I had a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful, with palm trees and a lake right in front of the room. It is the most beautiful location I have experienced so far in Sri Lanka. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. They took me for a walk to the lake, organized a safari for me, and arranged a reliable driver at a very reasonable price. Everything was perfectly organized. The food was excellent. The curry was the best I have had in Sri Lanka, and the fresh breakfast was delicious. The room and bathroom are in a private little bungalow. Everything was spacious, spotless, modern, and very well maintained. The room had air conditioning, complimentary drinking water, shampoo, and a wide selection of toiletries. I highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

The hotel is overall a wonderful experience, truly allowing you to feel part of nature while enjoying excellent vegetarian cuisine and complete tranquility. There is not much to do at the hotel itself, which is exactly the point, it’s the perfect place to unwind, relax, and connect with nature. Yala safaris can also be conveniently arranged directly through the hotel. The food and breakfasts are excellent. The service is smooth and professional, with very attentive staff. The rooms are clean and fully equipped with modern standards.

Very friendly and service minded owners who picked us up in the closest city as well as assisted in arranging Safari in the national park. It was like living in the national park with all the birds and monkeys in the area. The food is really made from scratch and their rice and curry was the best one we ate during our entire trip to Sri Lanka. Also amazing banan pancakes. We can really recommend this place when you plan to visit Yala or just want to be out in the nature!

The staff here could not be more helpful and friendly. I felt very welcomed and safe. The property sits on a lakefront with abundant wildlife. I enjoy photography and one of the staff kayaked me with my camera around the lake to take photographs of the wildlife. Like I said the service is unparalleled and the food is excellent. The staff is prompt and plans were followed up to the letter. It doesn’t get any better.
