Fortuna area we will definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our room was actually a little villa. Spacious and private behind all the tropical plants! While we were soaking in our private hot tub we even saw an iguana and a sloth!! Huge shower and modern room with mini fridge. The breakfast included was made to order and out of this world! Cocktails in the evening and dinner was fabulous. What really made it so special was the wonderful staff. Kind, helpful and friendly every single one! From booking tours to housekeeping they were top notch! We have traveled all over the world and we’re so impressed with Noah’s! Thank you for beautiful memories! Pura Vida!

Friendly and polite personnel all over the hotel lobby and rooms and restaurant . Beautiful scenery covered with amazing tropical plants. Strong Wifi all over hotel area. Neat and amazingly decorated all bathrooms and double rain showers, private jacuzzi for every room. Beautiful atmosphere in restaurant with having every night musician and different tropical birds eating fruits which were hanging all around restaurant.

What a great place to stay. It is very secluded and quiet. the rooms are big and clean, love the shower area with two rain showers and the window int he shower makes one think you are bathing outside. The beds and comfortable and the outside sitting area in great for a evening. The hot tub outside is very much needed after a long day of walking and exploring the near by town. it is within walking to all the shops and restaurant. We had a car but it is easily walkable. The breakfast is delicious, especially the Typical Costa Rica breakfast. Service for all staff surpassed out expectations. I will definitely be back soon!

I am mixed on my review. Beautiful place, comfortable bed, nice room. But they were doing construction and it was noisy in the afternoon and early in the morning. I think they should have disclosed that. I went to relax and really couldn’t.

2nd time here in less then a year, we love the location, property and staff. It’s truly a luxury feeling hotel, the staff are so personable. The beds are comfortable and private hot tub is wonderful.

Completely exceptional and it's because of the people. The staff is nice and friendly on a level I've never experienced. Every last person, from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the grounds crew. The room is perfect, breakfast and other food were really good, the grounds are good, the location is fair...but the people make the difference!

Where do I even start!? The staff, hands down, make this place a gem. Lucy greeted us and welcomed us with a warm smile and very kind demeanor. Arlen delivered room service in the pouring rain on our first night after a super long travel day. They are expanding and improving the property so there was a little construction and temporary fixes in place while the property was being improved and it didn’t bother us one bit. The location is phenomenal, easy access to everything. The grounds are immaculately kept. Plenty of places to lounge around. It’s also very private and romantic. I have not one bad thing to say about Noah’s Forest. With so many places to stay, I’m glad we chose to stay here and would stay there again on future visits. Lucy, Arlen, ChiChi, Eric, Kevin and the rest of the team go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Thank you for making this trip unforgettable! Pura Vida!!

Staff were all very hospitable, excellent customer services . From the time we checked in to the time we checked out everyone’s were very helpful, friendly. Breakfast was excellent, and meeting the owner is a plus since he was very humble and offered to carry our luggage’s. Definitely coming back to this resort and highly recommended- you will never regret to the service you will received!!!

The tropical atmosphere will delightful put a smile on your face. The staff make sure that you are welcome and satisfied. The Wi-Fi and air condition don’t disappoint. Lastly, the room I stay in was clean and immaculate. I will recommend to a friend or family.

We spent 3 nights exploring the rainforest and the town of La Fortuna. Noah’s Forest is a thoughtful and well laid out property that gives the guest privacy, dine al fresco with the birds and frogs, and maybe see a sloth. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. Even with the downpours of rain that we because accustomed to you can sit outside on your porch and listen to the rain and birds. Very calming. The hotel staff, in particular Anna, took care of many of our needs - booking a couple of last minute tours, massages and because we didn’t have a car, arranged our trip back to SJO. She is just lovely, genuine and professional in her communication. Breakfast is included and definitely needed when you have day long activities so don’t miss it. Because we didn’t have a car, we ate dinner at the resort as well and were not disappointed at all. They have local musicians play from 7-9. The team is attentive and genuinely welcoming towards us. A big thank you to Arlen our server!! I always say the experience is in the smaller details and Noah’s Forest did not disappoint.

We had a wonderful stay at Noah’s Forest by Tifakara. It is a small and very intimate resort. The grounds are immaculate and all of the staff are helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the self serve coffee machines as well as the complementary breakfast. With its location only 10 minutes from town it makes for a perfect stay in La Fortuna.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful (especially Carla and Karen in the restaurant)! The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The property is gorgeous and relaxing. The food and drinks were great! They provided us a crib with bedding and we had plenty of bottled water. The showers were incredible - the best water pressure! A bit far from town to be walkable but we drove from Liberia and there was plenty of parking, so didn’t impact us.

Noah's Forest delivers in every possible way. They excel with their hospitality and you really get a lot for the money spent. The location is fantastic because we could walk into town without having to get a taxi or Uber. I highly recommend "Esta Tuanis" for casual dining only 400m (1/4 mile) from the hotel lobby. Google Maps doesn't show it, but there is a shortcut to the main road that cuts 1/4 mile each way to the main park square. Senderos Las Mariolas is only 600m (1/3 mile) away and they give an excellent sloth tour for $32 (you will probably see sloths for free at Noah's Forest if you are lucky). We had a wonderful time here and will recommend to everyone!

