Right from driving up the driveway to the resort it’s absolutely breathtaking. I stayed in the princess suite and I literally felt like a princess. The staff is extremely friendly and polite and always willing to assist. The pillows are extremely comfortable as are the beds. My room had its own air conditioning adjustment and heat adjustment which I absolutely loved. I will be coming back again and I can’t wait for the rest of the construction to be finished. I can’t wait to come back next summer!

The check-in process was great and we were upgraded to a room with a soaker tub, which we loved. The restaurant is very small, but the food was great and the server was wonderful (although, working alone and running around doing it all, while the manager, or maybe owner or something?, was drinking with friends). The breakfast bar was also quite good and the server very attentive. The room was very nice, but the finishings were a bit less than luxury. The soaker tub leaked and wouldn't keep water in it. The sheets on the bed weren't fitted sheets for some reason, and the whole bedding was coming apart at night. We couldn't figure out if the TV worked, but we enjoyed having a couch in our room. The rooms are advertised as sound-proof, but we could hear people in the hall at night and kids running around in the morning. The grounds around the place (although somewhat under construction) are secluded and beautiful. They have a good outdoor space to lounge and enjoy a drink or coffee.

The property has a number of high-end finishes and feels to it however they have also missed the mark in some areas. There was no walkway from the parking to the hotel. The front desk clerk argued with me about my online booking experience. The elevator was slow and awkward. There was no light at the end of the hall where our room was. The room was EXTREMELY small and difficult to move in. The phone didn’t work. One light did not work. There was no cold water (only came out warm/hot). On the plus side, the bed was comfy and we had access to Netflix.

When we walked in it was fanicer than we expected. Everyone was amazing. Someone was always there when you need them. The room was very comfortable and the party lights in the ceiling were a great touch. Check in was fast and my husband was able to get a late check out. The patio was comfortable and the view was incredible. It was also a weddings venue, their wedding sites were super unique.

No shampoo in room, could not get tv working, no map of property let alone trails, spent ages killing five blow flies in our room, shower has nothing to grab onto in case of slipping, bed frame is too easy to trap toes in, could not get bedside lamp working, wasp nest visible right outside window. Only one elevator, and no stairs, down to restaurants. Be careful of staying on the same night as a party event (they had two on when we went). They seem focused on serving event guests, not additional hotel-only guests like us. Food is good! But the tap water that comes with it should be filtered better. Apart from that, enjoyed our hotel stay and I would probably recommend the venue for BIG EVENTS (just never for getaways).

A cute little turn-down plate with brownies, cookies and an apple. Loved having the smart TV, bed is comfortable, and darkening curtains would be nice. Across the road is a nice brewery to walk to. I know they are still adding, an outdoor pool would be nice,

Seems like a new venue or venture. Loved the property surroundings being in the country, very quiet. Seemed to be upgrades or renovations going on though, our hillside view was blocked by a tree and a big excavator right outside the window. Rooms were fairly clean and well designed though. May be better once the improvements are completed in 2026.

The hotel itself is amazing. They are expanding their facilities, so the grounds aren't much to look at. Having said that, I did not experience any noise from any construction. Staff are amazing and service is great. The buffet is continental but adequate. Rooms are a bit small but really well decorated and clean. Worth the drive away from the hotels on the main highway in Orangeville.

Good attempt at a luxury hotel - carpet leading to the room was dirty and stained. Room was comfy but the table was sticky. Bathroom shower floors need a good scrub. There was No light in the elevator other than a flash light they provided. Food was average and over priced. At breakfast this morning, I could hear kitchen staff yelling and screaming dropping F-bombs. I won’t return ,

Very clean and bright.

Well, I was greeted by a hair ball and some kind of crumbs (cookie crumbs??) in my room. Next, the view from my room, if I blocked out the broken down equipment and the fences and stacked chairs, and the incredibly dirty windows, it was beautiful. There is a lot going for this property but it needs significant work to get it to premier quality. The food was terrific.

Beautiful property, staying during s hockey tournament weekend. Very helpful staff, quiet building! Very clean rooms.

I had the best suite but the heating was broken so I was moved to another suite. The staff and service was excellent and they can’t do enough for you. The only flaw was the new suite had been vacant for ages and was covered with dead or dying flies which I had to clean up but that wasn’t a biggy. I will certainly come back as the service was excellent and I really liked the staff.

The property looked amazing online but service was substandard, the place was looking run down which was odd considering it’s only a few years old, and rooms were dirty (gummy items stuck on the flooring, a dirty (bloody?) handprint on the wall, and dirty mirrors.

I have travelled extensively for more than 40 years and have never stayed in a hotel room with no chairs. The was an awesome 55” tv with no cable, so why bother with a TV? The air conditioning was atrocious, noisy and went from freezing to warm in minutes. No shower curtain or door, so water went all over the floor. Can’t comment on the food as the menu was very limited and expensive. We had not planned to eat there anyways. You can see that they are trying, but I won’t be back.

