We absolutely loved our time in Talasnal. The village was amazing, such a beautiful place. The home itself was perfect for our family. This was a great location for us as we traveled to Coimbra, Tomar, and the Batahla Monastery while we stayed here. Joao Pedro was so responsive and kind, he was a great host. Highly recommend!

The most unique property (and location) we’ve ever stayed in. Access to hiking trails immediately outside our gate was something we didn’t expect and allowed us to explore without having to get back into a car to find a trailhead. Alda was extremely helpful in all respects. The wild boars wandering below the village were a fascinating find.

The property was amazing located in a historic village 17th century Schist village. Our host met us there and gave us a tour of the beautiful home which he had renovated. He was very responsive to any questions during our stay. The house is three levels and the village has lots of steps so good mobility is needed.

Spacious yet cozy with a cabin feel inside. Great location with beautiful hiking trails (caution: very challenging even though labeled moderate). Great for older kids but staircases lack railings so would be unsafe for younger kids. Beautiful house with lovely garden and pool. Good communication with host.
