This hotel served all of our needs due to its impeccable location, close to the Gibraltar airport and the border with Spain. Free parking was easily available. Staff was courteous. English Breakfast was elaborate. Need to improve communication with customers on the messaging platform of Expedia.

Beds were very uncomfortable. You can hear other people talking from other rooms. Parking is very limited and they have few spots available on the streets that were not monitored for people not staying at hotel. We had to parked 3 blocks away in a public parking and pay for it. Hotel is not centrally located and to get to places there is a lot of walking distance involved.

Great place to stay when visiting Gib. Parking 200yrds passed the hotel on the right, walkable to Ocean Village, clean and comfy room, very nice breakfast included.

The room was comfortable and updated. The issue is there is very linited parking and it shares with a restaurant. For the amount I paid for one night we could have stayed somewhere else where there is actually ample parking spaces. I will never stay here again if I ever come.back to visit the rock.

Amazing super friendly staff, and meets regular holiday inn express standards. Breakfast was good. Location is so so, not close to highly rated dining so need good 20 min walk or driving with very limited parking options in Gibraltar in summer. Also only one EV spot (albeit free which is nice) but very limited parking for guests.

Great stay at this property during my 2-day stay in Gibraltar. It was easy to walk here from Gibraltar Passport Control, taking less than 15 minutes. The hotel interior is minimalist and modern - looking like it has been updated recently. Rooms were well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The free breakfast buffet in the morning was great! Keel in mind there are no amenities like pool or gym. The main area of town is an easy 15 minute walk away.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness in the rooms and breakfast area was excellent. The choice of food for breakfast was good and should suite everyone. Only criticism was that the carpets in the room looked a little tired, not dirty but marked, which is why I personally prefer wooden wooden or tiled floors in hotels. Overall experience was still 10/10.

You get what you pay for. The room was fine, clean-ish, with gross stains on the carpet. They say laundry service is offered but not every day and it takes at least 24 hours, so if you are on a quick trip you might miss the window. Breakfast is fine, but they don't keep it full. Rooms were quiet, and our view was of the cemetery.

We absolutely loved it here. Our room was spotlessly clean and service daily by a lovely, efficient, friendly group of ladies. We were given an upgrade and had a fantastic view of the rock - it was fantastic. From check in to checkout we were treated like family - given ideas on activities and restaurant recommendations. We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute of it. A great atmosphere - all staff are super friendly and welcoming.

This hotel was located in a decent location and had about 8 free parking spots, which were not full even on a July weekend. The room was very small and our shower leaked into the toilet area. Cleanliness could also be improved. It was nice to have breakfast included. If you can get a deal, this hotel is fine. If the cost per night is close to the other options in Gibraltar like it was for us, I would look elsewhere.

Stayed for a couple of nights on a work trip. The rooms are fairly spacious, the windows do open (which is becoming rare in some hotels) and the shower was pretty decent. The bad bits, check-in took ages as the room key wouldn't work, car park is just a couple of on street spaces behind the hotel and the breakfasts is pretty limited. For a couple of nights will do but I wouldn't recommend for longer periods.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Gibraltar for one night. It was very quiet - I didn't hear a plane during our stay. The room was clean and perfect for our needs, with a nice view of the rock from our window. Excellent breakfast buffet included with a lot of options. They also stored our luggage until check in and after check out so we could explore unhindered.

Convenient location within walking distance of the airport. The room was nice, but for the price I was expecting a mini fridge and reliable hot water. The water never got more than lukewarm. Also, the partial glass wall in the shower allowed for a wet bathroom floor no matter how careful I was. The breakfast buffet was decent. Friendly staff.

The staff was outstanding. We were there 2 nights and ate in the lobby area several times (breakfast x 2 and light dinner x2). The staff made sure we were well cared for during check-in, parking (!) and the rest of our stay. The room was clean, the right size for 2 adults, and comfortable. The Rock was just outside our window…the Rock is lit by spotlights for most of the night, but that did not disturb us. I was really greatful that the hotel provided a box of facial tissue in the bathroom. This is the first of the 5 properties we’ve stayed in Europe on this trip that did so. I got sick (common cold) last week, so it was wonderful to have tissues for blowing my nose. IYKYK.

Hotel staff were not user friendly! I ask to have them bill my room for a cup of coffee after it was made and he refused to charge it to my room. Then I told I need to pay cash immediately rather than wait till I went back to my room. Obviously he trusts no one. Very rude. Not having much of a choice, I will not book this hotel chain again!

5 night stay whilst visiting the sights. The hotel is away from the usual places to visit but still only a 10 minute walk to the main area. Little else is in the vicinity being in a semi industry/ residential area. The road outside is now the main link to the frontier so a high floor for light sleepers might be wise. I was on the 6th floor (top) and facing the Rock which is an amazing view itself. Breakfast is ample and varied but can become a bit sparse at the end of the alloted time. There is plenty of space to eat though. The room is typical HIEx so very functional, enough space and well designed. Large TV has pretty much every channel you can think of plus cleaned everyday at a reasonable hour. There were some issues with the key cards which required twice resetting which was a bit annoying but the staff were excellent throughout the whole stay. Friendly and attentive. The Rock isn't cheap but this certainly did the job for me. Just avoid the bar...prices outside are half that in the bar.

I've been to several Holiday Inn and this has always been a good experience. But this particular one is the best Holiday Inn ever. The building is nice, the room was spotless, the staff was extra friendly and helpful. The bathroom was packed with various high quality washing accessories. The breakfast is worth a separate praise - it was a 4-5 star hotel level buffet breakfast that was INCLUDED in the price of stay. Various kinds of meals for every taste, everything was delicious and well-cooked. The service was great - no disposable utensils, only nice plates and forks. The dining area was spotless and actively cleaned throughout the meal. The only time issue was a view - it was to the cemetery. But that's more like a funny thing than a real issue.

The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful staff they were so helpful And kind, the room was what we were expecting although TV channels were limited. The only criticism is the bar opening times were inconsistent it really depended on who was on duty! And the food after breakfast was pretty awful if You arrive late

On checking in we were advised there was no hot water in the property & no indication of when it would be available. Luckily it was back on by the evening when we wanted to get ready to go out, but not the best start. Staff were really helpful & friendly. Easy access to everything & very quiet despite being so close to the airport runway. Breakfast quality was average at best, but plenty of availability.
