Hotel Kakola is wonderful and unique. Previous prison has been renovated with good taste and quality. The prison theme has been used in good manner in decoration. Room was like new and clean. Bed was excellent. Room was silent and even the A/C was very quiet but worked perfectly. The only thing which could be better is parking hall where the slots are rather narrow for modern cars.

Fräsch och mysigt hotell på en hög höjd några km från dom centrala delarna av Turku. Hotellet ligger omgärdad av bostads hus och kanske inte den bästa utsikten från rummen. Området är iallafall väldigt lugnt och med bra parkeringsmöjligheter med en avgift på 10 euro per dag. Vill man så kan man leta efter gratis parkering bland bostadshusen. Rummet var standard där personalen fullföljde vårt önskemål om att få ett badkar, tummen upp för det. Rummet var fräscht och badrummet var jättefint, till rummet ingick även en liten balkong. På rummet fanns det vattenkokare, sodastream och kaffemaskin med kapslar saknade dock ett litet kylskåp. Sköna sängar med underbara kuddar och täcken. Frukosten var bra med fräscha alternativ, ett plus för äggröran och deras hemgjorda yoghurt och mycket bra laktosfria alternativ . Det enda som jag saknade var fler bröd sorter. Nu frågade jag inte personalen men fanns det någon bastu eller spa på hotellet? Hittade inget i informationen.
