The facility was dated but well maintained. I gave it three stars for the facility because the elevators were out the entire week of my visit. I marked it down a star because of the seaweed that made the beaches unusable for the entire week I was there. Of course this is not the resort's fault, mother nature will have his her way. All in all you can't beat it for the price and the facility. It is especially good for people with small children they seem to have an entire section just for family and small children.

The resort is spacious and well laid out. We stayed in the adults-only section, which I highly recommend. The adults-only pool was clean and spacious, in comparison, the two other pools on the resort were much more crowded, which meant they were less well-maintained: there was sand at the bottom and the water was a bit murky. At the time of our stay (June 2025), the beach was completely inaccessible due to a large accumulation of seaweed (sargassum). Unfortunately, this significantly impacted our overall experience, as we weren’t able to enjoy the ocean. In addition, there was a persistent smell of sulfur in the air, especially in the mornings, something to keep in mind if you’re pregnant or sensitive to smells, as it can cause nausea. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised. The meals were tasty and varied, with several à la carte restaurants and great cocktails. One downside, however, was the restaurant reservation system: you have to book very early the same morning, and spots fill up quickly. There’s no option to book in advance, which can be frustrating if you don’t wake up early enough. The staff, was very professional, nice and friendly. Overall, it was a lovely experience, with a few areas for improvement. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

Entertainment was great as there were always different choices. Food was very bland especially room service and got tired of the weak choices at the buffet. Pool was chipping away and found tile pieces in bottom of the pool and a friend cut his foot and they didn’t do anything else with cleaning of the pool afterwards. Wouldn’t come back as it was subpar at best.

Air conditioner did not keep up so we just walked around naked and was fine 😉 If you are travelling as a couple, Beso adult only section was worth the extra money. Adult only pool and gives you another restaurant option. Beach was unusable due to seaweed, not resorts fault.

This is a large property with a lot of rooms and 4 swimming areas. An adults only, a pool with a bar for the more alcohol driven folks, a very large family pool and a kids pool area with some play structures. The restaurants are quite good! All of them. And the snack bars. Excellent. The staff are great. The property is clean. It’s a little bit worn as it isn’t new, but very well kept up. There is also a soccer field / basketball court and some other amenities like a bowling alley and a spa. Not that raccoons come out in the evening. They are very friendly as many guests unfortunately feed them. We also saw some Coatis and Agoutis during the day. They weren’t disruptive. Just there. There was a lot of seaweed during our stay, which could not be cleaned up. Too bad as you could tell there was a beautiful white sand beach. There is a smell from the seaweed but you get used to it quickly and it isn’t bothersome. Our family with two teens would go again.

The spa was amazing as it included hydrotherapy with both a sauna and steam room, a cold pool and very hot, hot tub! The food was great and staff amazing.

Beautiful property. Very nice staff. Great food in the buffet. Route 66 diner staff and food was amazing. The manager of Routt 66 is so fun and made our dining experience so relaxing along with our waiter. Hotel room floors were dirty but the rest of the room was clean. The bowling was super fun. The adult area pool was by far the best pool service in the resort. Did not see any theater shows and was hoping for a little more evening entertainment but overall above average resort. The staff were incredible for the most part. Thanks for a memorable vacation and would come again and looking forward to the new sister property ooe inf soon near you.

I spent 5 days with my family at the Coral & Turquesa Cancun and I have nothing but good things to say about this location. From the moment we arrived we noticed the level of attention guests received, we were given a closer room to the lobby and pools as my wife was in crutches at the time of arrival and from there everything else that followed was just great. Top level entertainment, super friendly staff, very clean facilities, out of this world food at the restaurants, overall just a great experience and I would absolutely recommend this resort specially for families.

Would NOT recommend. The food was very bland and dry. There are like 2 good restaurants. Cockroaches in our room. Towels were like sand paper. Hardly any bars open during the day or evening. Limited things to do. Only 2 places open for lunch. SO many raccoons everywhere! They walked into our room when we were in there. They came and serviced our room two times a day which we felt was unnecessary as we felt we had to put away our things every time we left the room.

