Friendly helpful front desk. Airport shuttle was the deciding factor in staying at the Comfort Suites Midland TX.

My family and I always look forward to the pillow top beds to sleep on, and we all had a really good night sleep from a long day of traveling. Also having many dining options at walking distance made it easier for a quick bit or a place to sit and enjoy. The only complaint we had was there were no towels by the pool.

Nice hotel and conveniently located for the Midland area. Overall safe area. Sushi restaurant outside the parking lot which is pretty good. HEB and Sam’s club with walking distance. Side door to hotel was broke and when I tried to enter with my belongings. Informed front desk staff and he could care less. Told him a sign would be helpful he just looked up at me. Stayed at over 2 dozen hotels in Midland and Odessa. This seemed like the most safe and had a pretty lit parking lot.

Early Sunday morning a hotel water pipe broke. Unable to shower, brush teeth or flush toilet 🙁

Amazing! Room and the entire facility was clean! Hot tub and pool were both excellent!

If you’re looking to book any hotel with pool or hot tub, make sure to call to see if they’re working!..Booked 1night came from a 2 or more hour drive just in time to get to the hotel and get ready for the event we were traveling for.Arrived and by front register a sign said hot tub was out, then as I finished signing agreements front clerk notified us their was an “incident” in the pool so that was out as well.I let him know those were some of the main reasons I chose them and it would’ve been nice to know before.He offered us to travel at walking distance to sister hotel to be able to go to their pool etc, I agreed and decided well i guess it’s better then nothing.Then we leave with key card in hands and get most of our luggage down just to find out card key was not working at all.At this point I was completely frustrated, I let them know I was not accepting and deny staying there.It doesn’t end there obviously they didn’t want to accept cancellation and had a hard time, if it weren’t for my 3rd party being on the phone with them 2hours, I would’ve just left home and lost money…however we did lose time and most of our event which was more valuable !!!!

Our stay was pretty good at this hotel, the only thing I did not like was the pool. Very very small. Other than that it was nice. There is a Sam’s club and an HEB like 2 min away walking and lots of restaurants arounds

The advertised airport shuttle never showed up. Waited for a hour and had to Uber

The pool and hot tub was clean and towels well stocked. Breakfast had quality biscuits and gravy (not dry). Gym was clean and all equipment working well. Beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet and dark, service was superb! Area was excellent for anything you'd want to eat, even an HEB down the road!

The hotel and staff were great but if you are staying here for the free airport shuttle, go somewhere else. I had a flight at 5:00 and they booked the shuttle to pick me up at 4:00 and it’s a 15 min drive to the airport. At 4:15 I got an Uber because the shuttle still hadn’t shown up and ended up missing my flight. DON’T USE THE SHUTTLE.

The elevator down button did not work. I walk the stairs and the same hair ball has been on the stairs for the last 3 weeks. In the last 3 weeks I have stayed there 3 times.

Very clean hoterl overall. Housekeeping did a great job on keeping my room clean. I've always stayed at differnt high name hotels in Midland and by far this was a 5 star hotel in my book.

It was a terrible experience this time. There was blood on our sheets and they tried to blame us when no one even laid down yet and then I said I wanted my money back and they said they can’t but did move us rooms. They also had the pool shut down when we paid extra money to stay there for an indoor pool because it was windy outside. The cleaning person was very rude to my daughter. The manager was unprofessional at first. I will not go back again.

The room was disgusting. Had blood on sheets, dirty washcloth on vanity, blood on towel. Did not change my room. Left without staying second night.

Hotel was very clean and the room was very clean as well. Most hotels we have been too lately smell musty or like weed or smoke, this one did not. Large shower.

Honestly our room had gross hair all inside the sheets and outisde the comforter when we got there. The tv set up for a suite with a couch and two beds is right in the middle of the wall. It was super annoying to watch tv. When i asked a clenaing lady where the pool was, she looked at me like i was dumb and didnt respond. Kids were running and doors were being slammed all on the 3rd floor. The pool and hot tub is SUPER small and the hot tub had soap bubbles in it the whole weekend. The front desk asked when we would like our room cleaned, i said just new towels the next day please, and nope. Never got any. Food was good though other than the juice machine was out the second morning and they never filled it. I probably wokt stay here again.

Really disappointed. Stayed here numerous times. Found a few baby roaches crawling in the bathroom. There was someone I dont believe had a room hanging around the front outside with beer and then also inside the hot tub with beer. Annoying for my little girls who want to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The room didnt have extra bedding for the pullout bed. I would add photos but the app wont let me

Noise coming into the room through the closed door to our room very early in the morning was ridiculous. We could hear every last word of several phone conversations going on in the hallway while we were trying to sleep. Every time someone would let their room door shut during that time, the sound reverberated down the hall and into our room. This made it impossible to sleep past about 6:30 in the morning. In all our years of staying at numerous other hotels of similar price range, the sounds coming from the hallway into our room has never been so annoyingly loud. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable and we were happy with everything else during our stay.

The room was clean and spacious. Check in was super quick and easy. The pool was perfect, my kids really enjoyed it. The only downside was our satellite or cable tv in the room was not working, it gave a "poor connection" indicator. The clerk said she couldn't get anyone out until the morning to look at it and that there wasn't a room we could be switched too. She didn't offer a discount or anything else for the inconvenience. We had children and would of really enjoyed relaxing watching tv after swimming.

