This bottom floor unit connected to a private home had amazing views from the bedroom and lounge room. We loved that you can see the ocean from the bed. Whales could be seen every day of our stay. The beautiful large decks were lovely too. The bed was comfortable. Quality linen was provided. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Quiet and felt private. Good blinds to block out the light. Comfy lounge. Lush soft carpet. Desk available. Check in was easy and communication with the hosts was easy and perfect. Kitchen included a coffee pod machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric stove and oven. Washer/dryer was also available and a folding clothesline. (No pegs). Iron and ironing board also provided. It was about 500m from town, but the hill is incredibly steep, making the walk back from town a major feat. Small price to pay for the views. Unless you have a high car, like a 4WD, you have to park a little further up the hill… but we didn't have trouble with finding a spot. The entrance to the unit is down a very steep pathway, with some steps, and no railing…. Which is well lit… but a little tricky to navigate with suitcases, in the rain, or after a glass of wine. There is a little platform to enter the unit, which now has a railing. Bathroom was cold during our stay, and would benefit from a heated towel rail during the colder months. Overall, a lovely stay and we would return if we stayed in the area again.