ROOMS: Stayed in Junior Suit Ocean View. Very putdated. Room was spaceus, however, old and unkept. Bathrooms are big as well but somehow not practical and no privacy, there is only a thin curtain in the washing area, the toilet and shower have doors but they are small. CLEANLINESS: Somewhat clean, but dirt has build up over the years and it is noticeable, especially in the bathrooms. STAFF: Very nice, helpful and accommodating. LOCATION: Hotel was on a good location and it had nice beach area, However, before booking make sure the beach is clean. During our stay there was way too much seaweed. The beach was unusable and it smelled really bad. BUFFET/ Restaurants The buffet was nice different viraety of foods. It tasted good. The only thing was that to enter the buffet you have to wait to be seated and if it was around 7pm the line could get long. The other thing was that the AC didn't always work and it got very hot and unpleasant. There are 2 restaurants that were on first come first serve basis however you have to be there once they open up otherwise during dinner time you have no chance to get a table. The restaurants with reservation you have to make the reservation the day of at 8 am, however, almost every time when I tried to make a reservation by 8:01 there were bi more seats available. I really didn't enjoy my stay. First off we couldn't enjoy beach because of seamoss. The rooms had ants in them. The racoons act like they live there. We had to wait hours for service for towels or I had to call them like 3 times and when they did come they only brought 2 when there were 4 people in room. No all night pool.

Honestly the resort isn’t terrible, but my friend and I visited Ocean El Faro in Punta Cana and that resort set high expectations for us, so we were dissapointed with the franchises location in cancún. We were dissapointed with the cleanliness of our initial room at Ocean Coral & Turquesa so we asked to change it. Front desk changed our room. There is only one restaurant open past 10pm and the chicken was raw. The buffet food had a wide selection, something for everyone.

First room given was hot with no A/C. Was told that it is working, and should consider turning on the fan. Ended up sleeping there one night. The beddings had a very stinky smell due to the no a/c. It was very musty. Was moved to another room the next day - was much better. The a/c worked, so the beddings did not stink. Did not give the hotel a high rating because the hotel credit of $50 for VIP members was not a credit, but coupons to use towards at least $150 purchase at the gift shop. Therefore, it is not a resort credit, but a discount with a minimum purchase of $150. Therefore, it is really a 33% off with a minimum purchase of $150. There were no spirits in the room's minifridge - only had water, pop and two cans of beer - no spirtis/hard liquor. Asked for beach towels, took 30 hours to be brought to the room. Food was above average. Activities at the resort were well planned and many to choose from to participate. There is a bowling alley, games room with pool, air hockey, ping pong table, board games and a digital games room for the kids.

Very friendly staff! Buffet food was not great, but the reservation restaurants for dinner were awesome. Air conditioner did not keep up so we just walked around naked and was fine 😉 If you are travelling as a couple, Beso adult only section was worth the extra money. Adult only pool and gives you another restaurant option. Beach was unusable due to seaweed, not resorts fault.

ROOMS: Stayed in Junior Suit Ocean View. Very putdated. Room was spaceus, however, old and unkept. Bathrooms are big as well but somehow not practical and no privacy, there is only a thin curtain in the washing area, the toilet and shower have doors but they are small. CLEANLINESS: Somewhat clean, but dirt has build up over the years and it is noticeable, especially in the bathrooms. STAFF: Very nice, helpful and accommodating. LOCATION: Hotel was on a good location and it had nice beach area, However, before booking make sure the beach is clean. During our stay there was way too much seaweed. Brandon, our Butler, was fabulous. Both Brandon and Jose the Pool Concierge went out of their way to make my husbands birthday very special. Brandon took care of everything we needed and checked in with us daily to make sure we were okay. The staff at this resort is outstanding. We booked two rooms next to each other. While one room was cleaned on time, the other was consistently left dirty for another 2–3 hours. If we asked housekeeping to come later because we were in the room, they wouldn’t return that same day, no matter what time it was. The restaurants were fine, but the service from the waitstaff definitely left room for improvement. The biggest disappointment of the trip, however, was the beach. There was an overwhelming amount of seaweed — stacked up to six feet high in several piles — unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The cleaning staff appeared busy, but in reality, very little progress was made, and the smell carried across the entire resort. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations and left us disappointed.

