I stayed at Hotel San Miguel for 8 nights. Room was clean and had the basic amenities. However , the restroom is small and there’s no refrigerator or microwave. Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. Hotel experience was good being in southern Mexico and in el centro of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Hotel location is walking distance from parks , churches , and landmarks. Be aware that housekeepers do turn off AC when you’re out and be prepared to come back to a hot room .

Great value. Walking distance to cathedral and Marimba park. Uber to Sumidero canyon to the fountain in Chiapa de Corzo (Pila) with 2 blocks walk to pier(Embarcadero). Commentary in Spanish only.