Worst night sleep in a hotel ever. Hotel was very clean. I will not dispute that. This place has paper thin walls however and the room doors slam so loudly that I was awakened all night every time someone went in or out or their room and it occurred all night long. I could hear the conversation in the next room and even someone sneeze. The bed was very uncomfortable so what little sleep I did get, caused me to wake up feeling like I had been run over. I tried to get my second night cancelled and refunded to which the hotel refused. Had they cared that I was so unhappy with my stay that I wanted to move somewhere else my second night, I probably would not have left a review at all because at least the customer service would have made me feel that they cared. They refused to cancel and refund my second night, so I will make sure everyone else knows that you will be unhappy with your stay.

AC had high pitch noise, very annoying

I will never stay here again. I was in an adjoining run with NO LOCK!!! HORRIFYINGLY UNSAFE!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY...i didn't sleep abit, i barricaded the door with furniture, I was so terrified. .i checked out the next day & went to a much better, safer, cleaner place & loved it!

Very clean. The rooms were big with a comfortable living area.

Room was clean, the shower was very nice, and big, the bed was clean and comfortable. I liked the room very much and the couch was a nice benefit. Plus it had expanded cable channels which was a great added touch.

Upholstery on sofa bed in room was worn all the way through. Bed was not comfortable. Won’t be staying here again.

The room was very comfortable and the staff working housekeeping and breakfast were very pleasant. The front desk attendant was rarely there and was not pleasant when we called down to say we had taken a Gatorade. She demanded we come down immediately to pay for items instead. Not a hint of care as if we stole it. She was not at the front desk and we waited 20 minutes. The next day we came down to Check out and she was on a personal phone call. I asked if I could check out and she said “Yeah” while staring at me blankly. She didn’t ask for my room number or end her personal call. Since I did not move, out of being caught off guard and being made very uncomfortable, she asked “Do you need a receipt or something?” Would not want rate lower as the room and other staff were great. I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I was charged twice for my stay, and getting the issue resolved has been a nightmare. The front desk was unhelpful and kept giving me the runaround instead of fixing the problem. I expected better service and accountability. I won’t be staying here again, and I don’t recommend it to anyone who values honest billing and customer support.

Front desk attendant was terrible. I felt like I was intereupting her when we arrived to check in. She was unfriendly, and a horrible first impression for the hotel. Our room was clean, bathroom was clean. Pillows for the bed seem to be getting smaller and smaller.

The place was good but they cleared all my stuff out of the room one day early. I rechecked in and spent the last night. I asked them to e-mail me a reciept. It was never sent.

The only thing I have to say is check-in was at three. We cannot check in until 430 and we were there for a baseball game so we had to have my son go with another team member just so we could check in. The lady at the front desk was very nice about it. you can tell she was a little stressed out about it, but she did well. There was a line from the front desk all the way to the door just for people trying to check in and her calling to make sure that rooms were clean so she can start handing out the keys so we could go put our stuff up. We’ve never had a problem here we always stay here.. hopefully we can continue to do that.

The front desk staff needs better customer service skills, night shift lady was to loud and so slow and the morning lady was on her phone the entire time.

Staff was cooperative with the changes made through Expedia.

Very clean and quiet but difficult to sleep at night because curtains couldn’t block out li ft ra from outside. Also not really a pedestrian safe area.

Convenient and close to restaurant and shopping. Property clean, well lit and felt safe. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast!

Very near the HEB grocery store just a short walk and also easy access to I20

The location of the hotel was awesome. Having dining, gas and groceries at just a walking distance away was awesome!!

It was tricky finding the right road , gps told us we were in the parking lot in front of Sams Club.

The hotel is in an ideal location, everything is so close, H.E.B., Sams, Starbucks, the Midland mall, fast food places like Fazoli's if that is what you're looking for to restaurants like Cracker Barrel and Abuelo's, the hotel is very clean and modern, the staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is delicious

This stay was one of the best experiences I’ve had with ANY hotel. From The cleanliness, to the breakfast selection. We felt safe and at home away from home.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast

We visited Midland to see my mom in hospice there, as her time had come, so it wasn’t the best of circumstances. As far as the hotel facility itself, it appeared to be fairly new and was well maintained and exceptionally clean in all respects. Bed was large and the linens were excellent. The shower in the bathroom was large and had an excellent shower head with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was well prepared and included eggs, bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy or you could prepare your own waffles. There was also an assortment of muffins. Coffee was very good and available throughout the day. The people at the desk were helpful and attentive. It was a good stay during an otherwise stressful trip.

The breakfast had no eggs or sausage/bacon. Attendant both mornings just seem like it was routine. But to be fair this is Midland, Texas where all things are pretty sub par right up to medical care.

The breakfast was mediocre at best. The same thing every day. The sausage and the bacon was very slowly refilled. The young man maintaining the breakfast was always on the phone in the back.

Every thing was wonderful. The staff was wonderful.. The spa and pool were clean and working.A lot of cable channels. We had to travel to see our special needs son and his wife.One day the eggs were too dry and the sausage was burnt.. Everything else was perfect. Even had 3 Christmas trees were we took pictures.

The hotel is beautiful and updated, we had a 2 queen bed and pull out couch room, the beds were so comfortable, the breakfast was delicious.

We enjoyed our spacious room. My grandkids enjoyed the indoor pool. The selection for breakfast was great!

While this property advirtises rooms that sleep up to six people, they do not provide adequate towels, linen, nor toiletries for each person. They stated that there is a towel shortage so we had four towels, two washcloths, and two handtowls to share between five people. The pullout couch does not have any linens or pillows. When asked, they gave us a pillow. We used the top sheets of the other beds to make up the pullout. The breakfast had options, but they ran out and did not make any or provide more. We were very disappointed in the service provided.
