First off, Ruben and Nancy were the absolute highlight. They made our honeymoon feel so welcoming. Both did everything to accommodate any request we had. I looked forward to seeing them both throughout the day. If I could give them both a 100/10 I would. Also Klayton at the pool bar was so great and helpful for a relaxing early afternoon. The Palacio is beautiful, perfect location, immaculately up-kept and clean. The food is also fantastic. We had spent the first 3 days of our trip running around and needed a respite and this was the place to do it. Easy into Bilbao but don’t sleep on the surrounding area, which is lovely. You will never regret booking a perfectly priced stay. From check in to check out it felt like our home away from home. Can’t wait to come back for another special trip!

A huge disappointment. Great facility in a great location very well maintained. Very professional reception and spotless clean beautiful rooms. Unfortunately service is inexistent with untrained non professional staff who doesn’t even speak English. They try their best but it is just chaotic. The general manager is absent. We very much hope this will improve shortly as it spoils your stay.

This is an A+ hotel outside of Bilbao near the harbor beach, the rooms are gorgeous and well appointed. The 2 person shower room is very luxurious. The staff is very welcoming and the service is superb. We had an electrical issue (the lighting would not turn off correctly) and the engineer fixed it very promptly. The breakfast spread is one of the best I've encountered in a long time, and the welcome drink on the terrace, ovlooking the harbor was a very nice touch. We were there during the outset of the heatwave, and the pool is very refreshing. There clearly is a water cooling syst to keep it that way and I suspect it can also heat the water in cooler weather. If you are in Bilbao and don't mind paying up a bit, this hotel should be on your list.