An absolutely beautiful hotel. We had a gorgeous room with an enormous bathtub and a very comfortable bed. A couple of little things that I would have liked the European style bathroom that has a toilet in the middle of the room is not ideal, at least it wasn’t our first date! There are just certain things that you like to do in private. They have some very cool LED lighting in the ceiling however you have to have the main chandelier on in order to utilize it which seems to defeat the purpose. Upon arrival we were given the choice of an essential oil to use in the diffuser, there was a beautiful bottle of steel and sparkling water in the fridge, along with some fresh fruit, delicious fudge, and a lovely shortbread cookie. The restaurant was wonderful and the food portions were quite generous. We will absolutely stay again however we might look at whether there is a room with an enclosed water closet.

Room wasn’t ready. Booked a suite and got a room facing the air conditioning unit and the exhaust from the restaurant smelled up the room. Definitely skip this one.

I didnt like that there was no bathroom door. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful property. Our king executive did not have a view but rather overlooked an area where they were storing junk so disappointed. They began constructing a fence outside our room with a bright light shining thru window and drills. Had to call the front desk. For a luxury resort, the toiletries in the room were poor (tiny 2 in 1 shampoo!). Staff were kind. Breakfast included was excellent/fresh ingredients.

Definitely lots of potential for this property. Beautiful area and close to lots of sights. The room configuration was strange, grounds were nice but still in progress. Our room was freezing cold and we couldn't figure out how to stop the fan from dropping to very cold temps through the night.

Very nice resort, new and nice, everything was great great great, ... except the bed mattress, was too soft roll right off mattress at the side, if right in middle sink in too much.

The staff were incredibly kind. The decor was gorgeous. They had the resort all set for Christmas.

Service was fantastic as usual

I love how secluded the property was giving that getaway feel. Its small but intimate, the staff are ALWAYS smiling, courteous and attentive. Kristen, at front desk is just the sweetest, I even received a call this morning to ensure I had breakfast which was greatly appreciated. Angelique, at their restaurant was phenomenal with her suggestions and just the perfect hostess. She checked in just enough and made me feel as though I was the only one there. Lastly, Nigel the manager responded promptly to a concern I had with my room specifically a crack in the window and was extremely generous with his compensation in taking accountability for the matter. Other than that the room was beautiful, tastefully decorated with just the right amount of class and elegance (giving that Homesense feel), the grounds both inside and out are breathtaking. I cant wait to return and take advantage of the views and beautiful patio. It was freezing the night of my stay and raining the next morning so I definitely need a redo I will return in a couple of weeks when the weather is much warmer. One of the staff the night before whom I wish I got his name brought me out some blankets last night to keep me warm while I was out there like how cute. My only recommendation is to have more tower heaters throughout the patio and n at night and day if need should guest opt to be on the patio but want to be comfortable during the day and night. Other than that it was EXACTLY what I needed and perfect!

Nigel and his staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The service was outstanding. The food was very tasty and presentation was lovely. My stay would have been perfect it not for a WIFI transponder ringing and flashing lights all night long. I barely got any sleep. I was traveling with another party in another room and they had a wonderful sleep. Depite this, I will return because

Peaceful stay in a beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed our stay here. After a day of skiing, it was a quiet place to come back to with beautiful surroundings. The staff were great, and the restaurant was beyond expectations.

Friendly and excellent staff, includes these chefs. Food was excellent, we had diners there. Beautiful property. Easy drive to Orangeville and Mono Cliffs from the property. And did I say excellent staff?

We stayed one night and went to Adamo winery near the hotel. It was a perfect place to relax

Just outside of town, beautiful scenery, feels like you are away from everything, but 5 min to the town and all amenities.

The hotel appears quite isolated but is very accessible to local amenities. The sunset views across the rolling fields were stunning. The hotel is modern and small, so was not noisy. The staff are friendly and helpul, the sommelier was great, very friendly and welcoming. We only had breakfast which was plentiful with hot and cold choices and freshly cooked when they ran short. Fresh fruit was just that, fresh. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, very clean and the bed was firm but we had a good couple of nights sleep. Personally our stay was not the best because of circumstances but had things been better for us, we would have enjoyed this location more than we were able to but if we ever came back to this part of Canada, we would come back here. The tranquility was just right.

Liked: Beautiful rooms that were clean , spacious? and comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. They were very accomodating Disliked: Still under development so landscaping needs completion. Nothing to do there unless youre there for a specific function Need a better breakfast

Although breakfast was included due to time commitment we had to limited time and the breakfast was not ready at the posted time. There were a few items but nothing hot until a later time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay at the Mount Alverno Resort. I received a warm greeting from Prabhleen and GK upon check-in. The menu and the food were fantastic, Scott provided exceptional service in the restaurant. As a result of the extreme weather conditions, I ventured out to start my car at 06:30. Raj at the front desk connected with me in the lobby, he offered me a coffee (30 minutes before the restaurant opened. Raj went on to talk to me about the resort, the trails and future plans to accommodate guests. The only drawback is the resort doesn’t offer cable tv. I do like to tune into the news first thing each morning. Highly Recommended!

The food is amazing. The complimentary morning breakfast was the best ever. The room was outstanding and the bed was very comfortable. The marble floors just outside and within the elevator were quite slippery with the slightest bit of moisture.

Beautiful resort, located perfectly from the GTA for a single night getaway. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were great. Will definitely stay here again.