Absolutely love the staff there they were great people.Samuel at guest services was an awesome guy. He helped us through every part of getting there and learning where everything was and how to do everything. Any questions I went to him and he helped me. I cannot express how awesome guest services were. Everybody is super friendly over there. You feel very safe on the resort and I’m definitely coming back. The bartenders is there are some of the greatest I’ve ever seen super friendly people. Anything you need they can make it.

We looked like locals so staff wasnt as nice and we got ignored and barely helped. Food was a 3 out of 5. Breakfast sapposively was open at 630am but but it wasnt set up till 7 30am. We had outing that we got picked up at 720 and breakfast wasnt done. Truly facility was beautiful but suervice and food could have been way better. We got a expedia vip and didnt receive any of the benefits the free gift none of it.

We weren’t able to eat at any restaurants there because they were all “booked.” The app wasn’t working to make the reservations, so we went to guest services to help us out. She claimed there was nothing she could do, but that we also weren’t able to book reservations 24 hours in advance. We met friends at the resort who invited us to dinner with them, because they were able to get reservations for the whole week when they checked in. But somehow we weren’t able to do that. The activities they had were great we had alot of fun with archery, dance lessons and aquagym and the evening shows at 9pm were pretty good. One issue we had was just trying to get water we don’t drink much alcohol, and when we asked for water instead, it sometimes felt like a hassle or like we were being dismissed, which made us uncomfortable many times we had to ask several times before getting water but whenever we asked for alcohol drink we received pretty quick. Another issue was being pushed into a timeshare presentation without really being told what it was. We were sent to the front desk, then told to have breakfast with someone even though we said we already ate. They said it would take one hour being,naive and not wanting to be rude we agreed but it dragged to 3 hours lost patience and ended it myself didn't even want the massage they offered and just threw the coupon away. Just be aware of being talked into these presentations. Overall, we would return — maybe just bringing our own water next time. If you’re looking for a beach resort, this might not be it, but they can help you book an excursion to Isla Mujeres, which gave us the one perfect beach day we wanted.

This was probably the best customer service I’ve ever received in my life. The hotel had everything you could imagine, and the staff constantly asked if we needed anything while paying attention to every small detail. The pools, buffets, and drinks were excellent. Six days were not enough to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. I 100% recommend it.

Overall the resort waa great for teena with so many options. The seaweed made the beach unaccessible and a terrible smell. Definitely not their fault, but the beach was the main reason we came. Also, they gave us a didn't vand for being "expedia" which i thought was weird and we arrived at 1130am and check in wasnt until 3pm. They did accommodate to give us a room 15 mins before but I made a survey expressing my frustration as there werent many spots to cool off and the pool was warm. They hunted me down the next day at dinner to explain the check in policy almost like theg were upset over my review. Although I understood their point, I felt like theg could have accommodated an early check, most hotels Ive stayed in do. The restaurants were nice but the food was ok. We enjoyed our stay but will probably not return.

