Clean, rooms, halls and common areas. Staff was prompt, courteous, friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and area and pool: Clean, quiet, all that was needed was well located. Shower, towel, chairs, table.

This was a stop during a road trip, but by far the most comfortable hotel we got. Super clean, spacious rooms, quiet, great gym and pool, and convenient snacks store open all the time. Lots of parking space, conveniently placed near highway, and with lots of shops around. I recommend it.

We stayed at the same property as we went to our destination and returned home. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely appointed. The stafff is very helpful. What I didn't like was a $75 hold on my credit card each time (I thought that was higher than most places), a charge for breakfast (most places offer that for free). At 2 am, I got a $5 charge for an unexplained expense. In the morning as we left, I asked about it. It was for parking. Are you kidding me?? If I'm staying at your hotel, why would you charge me to pay to park there? Should I park somewhere else ? It's ridiculous. Because of that feeling of being "nickel and dimed" with charges like this, I'm not sure I'll choose your hotel again.

Hotel was in great shape, seemed new. Staff were super friendly, loved the location, easy on/off 90. Coffee and dining and shopping all close, also very dog friendly which was huge for us. Very cool outdoor furniture space outside the pool.

Pretty new hotel, so everything was excellent and functioned great. We got in around 9PM and were happy to see the bar and restaurant were still open. The bartender was great and got our order in before they shut down. It was nice not to have to go out to find some food. My only issue was that the gym had no towels or water available, but it was a nice space with plenty of options for your workout.

After a day of driving, very nice having a (limited) dinner menu at the lobby bar. Room was clean with spacious bathroom (large shower, great water pressure). Nice size overhang for loading and unloading vehicle when raining. Dog friendly. Limited grass options - a fenced dog area would have been wonderful.

Parking Fee and then not enough parking spaces but that was due to people taking up 2 spaces.... that was a problem but the staff allowed us to park right in front...

Both mornings they had a breakfast buffet instead of ordering off of the menu and we loved it. Lots of good choices! We all slept well - the beds were very comfortable! I appreciated the nice washers and dryers available for guests to use.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Pillows either flat or rock hard. No tea in lobby. Or one bag of Lipton. Lipton in room but doesn’t work with a keurig. No breakfast. $4 parking fee for surface lot. Loud physical fights and cursing, people on ground in parking lot after 1 am below out window when trying to sleep. Otherwise very quiet. Ice only on alternating floors. Stairways smelled like dead mice. Staff was nice and helpful and kind. Didn’t get maid service so no comment on that. Price seems a bit high. Across from tractor supply and u haul but Aldi is right nearby. Newer hotel. Busy area but lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Price for a 2 oz glass of wine (red wine should not be served chilled!) in the bar was insane. $9? Rooms were pretty clean and well maintained but hotel is only four years old. Members get free laundry but we didn’t use it. Pool was closed one day. Not sure why. Workout room is pretty large.

I stay here for work when the weather is bad instead of driving all the way home down the turnpike. I like that they have a restaurant inside so makes it easy to get dinner without leaving the hotel and going out in bad weather. Staff is always friendly, it’s generally quiet

Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Although we did find dirty underwear on the floor between the bed and the wall from the previous person in the room.

Very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious and super clean no grime around grout or hair anywhere. Would definitely stay here again.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was genuinely disappointing. The biggest issue was the cleanliness, especially in the washroom. It was clearly not properly cleaned before my arrival — there were stains, old toiletries left behind and used toilet still in the toilet bowl. It made the entire stay uncomfortable from the start. For the price I paid, I expected at least a basic level of hygiene, which was unfortunately not delivered.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and our room was spacious. The room could be a bit cleaner, though. Found hair on our bedding, towels, and throughout the bathroom. Also some gross areas inside of the shower.

Friendly front desk staff. Don’t like paying for parking in the hotels parking lot. Bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly - hairs on the shower walls.

Did not like that it was all laminate flooring. The bathroom door would not stay open for circulation of hot humid shower air (and no exhaust fan). Light switches for some lights were concealed. Liked: Room was dark and quiet, though hallway doors slam hard and noisily. Bed was comfortable. Easy to control room temperature.

Checked in, staff was very friendly, slight delay of having a room ready even though it was a hour past check in time, but luckily got a room once they reached housekeeping for a status, property seemed newer and outside area was good. Upon arrival in the noticed a few odd things, no mirror in the bathroom, oil of some sort leaking from the door, went to turn on the tv and it turned on, but remote wouldn’t do anything else and tv appeared to have lines through it like it was broken. Bathroom was ok besides the mirror missing, shower could be cleaner. Went to the front desk on our way out and let them know of the issues with the room, staff was already aware of the issues with that room but did not offer to change our room, said the mirror was ordered a while back and gave me another remote for the tv, second remote changes channels and first turns on/off tv and controls volume so kind of a hassle. Once turning on the AC, it sounded like a generator was running in the room from then on, it was loud enough and vibrated enough to wake us up in the middle of the night basically every night, but being summer it was needed for cooler air. Pool area was ok, sand in the bottom of the pool but water appeared clear. Never tried breakfast. Overall we were disappointed of the conditions of the hotel being that it was newer, was hoping for a more enjoyable stay. Value wise, price wasn’t bad for the stay. Upon returning to Erie, I would definitely look for a different property to stay at.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn several times, because they have the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. It would be really nice to have a microwave in the room as well. But good stay and amazing sleep!