Très bel hôtel confortable et bien placé en principe ; lors de notre séjour le pont qui menait à la Fortuna n’était pas accessible et cela nous a obligé à faire un gros détour (compliqué de nuit) Le personnel est vraiment adorable et à votre écoute La végétation autour des chambres est magnifique et les chambres très confortables L’espace piscine mériterait d’être un peu plus grand Le restaurant est vraiment très agréable et les repas servis excellents

This place is really sweet to stay at it’s about 5-10 minute drive from the center of La Fortuna you can definitely walk as well. It’s very convenient and the staff is so wonderful they will make anything happen for you so it’s just nice to feel welcomed and acknowledged. The surrounding area is quiet although it’s close to the center where’s there a lot of people you stay in an area that’s really quiet. The rooms themselves are beautiful as well. And very well kept this hotel does great upkeep on their property

Rooms were large and comfortable. Only downsides were there really isn’t a bar or place to have evening drinks. Also the cost of bottled water was ridiculous ($30 for two bottles of Fiji water).

Property is great - its beautiful location. very comfy bed. exceptional service. air conditioning works great. We did not love restaurant food or service and went out . breakfast was OK. service at the restaurant was super slow ( by american standards). all and all it was gorgeous place to stay. we loved it and would highly recommend it to others. we rented 2 rooms one for adults and one for teen kids.

This place is a gem on many aspects, but what really stood out for us was the service: from the receptionist at checking to the waiter at the restaurant, it has been the best service we had during our two weeks in Costa Rica! Service aside, we also really enjoyed the food at the restaurant (we had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners).

I'd messaged the hotel to say it was my Husbands 50th birthday trip and they put a card, and a bottle of cava in our room and made a cake display out of towels and flowers. My daughter loved the towel creations which were in our room each day, The grounds of the hotel are absolutely beautiful, stunning trees, plants, flowers , so much colour. Then there are the birds which vary in size and song but provided us with much entertainment during our stay. Then there was the sloth. We were so fortunate to see a Sloth in the hotel grounds every day.
Arrived at 1pm and was greeted by an extremely friendly team, Allan sat with us and told us all about the hotel and offered some advice on local tours. First impressions 'Wow!' As our room wasn't yet ready we headed to the restaurant for lunch. A small, intimate style restaurant, maybe 15 covers, set amongst the most beautiful, lush, colourful and vibrant surroundings. I've reviewed the restaurant on a separate review, but I'll mention here that all of the food we are at the restaurant was so tasty, and we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here most days / evenings. Breakfast had cereals, toast, pastries freely available and you could then chose one plate from the menu - photos attached. Our bungalow, number 2, was a river view room and had a king-size bed, a sofabed for our Daughter, coffee machine, fridge, safe, wardrobe, his and her sink, double rain head style shower and the highlight - a private hot tub. The rooms are beautiful and modern. It was nice to have your own hot tub to relax in and listen to the nature. The breakfast was amazing. This is an amazing property.

We had an excellent stay at this charming hotel. The staff is fantastic and so friendly. The grounds are beautiful. Exceptional breakfast. Enjoyed the live entertainment and reasonably priced drinks at the end of day. Also saw sloths on the property!

Amazing food, super clean and relaxing property, staff was always super helpful and friendly! Stayed here most of our trip and 2 days in a different area, the 2 days we spent away we miss everything at Noah’s, no where else can compare to the food and service here!

Noah’s Forest was extraordinary from the moment we stepped on to the property. They’ve really nailed down “taking care of all the details!” The whole property is breathtaking. The grounds were manicured to perfection, the ambiance was serene and magical, and the room was fantastic! More than the visual beauty of the entire property, the thing that made our stay so wonderful was the staff! At the front desk, Cristel was very welcoming and ensured we had everything to start our stay off right, and Adrian and Aaron helped us two separate times to book activities on short notice. The restaurant was also fantastic! Tatiana greeted us each day as friends, Josue was fabulous and we enjoyed learning our daily dose of Spanish from him, Oscar made delicious drinks at the bar and delivered them with a genuine smile, and then on the last day, Steven went above and beyond to prepare us breakfast for the road. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at Noah Forest. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was of very good quality, with fresh and tasty options, and the restaurant was excellent. We had several meals there and were never disappointed. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only small downside is that the rooms with two queen beds felt a bit smaller than what we experienced in other hotels during our trip around Costa Rica. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would happily recommend Noah Forest to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

La relación precio y lo que ofrecen es excelente si bien es cierto a diferencia d e otros hoteles en la fortuna este no ofrece vista al volcán ni tiene aguas termales .. las habitaciones e instalaciones también la atención del personal es excelente .. en realidad no necesito la vista al volcán ya que hoy de todos modos ala caminata del volcán y de aguas termales hay muchas que puedes visitar a un buen costo y estando lindas .. sin duda volvería a NOAHS FOREST TIFIKARA