This is a large property with a lot of rooms and 4 swimming areas. An adults only, a pool with a bar for the more alcohol driven folks, a very large family pool and a kids pool area with some play structures. The restaurants are quite good! All of them. And the snack bars. Excellent. The staff are great. The property is clean. It’s a little bit worn as it isn’t new, but very well kept up. There is also a soccer field / basketball court and some other amenities like a bowling alley and a spa. Not that raccoons come out in the evening. They are very friendly as many guests unfortunately feed them. We also saw some Coatis and Agoutis during the day. They weren’t disruptive. Just there. There was a lot of seaweed during our stay, which could not be cleaned up. Too bad as you could tell there was a beautiful white sand beach. There is a smell from the seaweed but you get used to it quickly and it isn’t bothersome. Our family with two teens would go again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly and accommodating. We booked through expedia and if you do, you cannot modify your reservation unless you do it via expedia who then has to communicate with the resort. We booked a long stay (8days), we felt it was too long, and we wanted to stay closer to cancun, but since we did not add the option to refund, the resort denied our change. The resort is pretty, by the water, that is why we booked it. However, there is a huge issue with the algae there, and the smell is strong. We appreciate the hard working staff in their restaurant and buffet places. Food has loads of options in the buffet (fruits and vegetables). We preferred the buffet style vs the reservation restaurant overall. The pools are well maintained. We ended up renting a car for the week. We booked a private tour with GIOVANNI Tour and skip the lines (Chichen Itza, Cenote pool, lunch). We drove in the morning to the port and took the Xcaret ferry from Cancun to las Isla Mujeres (would recommend renting a golf cart for the day) , we drove to Delphine beach and the vicinities. Overall, nice resort, location is isolated, beach is not usable due to algae right now (june 2025), staff is great. Rent a car if you have a long stay.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly and accommodating. We booked through expedia and if you do, you cannot modify your reservation unless you do it via expedia who then has to communicate with the resort. We booked a long stay (8days), we felt it was too long, and we wanted to stay closer to cancun, but since we did not add the option to refund, the resort denied our change. The resort is pretty, by the water, that is why we booked it. However, there is a huge issue with the algae there, and the smell is strong. We appreciate the hard working staff in their restaurant and buffet places. Food has loads of options in the buffet (fruits and vegetables). We preferred the buffet style vs the reservation restaurant overall. The pools are well maintained. We ended up renting a car for the week. We booked a private tour with GIOVANNI Tour and skip the lines (Chichen Itza, Cenote pool, lunch). We went to this resort for our honeymoon and had a good time, but some things could have been better. Upon our arrival we were told we would likely get a honeymoon suite and a package sent to our room, I wasn't expecting to get anything extra, so this was a nice surprise. However, neither of these things ended up happening, which was a bit disappointing. The first thing you will notice about the property is the seaweed at the beach. I know there is nothing the property can do about this, however it does impact the experience greatly as the beach is totally unusable. There is a smell from the seaweed across the whole property, we slowly got used to it but were certainly still noticing it on our last day. You also get charged an extra fee for "seaweed removal". We never saw any seaweed get removed. The staff was overall friendly and helpful. However part of their job is clearly to upsell you on extra experiences and excursions, which is a large pet peeve of mine. No staff member was overbearing or rude about it, I just don't want to be constantly getting sold to or be getting calls to the room asking if id like to purchase an excursion. I chose this resort for two reasons, cost and food. I had read several reviews saying the food was excellent. This set my expectations too high, as i wasn't very impressed. It was solid, but i've had better at other all-inclusives that were similarly priced. This was a fine experience for the cost, but it is unlikely I would return.

The food, staff, and drinks were outstanding. The pools were nice too. They do there best to keep the beach free from seaweed, but was just that time of year. The worst thing is the main eating area/ cafeteria temperature. You'll sweat while you eat. Needs improvement. Food is great though.

I travel to Mexico every year with my family and like to try different resorts. This one had a beautiful property, clean facilities, and a great service- especially from the stuff who were always friendly and helpful. The resort is very family friendly, with good entertainment and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed spending time in the pool. However, the food was hit or miss. The buffet lunch didn’t have enough meat options, and Brazilian style restaurant was disappointing. The meat was very salty and the chicken breast was dry. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the Mexican restaurant, Italian, Hibachi, Route 66 and the cafe they had much better food. Overall, it was a nice stay.

On arrival our room had a moldy smell. They brought a dehumidifier and sprayed some aroma scent. That took care of it,and we asked them to spray 2x daily. Unfortunately we had to ask every day for it to be done. Finally the last 2 days they did it as we requested. Overall a laid back resort. We are active seniors and enjoy dancing at night-disco or night club. The entertainment was geared towards families and kids. Buffet was just ok. Blue moon was excellent. Italian was excellent. It a lian patio was mediocre. Too long to wait for food. Brazilian steak house just ok. Didn't care for Route 66 menu. Staff everywhere was outstanding and helpful. Everyone on the Blue Team worked their tails off every day to make you feel welcome and have fun. Fernanda was outstanding as was Eduardo at the Chill Bar. Estrella at housekeeping took care of the issue with our room once she became involved.if she was involved sooner, our stay would have been excellent.