AC fine, Wi-Fi good, plenty of room, appreciated the gran bars.

They charged me twice and I have been fighting with them to take the 2nd charge off. It’s been over a month. Expedia charged me first. Then the actual hotel charged me again. So will not ever stay here again!!

Charged $75 to my room can’t get a hold of anyone to ask why

We didn’t stay because our room wasn’t ready when we got there at check in and they said it would be an hour or two. We had been driving all day and didn’t want to wait. They shouldn’t book rooms if they can’t have them ready. We will never stay there again. It was our anniversary and was totally ruined

Unfortunately when we arrived there was a long lineup of people waiting to checkin. There was only one attendant checking people in. Another staff member came out to see how she was doing, did not acknowledge anyone in line (over 20 people) and quietly said “oh well too bad I can’t help you” and simply walked away. Many people were surprised by the lack of customer service and lack of courtesy. The poor woman trying to check everyone in was new to her role and we would have expected that someone would have stepped up to help her or at least acknowledge those waiting for an extended period in line.

The morning AND night staff were great. They were polite and informative. The room was huge, and the hotel was a short distance from many attractions. I would stay here again. Thank you Holiday Inn Erie!

Heather at the front desk was great. Check in was super easy. We got a great room that was large, exceptionally clean and comfortable! Our dog felt at home. Breakfast was ok.. waffle was great, eggs seemed to be a mix and too dry for our tastes. But the hot chocolate bar was adorable and delicious. All in all it was a great stop during a snow storm! Kudos to Heather again!!

Front desk staff allowed us to check in about 45 minutes early- after a day of travel my son was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. We appreciated this so much!

Front desk staff was wonderful. We arrived at 12;30am and she was cheerful.

From was clean, pillows were nice, mattress was uncomfortable. Commmon area wasn’t unkept or cleaned well at breakfast. Breakfast was average. Unfortunately, the other guests completely ruined our evening. We have a small child that was trying to sleep at 8:30 and the halls were full of unsupervised children, running, playing, yelling, slamming doors, and full on playing hockey. I did come out and ask the kids to keep it down, that we have a small child sleeping, they responded appropriately but the noise continued off and on til 11:00. I requested extra pillows, front desk said they’d bring them to our room and never did. When I called from the room to front desk or house keeping, no one ever picked up. I called 5 or 6 different times.

Very clean and quiet room. The ciew of lake Erie was a nice bonus. Restaurant on site and other dining options close by.

Great new property, close to interstate and multiple eating options.

New hotel close to the mall and several restaurants. Easily accessible to the Highway also.

We had a great stay! Perfect location - while set back from the main road, still super close to anything & everything you could possible need. Clean & Quiet. My kids loved the pool, especially the shower rooms with the LED lights. Joyce at the front desk was fabulous!! We’ll definitely be returning.

Staff was very friendly. It was right off of the expressway. A variety of dining options and shopping very close by.

Sparkling clean, basic hotel. Rooms are large and quiet. Not in an attractive area - across from U-Haul, back of mall. Right off rt 90. Good for quick, one night stop. No frills but has what you need and staff are nice

Conveniently located right off of interstate 90. Lots of restaurants and activities. Close to wine trail. Food on site along with a bar. Will stay here again.

Short staffed. They allow too many dogs. They dogs are allowed on all floors when they are all booked. We did inquire at the desk about this situation . This would explain the not so fresh smell in the room. Had an experience when a dog did his business in front of the elevator and the lady almost did not pick it up. The breakfast that was supposed to be cooked to order was closed. They put out a breakfast buffet which was cold and the sausage looked undercooked.

The breakfast was nice but having to order and wait was inconvenient with our schedule.

I paid for breakfast at Expedia for family , hotel reception at check in mentioned that there is no breakfast. Had to spend another 50 dollars outside again . Worst part is when i was checking out at 945 am there was breakfast served and ended at 930 am . So hotel does not know what is doing . Not going to recommend this place and giving 1 star for staff and service. 0 should have been best here.

Room was great. Service at the breakfast bar, not so much. Our room included made to order breakfast and each morning the hostess/cashier was unpleasant and the tables were dirty.

The bathroom was not clean. The employee who checked me in charged me twice for breakfast, though that was resolved at check-out by a different employee. But my biggest complaint is that when we went to breakfast, we were told that there was at least a 40-minute wait for food. We were on a fairly tight schedule, so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast, even though we had already paid for breakfast at the Holiday Inn. a 40-minute wait for breakfast at a hotel is simply unacceptable.

The beds were super comfortable - one of my best sleeps in a hotel. The breakfast was great! It tasted fresh and there were enough options to order - everyone was happy.

The staff was friendly and polite. The rooms, lobby and restaurant was clean. Outside the lobby there was overflowing garbage during the day and later that night. It was cleaned up the next day. Please be advised breakfast is not free at this location. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express in othet state's and breakfast was free. This was confusing. The staff explained very nicely that we needed to pay for breakfast when the hotel has a restaurant. But we did not know this hotel had a restaurant. Everything was explained to us and worked out but I think customers need to be warned.