Dining reservations impossible to secure. Hard sell on timeshare was horrible. Food was average at best at the one rez restaurant we could get. Room was spacious and very clean. Pool was large and nice. Location near airport was good.

Staff (some) were friendly and catered to your needs. We weren’t able to eat at any restaurants there because they were all “booked.” The app wasn’t working to make the reservations, so we went to guest services to help us out. She claimed there was nothing she could do, but that we also weren’t able to book reservations 24 hours in advance. We met friends at the resort who invited us to dinner with them, because they were able to get reservations for the whole week when they checked in. But somehow we weren’t able to do that. When we entered the restaurant ‘Blue Moon’ we were yelled at by the manager/guy because we weren’t on the reservation list. Some people behind us gave us their reservation, which made him even more mad. Mind you there were only 6 people in the entire restaurant. 40 tables were open. He proceeded to say he was going to call security because we weren’t leaving. When we toured the property to potentially become timeshare holders, we were told that certain restaurants were for privilege customers only. We paid extra for the El Beso adults only part of the resort only to have been able to eat at the buffet the entire time.

Slow service for food. Both in lunch and dinner restaurants. The elevator was broken most of the time though service staff worked on it every other day. Food in general was mixed quality. The Italian restaurant was quite bad. Overcooked meat/pasta/gnocci. Route66 restaurant was super noisy due to really bad acoustics inside.

Honestly the resort isn’t terrible, but my friend and I visited Ocean El Faro in Punta Cana and that resort set high expectations for us, so we were dissapointed with the franchises location in cancún. We were dissapointed with the cleanliness of our initial room at Ocean Coral & Turquesa so we asked to change it. Front desk changed our room. There is only one restaurant open past 10pm and the chicken was raw. The buffet food had a wide selection, something for everyone.

J'ai choisi cet hotel pour pouvoir faire du snorkeling directement en partant de la plage. Quelle déception de constater en arrivant que la plage n'est pas accessible car envahie de sargasses. Aucune mention dans le descriptif de l'hotel. Aucun message pour prévenir et surtout aucun substitut de proposé pour pouvoir profiter de la mer. D'autres hotels ont mis en place des barrières pour laisser la plage accessible. cet hotel a décidé de fermer pour 3 mois et de ce fait ne fait plus rien contre les algues mais a décidé de ne pas en informer ces clients.

Front desk staff poorly managed a large group and people had to wait almost an hour to check in. The A/C kept running all night and we had to moved to another room and had to go back to the front desk. Food was delicious at the buffet, that and the swimming pool were the best amenities.

Each year, I plan a family vacation with our family and friends, and this year there were nine of us. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and created many great memories. I also wanted to take a moment to share some feedback about our experience, as I hope it can be helpful. I would like to recognize a few team members who truly made a positive impression: * Our server at the Mexican restaurant (unfortunately, I did not get his name) was outstanding. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and provided the best service we received during our stay. * Lluvia at Kelly’s Playhouse went above and beyond. I had accidentally been looking at the rainy-day activity schedule instead of the regular schedule for bracelet making. Even though it was my mistake, she took the time to help and made it possible for my son to participate. Her kindness meant a lot to us. * Arturo, the bartender, was also very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. I also wanted to share a few concerns: * Erika from Sensai provided very poor customer service. As a lead, I expected a higher level of professionalism and leadership, but unfortunately that was not our experience. * Emmanuel from Guest Services seemed to struggle with handling a difficult situation. While I understand challenging situations arise, I felt he could have been better prepared to resolve the issue. * Isis at the buffet provided poor service during our visit.

The resort is quite nice, despite the excess seaweed. However the all inclusive food options are of a very poor quality. In fact the Mexican street food from outside is 100 times better. The restaurants have low seating numbers, hence impossible to get any reservations without escalating to guest services. Not a hotel I would revisit!
